Can I sync my Palm Destop to the new iPod Touch coming out this month?

I have my calendar and all my contacts on Palm Desktop and I want to start using my new iPod touch (preordered) when I receive it in place of my Palm. Can I transfer the data from the Palm Desktop to the iPod Touch? If so, can I continue to enter appointments on the Palm Desktop if necessary and sync with the new iPod Touch?

    Very well, indeed it's true according to information found on google search. The hardware capability for FM radio does exists in some models—the current iPod touch and iPhone 3GS have FM transmitters, and the 2nd-gen iPod touch also has a chip that's capable of receiving FM signals, though it uses it for Nike+ stuff (so if there is a radio app, maybe it'll just be for current-gen models). The third-generation, 32GB and 64GB iPod touch models have a Broadcom chip that supports FM transmitting, though no talk has emerged of implementing that technique.

The version 2.0 of the Rhapsody application latest update, lets subscribers download their favorite Rhapsody playlists to their iPhone, iPod touch or iPad so they can listen anytime -- even when they're not connected to the Internet.     Yeah seems so! Folks always looking for the next version! There isn't really much more than can do with the iPod other than maybe add a camera and a built in speaker. It would be a ***** if they added a better camera than you can get on the new iPhone G3. LOL No such luck!
    I would like to see a 60/64gb version though.. but I don't them flash memory is available yet in that size and if it was or is would it be priced so that Apple could actually create an iPod at the right pricing point that it would sell.

    The 16GB 4th generation is only $50 less than the 32GB.  It is still available, by the way.  Even the 4th generation does not have anything smaller than 16GB.

    If you do not have your contacts, then you cannot sync your contacts.
    You should ALWAYS maintain a backup copy of your computer.
