Can i share photoshop with my family?

Helo.
For me its important to do things legaly. So is it legal to share photoshop student edition inside family. Example: I install my photoshop on my mother and brother's computers, and let them use it when im not.
In the photoshop(student) description it stand that i can install it on personal and family computers, but not that i can let them use it freely.
What is legal, what is not.
Thanks

  • Can I share iTunes with others in my family or do we have to all buy the same songs since we have different apple IDs?

I am new to iTunes and am wondering if I can share iTunes with my family or do we just have to all purchase the same songs multiple times since our devices have different apple ID's.  My iPhone was set up last year to one iTunes ID and I just got an iPad but it has a different apple ID. So I can't even share with myself! It seems stupid to have my husband and I both purchasing the same music.

There are two ways to share your content. The simplest is just to use homesharing. Simply set up homesharing on each device from the iTunes advanced menu (you need to use the same details on each computer), providing the computers are on the same network they should see each other and can be found in the list on the left hand side of the iTunes window.
The second way is to transfer the content to another computer, play it and authorise it to play content from that account by entering the original account password when prompted (this only needs doing once for each account, not for each tune)

Can you share kindle books using family sharing?

    Hi Charlie42,
Happy New Year!  The link below explains how you can tell which purchased content is available to share using Family Sharing.   Contact Amazon for more specifics regarding sharing their content.  The Kindle app itself may be shareable, but the books may be considered an In-App purchase, making them not shareable.  Amazon would be able to give you a definitive answer.

Which purchased content can I share using Family Sharing
After you set up Family Sharing, the eligible songs, albums, movies, TV shows, books, and apps purchased by family members will be available to everyone else in the group. Learn what you can share with your family members.
If you turned on Share My Purchases, you can share most content that's also available in iTunes in the Cloud. You can share Music, Movies, and TV shows from the iTunes Store. You can also share Books that you downloaded from the iBooks Store, and apps from the App Store. The availability of each content type depends on your country.
There are a few things that you can't share:
Songs added to iTunes Match from outside the iTunes Store
    In-App Purchases
Items that are no longer available on the iTunes Store
    Items that were hidden
    Apps that aren't shareable
If you're on an Apple TV, you can't access shared music.See if you can share an app
Use these steps to see if you can share an app before or after you get it.
    App Store in iOS 8
Go to the app's description page. Scroll down to the Information section. If you can share it, you'll see Yes next to Family Sharing.
Go to Updates > Purchased > My Purchases. If you can't share an app, you'll see Not Shareable next to its name.
Mac App Store in OS X Yosemite
Go to the app's description page and check the Information section. If you can share it, you'll see Yes next to Family Sharing.
Go to Purchases. If you can't share an app, you'll see Not Shareable next to its name.
    Learn more
If one of your family members received their content through Apple ID for Students, you won’t see it in their shared purchases. This includes apps and other content distributed through the school.
Family Sharing requires a personal Apple ID signed in to iCloud and iTunes. Music, movies, TV shows, and books can be downloaded on up to 10 devices per account, five of which can be computers. iOS 8 and OS X Yosemite are required to set up or join a Family Sharing group and are recommended for full functionality. Not all content is eligible for Family Sharing. Content can be hidden by family members; hidden content is not available for download. Content downloaded from family members or acquired via redemption codes is not subject to Ask to Buy.

  • An app that i had and used to be free can't be shared with my Family??

i've downloaded an app when it was free a long time ago, then i've deleted it. Reciently i've searched it and now it has a pricetag.  I tried to buy it in my new iphone 5S (same icloud account)  and it didn't charge me After agreeing the purchase because i've downloaded it for free in the past. Thats great, BUT it doesn't appears in Purchases at all!, so i cant share it with my family neither delete it and try to actually pay for it so I can share it. I dont want to be charged if same rules apply! But anyways, please i need a solution! We are a touring band and we need our tuner!. The app is "InsTuner Chromatic tuner". Please help!  Thanks you so much in advance!

I use the same tuner. There are now two different versions (I'm not sure if there were two in the past). I know for certain I've downloaded the FREE version in the past to try it but looking under the FREE version of the app, it states I have not purchased it (app says GET in the App Store). I then later purchased either the paid version or the FREE version with the in-app purchase of the Pro version (are you confused yet?)...
    1. InsTuner Free - Chromatic Tuner (in-app purchase of Pro version)
    2. InsTuner - Chromatic Tuner with Tone Generator (NO in-app purchases & not free but I don't know the price since I've seemingly paid for it)
I have full access to #2 and it shows in my purchases and can use it on all my devices
I have no access to #1, it does not show in my purchases as it shows I have not yet bought it (GET in the App Store)
I don't seem to have the same problem as you but it still seems to be a confusing mess. This has happened in the past with other apps as well (can't say for certain which though) that start out with a FREE version only, then come out with a separate paid version and add an in-app purchase to the FREE version that makes it essentially the same as the paid version. Two versions: one is paid & the full version, the other is FREE but has an in-app purchase that makes it the same as the paid version...again, confusing if you initially downloaded the FREE version and possibly paid for an in-app purchase with that version.
You may want to try downloading the FREE version if you haven't already and see if it works for you.

  • How can i share documents with different users on the same mac?

How can i share documents with different users on the same mac?

Shared how? The other users can read the documents or you all can read and write the documents?
The first is easy just place the documents in /Users/Shared anyone can access the files there and the other users will be able to read them.
The second is a bit trickier.

  • How do i share content with my family without becoming responsible for payment of everybody's purchases? with familysharing i mean, not home sharing

how do i share content with my family without becoming responsible for payment of everybody's purchases?
with familysharing i mean, not home sharing
i have set up a familyshare for my parents and 3 siblings, all mid twenties. everybody is used to paying their own way. how do i make that continue to be the case and still keep the sharing facility open?
e.g I don't want to pay for my sisters' music purchases - half of it i don't like - but would like access to it now and then.

-> Home Sharing is different than logging into the iTunes store.
You enable Home Sharing using one AppleID. Doesn't matter which you use but all devices must use the same AppleID for Home Sharing.

Copy the entire iTunes folder from your old computer to your new one using one of the methods discussed here: iTunes: How to move your music to a new computer.  If you no longer have the old computer and you have to transfer it from your phone, you will have to purchase and use third-party software to extract the music from your phone, such as Touch Copy  or CopyTrans.

The second link in ingo's response is key.  If you husband syncs his device on the same computer, whether under the same apple I'd or not, you can share music( each pick their own based on what they want to carry around) and pictures, and apps.
Updating apps can get tricky, as they will only update to the original apple id that bought them.  But music is fine.
You may need to authorize the new computer if he will be using a seperate apple id.  And make sure you don't just sync everything, or one device or the other will get wiped.  If you want to sync only music, they'll that to I tunes in the tab setting for that device.
