Can I sync my iPhone messages to MacPro?
I have a text conversation on my iPhone5 which I would like to be able to sync to my MacBook Pro, or to be able to save the conversation (with dates) somewhere, not just the text of the messages, but the whole conversation in a transferable or printable form. I do not see Messages on the iCloud.

This is a yes and no answer.
In Mountain Lion you have Messages.
It has an iMessage component - in fact when you start it up for the first time you are encouraged to add an Apple ID to create or register and iMessages account.
The same Apple ID can then be used in Messages on the iPhone.
Depending which way round you set this up the original will get a pop up saying the other device(s) is using the Apple ID and the iPhone Number.
Accepting the pop add the relevant "Aliases" to the Receive and Send parts of the individual apps.
When you have created this "Start Point" then iMessages sent to your iPhone or to the Apple ID will be synced to the Mac version.
The same is true of iMessages sent to the Mac (actually people are sending to you as identified by both iPhone Number and Apple ID) and these sync in the other direction to the iPhone.
Messages (SMS) from non iPhone devices will not be synced to the Mac.
Messages prior to the Start Point also will not be synced.
The Mac version has a Save on Closing to store Conversation (iMessages) and Chats (Buddy list as per iChat)
These will reappear like they are chats when you call them up.
They are stored in the .ichat format.
I have not found a way to export the iPhone Messages that have not been deleted.
(You can highlight a whole conversation and then "send" it to your Apple ID but it will show as one long text extract with no indication about who said what and lacks even basics like the bubbles to separate things)

I can't sync my iPhone movies. I have 3 movies but now I am getting an error message that says some of the items in the iTunes library were not copied becuase they could not be found. Two of the movies are from the iTunes store and one is froma movie recently purchased.
Had the same issue, found a solution.
The iTunes Store open in my iTunes was U.S. and the apps on my iPad are from Switzerland's store. So I went to iTunes Store in iTunes, then opened the App Store tab and at the bottom right of this tab clicked the round american Flag button. Changed to Switzerland, went to Store>Authorize this computer (which it did sucessfully) and after that syncronization worked great. Hope this helps -

Sorry it's hard to explain, I can't remember exactly what the message on my phone says, it's something like "your phone hasn't been backed up or sync in 4weeks" something like that, I think all my photos and documents aren't going to iCloud. And I don't have a data plan fir my computer cause I don't use it much, but I have a plan with a phone company that provides me with gigs and hotspot, so instead I'd having 2 accounts I just use hotspot to do everything else on my computer, but I think hotspot doesn't work as wi-fi does it? So in asking can I back up to iCloud using hotspot or would I have to pay for completely different wifi plan?

I can't sync my iphone 4s with my G5 anymore. This is the G5 with the old processor. The G5 now doesn't even recognize that I have plugged the iphone in to sync it. Instead, there is the following error message on the iphone: "This accessory may not be supported." I have already tried to reboot both the G5 and the iphone but there's no change. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
It's not possible to sync a device running iOS 7 with a PowerPC Mac, but you may be able to download content to it directly from the iTunes Store servers.

All of a sudden, I can't sync my IPhone with Outlook. The calendar on the phone is now blank.
Similar problem.
No problem with the imac G5 but tower Power PC allows only the initial sync (ie after erasing all contacts and events in my phone and reseting device in bluetooth syst pref and in isync).
For the following syncings I always get the same message.
[K800i] Connection to the phone failed.
Please make sure that your phone is turned on. If this error occurs again, please restart your phone.
Restarting my phone does not help.

The only control you have is that, if you're syncing Calendars in iTunes, you can specify how many days back you want to go (e.g. "Last 30 days")
Other than that, not really - you can do thing slike limit how meany messages Mail downloads, but that's not much help -

Hello again and sorry to bother you. I was hoping you could help me with iTunes 10.5. This update has been a pain. When I first installed it, my entire library was gone. Luckily, I saved the "iTunes Library" file before updating and copied it in place and my library appeared. But now the problem I'm having is that the iTunes can't find any of the "original" files, even though my iTunes Media file location has not changed (it's on an external network drive". When I click on the "Do you want to find the original file" I can find it in the appropriate folder. I checked the "Preferences" and under "Advanced" I re-mapped it to the appropriate location and already had the 2 boxes for iTunes organizing files checked. Then went to "File" and "Organize Library" and clicked the first check box and then got the "Copying Files" bar. When this was completed, I thought it would be able to find the original files. But I'm still getting the same error message about not being able to find the "original" files. Do you have any suggestions? Thanks again for your help.
