Can I subscribe to iTunes like Rhapsody/Napster?

First post here.
I'm not satisfied with the 30 second sample we are able to get for free before buying a song.
Is there anyway to do a monthly subscription to iTunes where I can listen to the FULL version of any song I want and then pay for any downloads like Rhapsody and Napster offer.
Thanks folks

That's not available. Sorry.
The only subscription available are podcasts.

    I do not own a computer. I bought an iPad. ALL my music is stored on it. How can I subscribe to iTunes Match?

    If you are in the US then your iTunes purchased music should be in the cloud for redownloading in the Purchased tab in the iTunes store app - but music can be removed from the store at any point by the record companies (and similarly for other content types as well), so you shouldn't rely on being able to redownload it in the future.
    Do you have access to a computer e.g. a friend or family member that you could use ?

    How can I subscribe to itunes Match redeeming from itunes card instead of using credit card?

    Do you have another device (eg a computer) that also contains your music? If so, yes, you can turn off iTunes match and sync everything with a cable. Do you tend to buy new music from downloads or ripping CDs? If downloads, you can turn on "download purchases automatically" on the phone to make them available to you there, once you've cable-synced your current library. If CDs, you would have to manually sync with cable (or over local wifi) each time you add a new CD.

  • HT204146 How can I subscribe to iTunes Match and have all of my 7,000+ songs on my iPhone?

    I bought a 128GB iPhone so I would have room for all my music. Now it's not actually there because I subscribe to iTunes Match. I don't want to have to download it over wifi/cell to listen to it. Should I just unsubscribe from iTunes Match? I don't use if very often.

  • Can manually subscribe in iTunes but not submit to store

    The following feed validates ok, I can subscribe from other readers and I can manually subscribe to it from iTunes. However I cannot submit it to the iTunes store. Keeps saying there is a technical difficulty but doesn't return any [useful] error codes etc. How do I work out what's going wrong with iTunes?
    http://feeds.feedburner.com/scsmmedia/eLog/Low

    As far as I can see your feed is OK, with one possible exception. The declaration at the top reads:
    <rss xmlns:feedburner="http://rssnamespace.org/feedburner/ext/1.0" version="2.0">
    This may contain the necessary information (as you can subscribe manually it may well do so) but normally you would include the itunes declaration so that it would read:
    <rss xmlns:feedburner="http://rssnamespace.org/feedburner/ext/1.0" version="2.0"
    xmlns:itunes="http://www.itunes.com/dtds/podcast-1.0.dtd" version="2.0">
    In any case, someone else is complaining of the same thing; I can only guess that there is a problem at the Store end. We've seen this before, with people finding they can't submit for some days. There probably isn't really anything you can do except just keep trying.

  • How can I subscribe to itunes match?

    When I touch On the Itunes Match it appears did not match I cant subscribe!

    You have to subscribe to iTunes Match on your computer in iTunes. You can't subscribe from an iOS device.

  • HT201302 Why can't subscribe to iTunes Match ?

    Not enough memory to update to ios7 so bought extra storage on the cloud to transfer my music &amp; free up some space. When I click on "iTunes match" to transfer it, the screen won't display properly (looks like a word doc from 1976)! I've repeatedly clicked on subscribe but nothing happens

    You can, but since iTunes Match is a subscription service you must also have a permanent form of payment associated with your account. A credit card is required.

    My IPad is disabled with a passcode on it and I can not connect to ITunes like it is telling me in order to reset it.  How do I get back into the IPad to fix this problem?  Also, I don't remember the passcode.  It is from my IPad 1 and I am trying to fix it for games for my 5 year old son.

    Saw this solution on another post about an iPad in a school enviroment. Might work on your iPad so you won't lose everything.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    ‘iPad is disabled’ fix without resetting using iTunes
    Today I met my match with an iPad that had a passcode entered too many times, resulting in it displaying the message ‘iPad is disabled – Connect to iTunes’. This was a student iPad and since they use Notability for most of their work there was a chance that her files were not all backed up to the cloud. I really wanted to just re-activate the iPad instead of totally resetting it back to our default image.
    I reached out to my PLN on Twitter and had some help from a few people through retweets and a couple of clarification tweets. I love that so many are willing to help out so quickly. Through this I also learned that I look like Lt. Riker from Star Trek (thanks @FillineMachine).
    Through some trial and error (and a little sheer luck), I was able to reactivate the iPad without loosing any data. Note, this will only work on the computer it last synced with. Here’s how:
    1. Configurator is useless in reactivating a locked iPad. You will only be able to completely reformat the iPad using Configurator. If that’s ok with you, go for it – otherwise don’t waste your time trying to figure it out.
    2. Open iTunes with the iPad disconnected.
    3. Connect the iPad to the computer and wait for it to show up in the devices section in iTunes.
    4. Click on the iPad name when it appears and you will be given the option to restore a backup or setup as a new iPad (since it is locked).
    5. Click ‘Setup as new iPad’ and then click restore.
    6. The iPad will start backing up before it does the full restore and sync. CANCEL THE BACKUP IMMEDIATELY. You do this by clicking the small x in the status window in iTunes.
    7. When the backup cancels, it immediately starts syncing – cancel this as well using the same small x in the iTunes status window.
    8. The first stage in the restore process unlocks the iPad, you are basically just cancelling out the restore process as soon as it reactivates the iPad.
    If done correctly, you will experience no data loss and the result will be a reactivated iPad. I have now tried this with about 5 iPads that were locked identically by students and each time it worked like a charm.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Try it and good luck. You have nothing more to lose if it doesn't work for you.
     Cheers, Tom

  • Subscribe to iTunes Match

    i live in India and i want to subscribe to itunes Match. So can i go to the US Store and enter my Credit Card details to subscribe to the service?? Does it need an original address associated with the Credit Card??

    No. You can only subscribe to iTunes Match from your "home" store.

  • I can't subscribe to Match on Win 7 with iTunes 10.6.3.25. When Apple ID auth window comes up iTunes crashes with "iTunes stopped working" and iTunes closes.

    On Windows 7 with iTunes 10.6.3.25 I cannot subscribe to iTunes Match. In iTunes I click on iTunes Match in the left pane then click the "Subscribe for $25 a year" button. A window that looks like I am going to be asked to login using my Apple ID and password starts to come up but then an error occurs and I get a window that says "iTunes stopped working" then iTunes closes. What can I do ?

    I've also read somewhere about using Win Rar to extract files to do with apple mobile device support from the itunes installer file, would you recommend that to? I don't really fancy the idea of doing anything that involves my registry because knowing me I'll end up screwing my laptop up for good lol
    It's a little more involved than just doing a standalone AppleMobileDeviceSupport64.msi install, I'm afraid. The relevant drivers in AMDS are not digitally signed for 64-bit XP, so you have to force XP to accept a driver install that it would try its damnedest to not do. There's no driver issues for other 64-bit componentry in the installer package (I think the GEAR drivers install on XP 64-bit systems), but I believe there's still a bit of fancy footwork involved in getting them installed too ... although it's been a long time since I've looked at an instruction set, and I might not be recalling those things correctly. (So if you're not comfortable with system modifications, it might be best to steer clear of the Orca-based techniques ...)

    I subscribed to iTunes Match and would like to sync my music on multiples devices that have different Apple IDs within the same iCloud family.
    Can someone indicate the way to proceed?
    Thanks.

    Hi,
    You can't use family sharing or multiple Apple IDs with iTunes match.
    ITunes match is only attached to Apple id that you used to subscribe.

  • HT4914 Do you need to purchase more than the basic 5 Gigs of free iCloud storage if you have more than 5 Gigs of all data that can be stored on iCloud if you subscribe to iTunes Match?

    I purchased an additional 10 Gigs of iCloud storage in 2012 for my iPhone 4S and iPad (3rd Gen Wi-Fi) for $20 per year through my iPhone carrier AT&amp;T using IOS 4.3 which has been kept updated to IOS 6.13. In 2012 I purchased an iPad 3rd Generation with Wi-Fi only and at the end of my one year 10 gig upgrade I noticed that I had not used any of the additional 10 gigs and was not going to renew the additional storage. However, I decided to move all of my MP3 music library and copy my remaining CD collection of music (a couple hundred CD's) to my Windows Computer Hard Drive so that I could keep them safe.
    As I started purchasing new Albums from iTunes I decided to allow iTunes to store all my music in case my Hard Drive crashed. I did not purchase iTunes Match but all of my collections appear to be stored on iTunes as the storage cloud appears on my Apple devices which use the same Apple ID. A week ago I purchased another iPad (4th Generation Wi-Fi only) so my wife and I could use them at the same time. I kept everything under the same Apple ID because I use a lot of music creation apps like AmpliTube, Drum machines, Guitar Pro etc for creating music as well as Photo Apps for my Photography hobby and I wanted access to the apps regardless of which device was handy (including connecting the 2 iPads together for music looping and more).
    I still don't see any of the additional Ten gigs used as less than 500 Meg's are backed up into memory from each of the three devices.
    QUESTION: What is the advantage of an iTunes Match subscription if my library of some 10K songs are already stored on iTunes and I have not yet exceeded the initial 5 gigs of free iCloud storage? I keep my library in MP3 format for convenience and convert my music library to between 192 and 320 Kbps. Given the choice should I cancel the additional iCloud storage and subscribe to iTunes Match. Is iTunes Match a replacement for purchasing additional iCloud Storage?
    Confused as to which service I need?

    Only 5gb free iCloud storage is available for one apple ID.
    As you said, 2 + 2.4 doesn't add up to 5gb
    These are all the things that gets saved on iCloud
    Photos and videos
    iOS backup
    Documents (from Pages, numbers, keynote, documents from other apps)
    Also email from @iCloud.com account
    if you go to [Settings > iCloud > Storage > Manage Storage], you can see this.
    This should show you what is taking up your iCloud storage.

  • I just subscribed to ITunes Match. I'm trying to connect my wife's phone. She has a different Apple ID. How can I connect her?

    I just subscribed to ITunes Match. I was able to connect my phone and Ipad but I cant't connect my wife's phone. She has a different Apple ID.

    The iCloud and iTunes Store account ID are not the same thing. They can be different although some folks, like myself, do have the same Apple ID for all the Apple services. Go to Settings > Store and enter the exact same iTunes Store account ID you used to purchase iTunes Match. Be aware you can only switch Apple IDs on an iOS device every 90 days.
