i'm a newbie in icloud and want to know more about it. Hope someone can help me.
can i share my folder and files in my icloud with another icloud users?
can i also set password for some subfolder inside the shared folder?
(though user get shared access to the main folder,they still need to enter password to open the subfolder with password)

No. You can use a file sharing site like DropBox and have a different folder that only they can access for people you want to share file with.

Hi, I have a colleague whom I'd love to help out by sharing a form I've created. The form took me 8 hrs to program and I don't want her to have to do the same thing (or worse - me log in to her account and create the form). The form I have is pretty perfect as it is - can I share the form I created with her.
Note: I don't want to give her access to my form's submitted data or anything like that.

What you want is share the design template.
Open the form
From the Design Tab go to 'File > Export Design File...'
Save the *.FCDT file on your system
Email that file to your colleague
You college can them import that FCDT file from her FormsCentral dashboard ('File > Import Design File...').
Only the form design will be shared and not the data.

Can you share large files on iCloud drive like dropbox?

I am exploring how to use iCloud drive now...and had a basic question. Can you share large files from it in a similar way as you can with dropbox? This is a great feature of dropbox...or google drive when mailing large files just doesn't work.
I have a Yosemite beta currently, and it doesn't look like you can do this.
I also was wondering if anyone has figured out how to make an alias of the iCloud drive on the desktop rather than always opening a finder window in order to drop files into iCloud drive....

You can store any type of file in iCloud Drive, as long as it's less than 15 GB in size. There's no restriction on file type, so you keep all of your work documents, school projects, presentations, and more up to date across all of your devices. Learn more about managing your iCloud Drive files.
If you make an alias to a folder on iCloud Drive, you can drag it to the Favourites in the Finder sidebar. That is the best I could do.

iCloud only syncs your iCloud calendar. It won't sync your exchange calendar.

I can't share a file

After using Creative Cloud Storage for the first time and I'm having a lot of problems.
After contact with support in Adobe they told me Storage is still in beta...
After uploading a file to CC, I selected to share it, and the sistem (in the web) told me that this file can't be shared... ¿reason? I don't Know.
The web suggest me to contact with Adobe support, but Adobe Support told me that Storage is in Beta and doesn't have support yet -> FAIL
Do someone knows or undesrtand why I can´t share a file?
FAIL for Adobe. I pay monthly for a service who includes 20GB storage, and they never mention a beta service.

Adobe - I don't get it - you change your whole platform to a cloud based service - and a lot of the software is video based - yet you can not use creative cloud to share video? Go figure
Just before CC launched adobe closed CS Review - this was an awesome tool for those of us in video - allowed for me to sahre a video edit draft with designees and for them to review a sequence and make comments etc and then the sequence with the comments is sent directly back to premiere for revision.
Why is has this not been incorporated in CC???

This is interesting though, i wasn't aware of the fact that you could run 'share' on a file. But i did some testing and it seems to work.
It makes me wonder how to access it though, i don't think you can mount a file, you would have to mount the directory it resides in and then access it..
Its of course possible that you would be able to access a shared file with automount and /net..
Anyway, the man page indicates that the design is intended to be used on directories...

If your Mac is running OS X 10.7.5 or higher, you first have to go to System Preferences>iCloud, sign in with your Apple ID to create your account, then check Mail. This will automatically add an iCloud email account.
To transfer your AOL mail, you need to drag and drop them into the same folder in the iCloud account. If you have any folders in your AOL mail, you would need to create folders by the same name in the iCloud account, then open each folder, select all the mail in the folder and drag and drop them on the folder by the same name in your iCloud account. (To create a folder in the iCloud account, click the "+" at the bottom of your folder list, choose Create Mailbox, choose iCloud as the location and give it a name.)

My computer cannot run Sharing so I don't have firsthand experience. My reading of it is:
1) Music sharing lets you stream (not transfer) select items, including specific playlists, between local computers on the same network.
2) Home Sharing lets you stream or transfer media files between computers on the same network. I don't know if this is as spacific as particular playlists, or you you have to make the playlist once the desired content is transferred. It says media so doesn't look like it restricts transfer to specific playlists, it just makes your whole media collection accessible on another authorized computer.
You can export a playlist file from iTunes, but this is a text file listing of content, not a complete playable package.

We have three computers, each with its own Itunes account, and each with its own library. There is overlap, but we don't each want all the same music. Can we share a selection here and there with one another, and how?
