Can i share music from one iphone to another iphone

can i share files or music from one iphone to another iphone?

Copyright breach with Apple transfering multiple copies to multiple users not permitted.
Each device is specifically paired with a laptop or Apple stand alone computer.
But try to synch both devices separately with the same music library in Apple music media folder??
Only acheivable with itunes and apple products as well. see how it goes.

Can I transfer my music from one computer to another via home sharing?

So long as they are on the same wifi network, yes.
Have both computers running and have iTunes open on both computers.
Now, in the iTunes on the computer you want to transfer music to, select the library that you want to transfer music from, as per the following screenshot:
Once the other library loads, go down to the bottom of the screen and in "Show:" select "Items not in my library":
If you want to import all of the songs you can now see, head up to the iTunes menu bar and go "Edit > Select all". Then head down to the bottom of the screen again and click the "Import" button in the bottom-right-hand corner.
If there's a lot of stuff in the library you're transferring from, the transfer may take some time.

  • HT1495 Can I add music from one iPod to another without losing music on the first ipod

Looking for a way to add music from one iPod to another iPod without losing music on the first iPod ... Please help

iPods are not backups or data transfer tools.
Move the music from the computer where it exists to the computer where you want it.
Then sync the music to the iPod.

  • Can you sync music from one iPod to another?

Both are the same model of iPods, but they came from two different computers. They have different libraries. I was wondering if you could transfer songs from one iPod to the other iPod. None of the songs i want to transfer are in the computer's library. The songs are from seperate computers.
I have a PC, in case that hepls any.

No it isn't possible to transfer music from one iPod directly to another. The music needs to be in an iTunes library in order to transfer it to an iPod.
You said the songs came from two different computers and they have different libraries. Then you said +"None of the songs i want to transfer are in the computer's library."+ which seems to contradict what you said originally.
    Care to elaborate?

  • Can I move music from one computer to another using iTunes?

I have two computers, one I want to retire.  Both computers are running iTunes.  I want to move my music from the old PC to the new one.  I turned on Sharing.  I can play music from the old PC on the new one.  Can I move the music files within iTunes or do I do a backup/restore of the music outside of iTunes?

The easiest way to do this is with File > Add to Library...
Navigate to the other computer's iTunes Music folder and select everything you want to copy.

  • Can you transfer music from one iPod to another (that having one of them set up as a NEW iPod and not signed in with the first) through iTunes on the computer?

My mom has an iPod 2nd gen. I have been using it this whole time until Christmas. I got an iPod 5th gen. We listen to the same type of music and hers is on iTunes on the computer. I want to have my own iPod (set up as new) not set up with her account. But I do not want to re-buy all of the music that is already on her iPod. Is there a way that I can transfer all of her music from iTunes on the computer to my iPod (using the computer). If so, then how? and if not, is there another way that is possible other than logging my iPod in with her account?

Copy the music for the old iPod to his computer by:
Recovering your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device: Apple Support Communities
Then sync the new iPod to that computer.

  • In plain English - How can I get music from one computer to another?

Honestly guys, I havent a clue! I have purchased music from my work PC, but cant access it from my Home PC. I have read the manuals, but it dosent make sense to me! So, in ordinary, basic, plain English, how do I access it from home?!

If you are using iTunes 7 I think this section from the Apple article is pretty straightforward.
To transfer iTunes Store purchases using iPod:
Connect your iPod to the computer on which you bought the items you want to transfer.
Copy the iTunes Store purchases to your iPod.
Disconnect your iPod (click the Eject button next to its icon) and then connect it to the computer you want to transfer the purchases to.
Choose File > Transfer Purchases From iPod.
You could also burn the song files to a data CD or DVD. Once you've burned the disc, take it to your other computer and import the songs into iTunes. Don't forget that regardless of which method you use, both computers have to be authorised to play the songs: About iTunes Music Store Authorisation and Deauthorisation

  • I can share iTunes, I can share apple tv can we share books from one iPad to another in the family

My daughter has downloaded a book to her iPhone, I should be able to download it to my iPad without having to pay again but I can't figure out how?

These are user-to-user forums, you are not talking to Apple here.
Audiobooks (and ringtones) are currently a one-time only download. I believe that they are all supplied to Apple by audible.com, so I assume that it's them who are requiring the one-time only download restriction. To get it onto your other devices you will need to sync it via a computer. Depending upon what country that you are in, Audible.com have their own app (Audiobooks from Audible) so you might be able to buy direct from them, though I don't know whether you can buy within their app or download audiobooks directly from them within the app e.g. whether they need to be copied via a computer.

  • How Can i transfer music from one account to another.

My very first account on itunes was using my fathers old work email. Well he moved jobs and then my next account let me still listen to the music i had purchased from the old account. Well then the second account got hacked and i had to make a new one and i got a new laptop. I have all the music in my library but it wont let me play it or sync it to my ipod. It keeps asking to authorize with the first account and i would be able to do this but the old password we used for it does not work and the birthday on the account is changed and i cannot access it at all. Is there anyway to make the music able to play and sync?
