Can I swap I my modem and HH3 for 1 unit?

I was looking into swapping my HH3 and OR modem for a single unit and looking at swapping them both for a Draytek Vigor 2850

From my limited knowledge it looks like it "should" work - but can anyone confirm if it does, or not ?

Yes, you can use the same computer for BACK UPS, RESTORING AND UPDATING. But that is it.
You cannot, however, use it to sync the different devices. iTunes will only recognize one device to sync with and if you sync any other devices with that iTunes library, it will replace what is on the phone with whatever is in the library. It cannot differentiate between devices. At most, it will jsut recognize that the phone has been synced with a different iTunes library.
So if you would like to use the same computer for backing up, restoring and updating, just make sure to turn of Automatic Syncing in your iTunes Preferences.

Starts up like the first time you buy a new Mac, but after filling in all that info again, you should have access to the computer and the other Users & files will still be there... give the new User a different name than an existing one.

New to FiOS, can I use my own modem and router

I saw several questions similar to mine, but none that I saw answered my question for my scenario. I am sorry if this is a duplicate. I am new to FiOS. I have no other services from Verizon and do not plan to get any. No phone, no television, nothing. Just Internet. God willing, the installation will take place in two days. My house already has coaxial cabling. I have my own cable modem, a SURFboard SB6121, which goes to my router, a TP Link TL-WR941ND. None of my equipment advertises that it is FiOS compatible. I've seen other people asking about using their own modem and router, but in those cases the scenario involved other bundled services, and I understand a FiOS router is necessary to forward ports to television, phone, and computers. However, in my very simple scenario, can the Verizon optical network terminal simply feed its output to my coax, from there to my modem, then router, then comptuers? Is there any reason that wouldn't work? Verizon technical support just gave me a machine that wanted to help me troubleshoot my Internet connection, and I couldn't get from there to a human. Thanks in advance for the help!

Banish the word and the device called "modem" from your home when using FiOS. FiOS does not use modems. Your cable modem is useless with FiOS. Do not plug it in. FiOS uses routers. The router connects to the ONT's WAN port using MoCA (coax) or Ethernet. The installer will enable one of the ONT's WAN ports. If you order 150Mbps or higher speeds, they will have to use Ethernet. For slower speeds, coax is the default. Many installers will use Ethernet if you ask nicely, but usually only if it isn't too much work. Make sure it's easy to connect a router to the ONT using Ethernet, and you should be okay. If Ethernet needs to be run through the walls, your best choice is get it done ahead of time. You can always call later and get the ONT's WAN port switched. The only routers available with a MoCA WAN port are the Verizon models. The Verizon routers are good devices for most users. People who like to tweak their networking gear don't like them as many advanced features are limited or locked down. You can't run any other router firmware on them. WiFi range is decent, but not great. I'm quite happy with my Quantum router. YMMV. If you get Ethernet WAN enabled, you can use any router you want. However, know that Verizon provides zero support for any other router. They won't even mention it as an option. That doesn't mean you can't use one, simply that you must do so without Verizon's help. There are reports that they won't even complete an install without one of their routers to verify service. If you don't use one of their routers, consider renting one for a month to complete the install or even buying a used one. If you own a Verizon router, you can install it if you ever suspect Verizon networking issues. This will allow you to call their support. I got a requirement, in which I hv to develop a report for the Open quantities for sales order items. fine.
I ssue is that, in the report I hv to show at Schedule line level i.e. VBEP.
So, by pulling the records from VBEP depending on the seldction criteria, I hv to pull the MATCHING record from VBFA for Post Goods Issue.
Then, I hv to implememnt the follwoing formula,
Open Quantity = VBEP, say Schedule line 1 quantity -(mnus) first saved corresponding Order, Item Quantitity-RFMNG in VBFA for PGI type
As we know, VBEP is at Schedule line lvel, where as VBFA is ITEM level!!
So, pls. let me know that,
1 - Is really, we can develop the MATCH btwn VBEP and VBFA tbls, I mean, always, the data will be correctly pulled?
2 - If so, Is the folllwoing statement is OK?
LOOP AT IT_VBFA WHERE VBELV = IT_VBEP-VBELN and POSNV = IT_VBEP-POSNR and ERDAT LE IT_VBEP-MBDAT

No, there is no solution - search these forums if you like for similar posts. Without knowing the registered owners password there is no way to disable Activation Lock. Apple will not give you that password, nor reset it for you, nor give you any personal information about the registered owner.
If you cannot contact that original owner, or they refuse to help you, then you now own a brick. If you can, go back to the seller and get your money back. It is reasonably likely though, that they did not actually own the device to sell it in the first place.

How can I save a named filter and sorting for later use?

I regularly do several different complex filtering and sorting on large tables. I did not find a way to save them for later one-click reuse. So I always have to do it again, which is time-consuming and error-prone. Hoped to get a solution by AppleScript, but filter and sort is not accessible by scripting.
Is there a way or does Apple have it on it´s agenda for future versions of Numbers?

filter and sort is not accessible by scripting.
There is some support for sort (and less for filter) in Numbers 3.
Table has a filtered property.
And you can sort.
A sort example can be found at https://iworkautomation.com/numbers/table-sort.html.
Not sure if this will be sufficient to handle your needs, but just wanted to point out there is some scripting support.

Why can't I get Keynotes Pages and Numbers for free after OS Mavericks 10.9.1 Upgrade?

I bought my Macbook Air a few days ago with the OS X Mavericks 10.9.1 update software already installed on my laptop. I'm suppose to get Keynotes, Pages, and Numbers for free under purchases in my app store but unfortunately I haven't seen any of those programs come as a purchase in my store. I've downloaded the OS Mavericks 10.9.1 software three times already and restarted my computer to see if they come in the mac store but nothing happened. I've also applied for the Up to Date program and they said they would contact me in 24 hours but it has been three days and I still haven't got a reply from them.
