Can I sync my old phone with a new phone?

My old iPhone (3GS) is synced to a pc I no longer have access to. Also, it's not in service (it's one I had in the USA and have since moved to the UK.)
I want to be able to keep my songs/data from my old phone and use them on a new phone (4GS) and service Can this be done?

But, when I connect my old iPhone into a new PC is asks if I want to connect it to iTunes it would need to erase the current data on the phone. I don't havce access to my old PC that holds all of the songs/data that would go on to the new phone. I want to get a new phone, I just don't want to lose my old data.

1) ensure iTunes is authorized for your iTunes store account(s)
2) connect your device and right-click or control-click it in the iTunes Source list, then choose transfer purchases from the shortcut menu that appears.
3) sync the device
iTunes will wipe the iPad but, since you transferred your purchases in the previous step, your content will be in your library and you can re-populate the iPad with it.

Syncing an old iphone with a new itunes

I recently purchased a new computer and I want to sync my old iphone with my new computer. Is there anyway I can take all of the data off of my phone and put it on my new itunes?
I have no way of retrieving the data off of my old computer so backing up the itunes on it would be impossible.
Also, 99.9% of my music has not been purchased through iTunes. I tried transferring my purchases from my phone to the new iphone but only a 3 songs transferred and only a couple of apps did too.

And you have no backup? Ugh.
There might be a program out there (can't remember the name) that allows you to move your music back to iTunes. You'll have to google that.
As far as any photos, those will be lost. When you sync photos to the iPhone it doesn't sync the actual jpeg, but rather a VERY low resolution thumb nail.

You don't.
If you do not have your contacts, then you cannot sync your contacts.
You should ALWAYS maintain a backup copy of your computer.

I read the link you send me and thanks, but the thing is that I still can't get into my Adobe Id, because when I try they ask me to reset my password in an email they will send me to my old account and there is the problem, because I don't have acces to that old acount, [email protected]
now this is my new email, because the las one it was hacked and I just can't get back to it.
So I would like to have access to my account and update this new email account, to have acces to my CC account.

I suspect unless he had some items in iCloud backup then they are gone. Connecting an iPhone to a different library from that to which it was previously connected will result in the device asking if you want to erase it.

2. Select Store->Sign Out

I'm having trouble syncing my iPod touch with my new Macbook Air and I don't know what to do. I've managed to get all my music and films etc. off my old iTunes library but when I plug my iPod into the computer, it doesn't come up with the typical 'erase/replace or transfer' message that you get when you plug it into other computers. Someone please help because it is driving me insane. The iPod was originally synced with a Windows computer and I think this might be what is causing my problem but I really need help fixing it. I used to sync my iPhone 4 with a PC running Windows XP until the hard drive died. Thankfully, I already had a backup of all my iTunes media (Songs, TV Shows, Movies, Podcasts, Apps, etc), so when I bought a new MacBook Pro, transferring my iTunes library was easy.
My problem now is that I want to sync my iPhone 4 with my new MacBook Pro without losing all the data and settings. I have already used iTunes to back it up and transfered my purchases onto the mac. I just need help to sync the iPhone with the Mac without losing app data, emails, contacts, settings.
Everytime I click on the tabs (to sync contacts, apps, music, et al), I get an error message that reads:
"Are you sure you want to sync apps? All existing apps and their data on the iPhone “Ryan's iPhone” will be replaced with apps from this iTunes library."
What do I do? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I just recently installed an SSD on my PC and I want to run iTunes off of the SSD. My library currently resides on my old HDD witch also has the most current version of iTunes on as well. How can I sync the library that resides on my old HDD to the new install of iTunes on my SSD?

can't if you do not have access to the old library (the usual workaround is to backup the old library and import it to the new itunes)
for important data...
sync your existing contacts with icloud, your text messages will not be disrupted, music will sync with whatever music you have on your new itunes, photos shoud still be in the camera roll (I would sync them to photostream before you sync, just in case). Any photos on your phone that are not in camera roll or photostream... if you lost those pictures with the computer crash I would take screen shots (lock button + home button at the same time) of each photo so they show up in the camera roll. App data may or may not be lost. In my experience, it depends on the app. Some of the apps recognize your apple ID and sync data over the internet with servers, some do not. I would take note of important data (such as passwords in a password keeper if you have such an app) just in case if you lose that data.
