Will I be able to retrieve photos on my old 3G iPhone that was originally synced to an old HP computer that has since died if I try to sync it to my new iMac? All I want to do is save the photos on the 3G iPhone.
Are these photos in your camera roll or were they synced to your 3G? Makes a big difference. If in your camera roll, you can use either iPhoto or Image capture to import them to your Mac. If they were synced to your 3G, you'll have to use third-party software to extract them:

Apple makes no provision to extract synced photos from an iOS device. Bear in mind, they were reduced in resolution when synced to your phone, & there's no way to recover their full resolution.

Your email address (used as your Apple ID) does not matter, because iPods are not directly linked to a particular Apple ID.
NOTE: You can still use your old Apple ID, even if your that email address is no longer valid. As long as you remember your Apple ID password. Go here and click on Manage your Apple ID.

You can change the primary email address used by Apple, although the Apple ID remains the same.
Back to the iPod. iTunes syncing is generally in one direction only, from the computer's iTunes library to the iPod. You cannot use iTunes to transfer song files from iPod to computer, except for songs purchased from the iTunes Store. However, there are third-party methods and utilities that can transfer from iPod to computer. If you do an Internet search on something like "ipod transfer," you should get some links. (The CNET article seems to be popular.)
Once the song files are on your computer's drive, you can add them to your new iTunes library. After confirming everything is there, sync your iPod to that library. If there is any content purchased from the iTunes Store that uses DRM (copy protection), such as audiobooks, videos, and very old song purchases, iTunes may prompt you to authorize your computer with your Apple ID (the one you used to make the purchases). -

Your i-device was not designed for unique storage of your media. It is not a backup device and media transfer was designed for you maintaining a master copy of your media on a computer which is itself properly backed up against loss. Syncing is one way, computer to device, updating the device content to the content on the computer, not updating or restoring content on a computer. The exception is iTunes Store purchased content.

You can try what @imobl suggests, which addresses the legal aspects, but if the phone is locked with a passcode there is no way technologically to get content off the phone. The iPhone is a secure device, designed to be that way, so even if Apple was served with a court order to extract data from the phone they would be physically unable to. iPhones have 5 different ways to sync data from a phone; with any luck the owner used at least one of them:
Part of a backup to iTunes - there are apps that can extract data from an iTunes backup if it is not encrypted
Part of a backup to iCloud. The backup can be restored to another iOS device on the same Apple ID
Photo Stream, where photos are sent in near real time to other users
Sync photos via USB cable to a computer
Photo Sharing, a library in iCloud that can be shared with others - this is real time.
In addition, there are 3rd party products that an owner can use to save or share photos: Google Picasa, Shutterfly, dropbox, box.com, etc. -

If you don't know the sender, then it is most likely a scam or spam email. I get them every day - I just delete them. I also get daily notices from Facebook or someone called Adriana at Facebook even though i do not have an account there. Can't do anything about it - just delete it.

You'll likely need the assistance of some sort of 3rd party software. Keep in mind that the photos on your iPod are only scaled down thumbnail versions of the originals. So even if you do manage to copy them backt to your PC, they will not be in their full original resolution.
Do a simple Google search for "copy photos from ipod" and you should get a number of hits that can assist you.

If you mean spreadsheets from within the Numbers app on your iPad to your computer's iTunes then there are instructions here. If you mean that you want to copy the Numbers app from the iPad to your computer then you can copy it to your computer's iTunes via File > Transfer Purchases; but if you want to use Numbers on your Mac then you will need to buy the Mac OS X version.

Opening in the sidebar is the default for bookmarks that are created via a link or button on a website.
You can check the properties of a bookmark via the right-click context menu in the sidebar (Ctrl+B; Command+B on Mac).
In the Bookmarks Manager (Bookmarks > Show All Bookmarks) you can click the More button in the Details pane at the bottom right.
Make sure that "Load this bookmark in the sidebar" is not selected. -
phone 4 just turned itself off, won't turn on again - sleep/wake button hasn't worked for a while - tried charging (even though it was 50% charged when it shut down) and that makes no difference....either via usb to computer and direct to wall socket. Well, the sleep/wake button is also the power button. If you cannot use it to turn on, then you cannot use it to perform a reset by holding it and the home button together until you see the Apple logo.Those are the only two ways to turn the device on. You can try letting the battery go completely dead and then trying to plug it in. After it has charged for 20-30 minutes, the device may come back on. But, without the sleep/wake button, there is no other way to turn the device on or off.

How can I sync playlists from my iphone to a new computer?
I have a new Macbook Pro. I transfered the content of my itunes folder from my previous laptop to the new machine but playlists did not transfer. Now I have my playlists on my iphone but want to sync to new computer but Itunes warns me that if I sync my data on the phone will be replaced by the data on my computer, which I do not want to happen because then i would lose my playlists. I have just transferred my iTunes library from PC to new MacBook Pro and I have an inkling that you may not have copied over your iTunes library files properly from your old library. If you copy over your old library files properly (iTunes library and xml library file- found in iTunes folder on computer)then it should re-create all of your old playlists, ratings etc on new machine.There are lots of postings on this support forum and internet about transferring iTunes library to new computer, may help if you give a bit more detail about how you copied over library in first place and then work from there. -

Basically you can't figure it out because there is no way to get published pages back into iWeb. iWeb lacks of any html import feature. The only thing you can do is rebuild it by copying and pasting content from the published one to the rebuilt in iWeb. However for photopages that isn't a good idea, it's better to rebuild them from scratch (iPhoto).
Be sure to make a backup of the domain.sites2 file (where iWeb stores) its files from time to time
