Can I specify the "root package" of the Library?

Can I specify the "root package" of the Library (currently seemingly hardwired as "components") so that the generated code has sensible package names i.e. "com.adobe.buttons.HelloWorldButton" rather than "components.HelloWorldButton".

Not from within Flash Catalyst. However, if you are taking your project into Flash Builder you will be able to customize the package names there.

Problem Changing the Root Directory of the Default Virtual Host in J2EE 7.0

I'm trying to change the root directory for the default virtual host in J2EE 7.0.
i did the following steps in visual admin: services -> HTTP Provider -> Runtime -> Virtual Hosts -> default:
Root Directory: "D:/usr/sap/<server>/<instance>/j2ee/cluster/server0/apps/sap.com/crm~b2b/servlet_jsp/b2b/root/b2b" (this the correct path to the application)
Start Page:"z_index.jsp"
I restarted HTTP Provider Service and the J2EE.
When I start http://<server>:<port> i get the following error:
The requested resource /z_index.jsp is not available
Details: File [z_index.jsp] not found in application root of alias [/] of J2EE application [sap.com/com.sap.engine.docs.examples].
sap.com/com.sap.engine.docs.examples is the initial default root directory, but i changed it to the correcht path...
Can anybody help me?

Namespace Prefix in the Root Element of the variable

Hi Gurus,
We need to call a webservice which requires a namespace prefix at the root elemnt of the xml payload. But as we know that the default behaviour of BPEL removes the prefix so the invoke activity is failing and so we are stuck.
I found this thread Namespace prefix in Root element missing during variable assignment but i feel the solution specified in this link works only in SOA 10g environment Please let us know what needs to be done?

There could be a 32 bit vs 64 bit issues-is the old machine a 32 bit? and what is the new machine as far as 32/64 bit. I am not sure now if CS5 has in the help menu of the PS app the selection to update within PS if so that might work. I know that the Creative cloud app for installs updates etc has caused me much consternation over the last couple few years. Last it could be something like your Software firewall settings or anti-virus anti malware programs. Why does debugger not find source code when compiler output has been directed to the root directory, but the source is in a sub-directory, using Forte for JAVA community edition V3.0

I have configured Forte to put compiler output, i.e. my classes, in the root directory of the project. I now find that the debugger does not find the source code when it is in a sub-directory. However, if I temporarily copy a classes' source code to the root directory the debugger will display it.
To direct compiler output to the root directory I selected Project >Settings>Compiler types, then External Compiler ( which is the default compiler in my case ) and set Target to be the root project directory. This is the only directory it will allow.

How can I specify an area path for the work item created on build failure?

In our department we are working with multiple build definitions for different parts of one Team project. We heavily use the Team Project feature. Teams are defined by area path nodes, so each team can only see it's area path. No one (except the admins)
can see the root project node.
When a build breaks, TFS generates a Bug. Unfortunately, this bug is assigned to the area path root node, so nobody can see the generated bug and act on it.
We would prefer to specify the area path for the generated work item in the build definition (not template, but property of a build definition), as every build belongs exclusively to one team.
I have found that you can populate fields of the generated work item by filling the "custom fields" of the "create work item" activity. But how do I set the area path as a parameter?

Can you specify actions to perform if the users closes the course?

I know you can specify what happens at the -end- of the project, but is it possible to have actions that run if someone clicks the X button at the top right of the window to close the course?

Not in Captivate. But you can add JavaScript to the HTM publishing templates that can do something at this point.
You'll need to investigate the onUnload and onBeforeUnload JavaScript events.

How can I specify where to look for the server installation of the Oracle client?

I assume changing the $ORACLE_HOME variable would get ORE to use 12.1.0.2 instead of 11.2.0.3, but I only want to change which Oracle R uses. How can I override the server's $ORACLE_HOME location when I'm connecting to the database from the client side?

On the server, the Oracle R Enterprise installation is tied to an Oracle Database installation. Have you installed Oracle R Enterprise for both the 11.2.0.3 and 12.1.0.2 databases?
If so, the client connect will be able to find the ORE server when you connect to the database using ore.connect:
R> ore.connect(user = "username", sid = "database sid", host = "hostname/database server", password = "user password", all=TRUE).
During the ORE installation on the server, we lay down software bits on the OS, install a schema into the database, plus add some libraries to $ORACLE_HOME.

Iview not selected in the transport package during the export

I created a transport package to send the change I made on the iview com.sap.portal.masthead to QA system.
I added correctly the iview to the transport package but when I clicked on the button EXPORT to create the epa file, I found that the iview was not selected.
My change canu2019t be send to QA system.
Any idea how to fix this issue?

You can not transport a standard content as it can overwrite the old version and create a new version of the content.

You can copy a the existing iView , change the id and transport the same. Use the changed iView everywhere instead of the standard ones in this case.

The legal status of the fonts packaged with the trial version of CS5.5 after expiry

Greetings,
This is basically a question of conscience: I recently had the 30 day trial version of CS5.5, and was surprised to find that after the trial expired the fonts included in the demo package did not “self destruct” but continued to be available on my system. Does this mean that I can legitimately keep them on my computer (strictly for personal use)? The situation seems somewhat paradoxical – I can’t imagine Adobe simply giving these fonts away, yet I also can’t imagine them expecting people to hunt the fonts down and delete them independently once the trial period runs out. (Obviously they hope people will buy the full product, but unfortunately that proved not to be an option for me at the moment.) I didn't see anything about this in the initial terms and conditions when installing the trial package and cannot find any official stance on this in the documentation, so unless I missed something, it would seem that Adobe has no ground to ask people to manually remove the fonts in this situation. I would appreciate your advice.

Adobe is not giving those fonts away.
If you decide not to purchase a license to an Adobe product after installing and using the trial, you have no legal right to use the font after the trial period is over.
Yes, the removal of those fonts was not accounted for but that doesn't change their legal status.
Unfortunately, there are two problems associated with killing the ability to use the fonts after the trial period is over:
(1)     We don't automatically uninstall the software after the trial period is over. We simply don't let you run it via the activation mechanism which blocks the execution. However, fonts are not involved in the activation mechanism (at least not currently) and as such, when the trial is over, the fonts are still installed and accessible by other programs. We would need to get the fonts into the activation mechanism somehow to be able to control their use when either a trial is over or the software is otherwise uninstalled!
(2)     Currently, the Adobe fonts are installed into the system fonts directory. We would need to be careful to keep track of whether the user already had licenses to such fonts prior to installing a trial of Adobe software and not mucking with their status afterwards.

We are running Portal 3.0.9 and want to customizae the form that Portal gives you
to enter the report parameters. For example, after you register a report with
portal and want to run it, a parameter form comes up with the List Of Values for
that report as wellas the other required parameters for running the report. The
only trouble with the parameter form that they give you is that there is no way to
organizae the ordering of the parameters nor is there any way to present a user
with a better description (even an example of deisred input) of the values they
should enter. We thought that by looking at the procedure that builds this
parameter form, we might find clues to customizing how the parameter form is
presented to the user.
We are thinking that we will need to run all of our reports from a Form developed
in Forms 6i, but since we have 125+ reports that would need to be run from a form,
we want to explore all our options first.
On a side note - does anyone know how you can run reports from forms (developed in
Forms 6i) so that the report will show up in the reports server queue manager (ie
the rw_server_queue table)? We have developed forms which run reports, but it
seems from Oracles's documentation that Forms simply calls the local reports
runtime (possibly rwrun60.exe??) and so the job never makes it to the queue.
