Can I sync my iPod nano directly with my ipad min?

Can I sync my iPod nano to my ipad mini with out a computer?

No......syncing requires a computer.  Backups can be done via iCloud.  What exactly are you trying to do?

    How is your iPod configured to sync content from your iTunes library? Any error messages during the sync process?
    You may want to reset warnings on the device by right->clicking on it under Devices and choosing Reset Warnings.  Then resync the iPod to see if any alerts appear.
    Is this the same computer you normally sync the Nano with?

    Can you sync an Ipod nano 5th generations with more than one computer.  One is a Dell with xp operating system and the other is an Mac laptop.

    It is possible to sync your iPod with multiple computers, but syncing with different platforms is not supported by Apple.  See this article for more details on how to get this set up.

    How can I sync my Microsoft Outlook tasks with my Ipad reminders? I dont want to use Icloud or an exchange

    Plug it into your computer. Tell it to sync with "this computer" instead of iCloud. You shouldn't have to remove any apps. Otherwise, you can save the app data by using i-FunBox ( http://www.i-funbox.com/ ) just go to the "devices" tab and select 'user applications' and select all of your apps and tell iFunBox to "copy to pc" you're done! You have them all backed up.

  • TS3988 How can I sync photos from my Iphone5 to my Ipad Mini???  Thanks!

    How can I sync phots from my Iphone5 to my Ipad Mini?? Thank you!

    Sign into the same iCloud account on both devices in Settings>iCloud and turn on photo stream.  After that new photos added to camera roll on either device will be added to photo stream when the camera app is closed, it's connected to wifi and has at least 20% battery life remaining.
    If you want to stream older photos from your phone to your iPad Mini, add them to a shared stream and invite yourself as a subscriber, as explained here: http://help.apple.com/icloud/#/mmc0cd7e99.

  • Can I sync my ipod nano with my second computer/ netbook while travelling?

    Looking for some advice on how to connect my IPod nano with my second computer while travelling. That's what happened: I have my iTunes library on my computer at home and can sync my IPod nano (6 th generation, replaced onyl recently) with that library. While I was travelling and wanted to use my IPod I received an error message asking me to connect the IPod with iTunes in order to recover/restore (sorry, the message apeared in German, so I do not know the exact wording in English) . As I only had my second computer - a small netbook - with me, I downloaded iTunes and connected the iPod - only to receive the message that this Ipod would sync with another computer (sure!) and would I want to sync it with this iTunes library instead now? (Of course not, I did not dare because that library was empty!). So there I was with my computer with iTunes library at home and an iPod stuck in recovery mode and not doing a thing during my vacation. Any suggestions? If I have to take my great big workstation with me to get the iPod running again, I might just as well leave the iPod immobile at home. (;-)

    On your home computer connect your Nano, click on the name in iTunes, move right to the Summary tab then tick the box that says Manually Manage Music. You will now have to er, manually drag your music to your iPod, and manually eject it when done, but you will be able to add music from two different computers.

  • Can i sync an ipod nano with my ipad

    Hi
    Want to buy a new ipod nano bot my old 15 inch Powerbook is way out of spec, so was wondering whether I can syn the new iPad nano version 7 with iPad V3
    Thanks

    No. You can't sync an iPod with an iPad. You can download much of your purchased content again for free (if you use the same Apple ID) - not sure exactly what the Nano can hold other than music. But you can read about downloading past purchases here.

  • Can't sync my Ipod nano-2nd generation

    I have a 2nd generation Ipod Nano.  My original cable that I received with my Nano stopped working.  So I recently purchased another cable from Quill, an office supply company that sells Apple products.  Now I can charge my Nano, but cannot sync my Ipod to Itunes.  I usually sync to my Windows 7 pc at work, and charge my Ipod on my home pc running under Windows XP (still).
    Should I go and purchase another cable from the Apple Store directly?  Or can someone tell me a tip on using the current, recently purchased cable?

    Hi, Zane,
         I did get my Ipod nano to sync to my Itunes, but using my new Apple cable from the office supply store.  Here's how:  first, I uninstall and reinstall my Itunes software with Ipod still plugged in thru the new cable to the pc (I was on my Win 7 one), and second, pressed the menu and center button together to reset my Ipod.  That's all it took to get Itunes to start syncing with my Ipod nano.
         Thought I'd mention it here so others can see how I got it to work.

  • How can i sync my ipod nano to my itunes library on my toshiba tablet...it has a usb

  • I can't sync my ipod nano, 6th generation! :(

    Hi there!
    I'm new to this community, but I've used apple for a long time. I recently bought a "new-ish" ipod nano off of Amazon. Its in great condition but I can't sync my library or specific playlist to it. It says a folder is missing. Also the manual suggest a usb 2.0 port, is that necessary for the nano? I only have regular usb ports.
    I've been without an ipod for some time and I was really excited to have my music with me no matter where I went, and I find myself discouraged.
    Help?
    -Ken

    I haven't reinstalled from scratch because I'm scared of losing all of my music (have about 8.2 days worth -- most CD's, a lot bought on iTunes).
    As for the ports, are the 2.0 ports required for syncronization?
    I noticed that my computer will only recognize the ipod in a drive after the initial plug in, then the computer no longer recognizes it, but iTunes sees it. I feel like it won't sync because the computer doesn't recognize it at all. The ipod charges from the computer, but like I said, reading it isn't consistent.
    ~~~~~~
    I used to own an old 30gb ipod classic that I got back in 2007. I lost it somehow over the summer. I've had the same computer through this time, and it would charge that ipod perfectly, sync it perfectly, everything was beautiful. Nothing has changed but the ipod and the generation.
    Is that really all it needs to make the difference?
    Thanks again!
    Ken
