Can I sync settings across multiple Adobe ID's?

I have a work Creative Cloud account, and a home Creative Cloud account. Is there a way for the settings I use at home to sync to my computer at work, even though my work computer authorizes the apps via a different Adobe ID? I understand how it works if I sign in via the same Adobe ID on both computers, but currently that is not possible under the "one primary, one backup" Adobe policy. Thoughts?

UPDATE:
It is possible in AE CCbut I can't figure out how to do this in Photoshop CC.

  • Can I sync settings with multiple accounts?

I just got Creative Cloud for Teams at work, and I have to sign in to it using my work email address. If I ever leave this job and get CC for myself, or I start at another company, I won't have access to that account any more, nor will I have access to my old work computer. How can I carry over to a new account all my settings from the CC apps that support Sync Settings?

The short answer I received from Adobe was to log in at home using my work account info, open the programs, then log out and back in with my home credentials and save my settings. I was a little worried that would be a violation of some policy, they they assured me it was not, at least in my case. Here's the script:

    RICHARD VALENTINE: Hi Rajesh.
Rajesh Joshi: Hello. Welcome to Adobe Technical Support.
Rajesh Joshi: How are you doing today?
RICHARD VALENTINE: I'm doing well. Thank you.
Rajesh Joshi: So how may i assist you today?
RICHARD VALENTINE: I utilize Adobe CC at work as a Team Member, and also at home (personal account). Is there any way to sync my workspaces automatically? I know Adobe Premiere CC has an option for this when syncing, but I don't see this option on any other CC product. Thanks!
Rajesh Joshi: So are you looking to Sync the files that you have?
RICHARD VALENTINE: I need to sync my workspaces from work, with my home computer, but they are two different CC accounts.
RICHARD VALENTINE: My work computer is an Adobe Teams account, my home computer is my private adobe CC members account.
Rajesh Joshi: May i know about both the cc accounts?
RICHARD VALENTINE: my work account is registered to [email protected]
RICHARD VALENTINE: My home account is registered to [email protected]
Rajesh Joshi: Ok so you have two different CC account, one is team and one is admin and you want to sync the files between them.
    Rajesh Joshi: Is that correct?
    RICHARD VALENTINE: Yes.
Rajesh Joshi: Please allow me a moment while I look into your account & verify the details.
    RICHARD VALENTINE: Thank you.
    Rajesh Joshi: Your welcome
RICHARD VALENTINE: I was thinking I could log in at home with my work ID, and import the settings, then log out and back in with my personal account and save the workspaces and settings, though I wanted to make sure I am not violating any Adobe CC policies by doing that.
Rajesh Joshi: Richard you can use your team account on two machines and its under the adobe policies.
    RICHARD VALENTINE: Awesome. Thank you!
Rajesh Joshi: Your welcome, so it seems that you have got the answer for the question that you had.
    RICHARD VALENTINE: Yes.. Thank you!
Rajesh Joshi: So anything else i may assist you with?
RICHARD VALENTINE: That's all. Thank you.

  • Photoshop CC 2014.2.1 can't sync settings with Creative Cloud

    Good day,
Photoshop CC 2014.2.1 can't sync settings with Creative Cloud for some reason. I'm signed in, no firewalls, the router is fine. Other apps, Premiere Pro for example, sync without issues.
Photoshop keeps saying "Connecting to Creative Cloud..." with uploads starting, but nothing is happening. I've left it in this state for an hour just in case. Is there a workaround or a fix?

For what it's worth I have access to a second computer with the correct sync settings (which I synced to the Cloud, so the Cloud should now have my desired sync settings), but PS on my first computer still refuses to show anyway to apply these settings.
I'm downloading the 2014 release now but it shouldn't really be necessary. This is so frustrating, especially when the Adobe PS sync help page only applies to the 2014 release (I can't find any sync help for the previous versions anymore).

  • Sync data across multiple clients

I am create an application in flex that pulls and pushes data to a MySQL database.  This program will have multiple clients logged in at the same time.  I am wondering what the best way to ensure that the data is accurately updated across all of the clients would be.

Can you explain what you mean exactly by sockets?
Is there any way to Sync data across multiple clients without the crazy expensive cost of LCDS?

Using home sharing, can you sync libraries between multiple users in a household?

    Hey lindsay146,
Home Sharing lets you to stream or transfer music, movies, and more with up to five authorized computers in your household. You can learn more about it in this link:

  • Photoshop CC can't sync settings

I'm logged into the CC desktop app fine. In Photoshop under help, I see that I'm signed in. But under preferences/sync settings, it says I am not signed in and can't sync.
I tried deleting the file in the thread below, signed out and into the desktop app, and signed out and back in in Photoshop. Restarted. Nothing worked.
    http://forums.adobe.com/message/6029393
This setting is fine in Illustrator and InDesign.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks!

I went into the help menu and signed out of PSCC 2014, and then signed right back into it and it was available for me to save my settings. This worked for me - Hope it works for anyone who finds this post.

  • PS v14.2.1 - Can't sync settings from cloud

I recently had to do a clean install of Windows 7 (x64) and reinstall all of my CC apps. I'm using PS version 14.2.1 which is the same version I was using prior to the Windows install, and for which I had synced many settings). For some reason there's no option to obtain my sync info from the cloud, and I'll be damned if I have to go through the whole process again, as I recently had to do with Illustrator 17.1.0
Does anyone know how I get the settings from the cloud and into Photoshop?
    Any help much appreciated.

For what it's worth I have access to a second computer with the correct sync settings (which I synced to the Cloud, so the Cloud should now have my desired sync settings), but PS on my first computer still refuses to show anyway to apply these settings.

  • Sync Thunderbird across multiple devices

Can anyone tell me how to sync my Thunderbird email accounts across multiple devices?  I've got this weird situation where incoming emails are showing up on one device but not another, and the contents of the inboxes are different across iMac; Macbook; iPad and iPhone.  I'm using IMAP  but just can't get the inboxes to look the same across each device.  I use this account for work so it's very frustrating.

I have the same setup here for me any my wife. We each have a separate apple ID used for iCloud (but share one ID for iTunes).
We each have personal calendars but we also have a shared one (named shared). On icloud.com we have that calendar shared where we can each add/edit the events. And it is shared accross our iPad and iPhones.

  • How to sync settings across a team?

Our shop has a team creative cloud membership. I can't seem to get the sync settings feature to work.
The computers I'm trying this on are all PCs (mixed windows 7 and 8) and the Individual team members are signed in. (These are seperate logins that are part of a single team.)
In particular, I'm trying to sync up Illustrator (CC ver. 17) workspaces and swatches. I click "Sync Setings Now" in the preferences panel, it seems to "think" for a couple seconds. After that I check the workspaces on the individual computers and none of them have any work spaces from any other computers.
I'm not the team administrator; I don't know if that matters or not.

Thanks Steve. I figured that was probably the case once I saw the promo video that specifically mentions team-syncing capability for the Adobe web-oriented programs. That's disapointing for sure. So far it appears as though the only real advantage to a team subscription for a standard printing company like us is consolidated billing.
As for the export/import method, does anyone know if there is one location that should be used as a master?
    I'm seeing 2:
    C/Program Files/Adobe/Adobe Ilustrator CC (64 Bit)/Presets/en US
    C/Users/-user-/AppData/Roaming/Adobe/Adobe Ilustrator 17 Settings/en US/x64

  • Syncing ical across multiple computers without .mac

    Hi,
Is it possible to sync ical calendars across multiple computers in the same network or over the internet without .Mac? If I have a website or ftp server, can I use that instead to synce over the internet or is there an easier way? Thanks.

    This is another related question.
Having at last extracted a decade of diaries from Palm Desktop as vCal (since you ask I had to go back to Classic as the app quit without writing the export file in Tiger and Leopard, even tho it is otherwise OK) I now have something I can import rather messily into iCal.
However as I have really bad internet access in the Boondocks where I live I don't want to use .Mac to sync between my iMac and iBook. Palm ran very happily from a thumb drive, but I don't see how I can do it as the powers that be seem to have made the data file invisible.
I'd like to move it to the thumb drive and have an alias on each Mac where the data should be - as I do with Palm.
Does anyone know the path, and if there is a problem doing it between Tiger and Leopard?
    Cheers, Colin

  • Where do I find the "On My Mac" mailbox files and can I Sync them across computers?

I want to find out if I can sync them across computers and have the files show up on my desktop and my notebook.

Here's where mine seem to be:
    Macintosh HD > Users > (MyName) > Library > Mail > V2 > Mailboxes > (etc.)
Not sure if yours are there.  I haven't tried syncing them between computers with a program such as Chronosync but it may work.
    Maybe this helps.

  • Sync books across multiple iPads & accounts

    Hey everyone,
I've got what is probably not that an unusual question. My company has a resource of PDF documents we want to be able to sync across multiple iPads. It's ok with the ones we own as we control the accounts but we have staff with their own iPads who want access to the documents through iBooks. I know there are workarounds like e-mailing them or using dropbox but we're talking upwards of 100 documents. Is there a way to sync a library like that without deleting the books the preson has purchased?
    Thanks in advance

Interesting, never knew there was an iCloud website.  Ironically, it wouldn't open in Safari (just got a spinning progress wheel), but it opened up fine in Chrome.  :/
So, I logged into iCloud under my wife's Apple ID, clicked on the calendar icon, then clicked on those icons to the right of the two calendars shown (Home and Work), selected Private Calendar, and added my email address which is linked to my Apple ID. I hoped that would do the trick to allow me to see her calendar entries in iCal in my account, but it didn't.
Am I correct that the process outlined above should display my wife's entries onto my iCal calendar?  Or do I need to go view her calendar online somewhere instead of seeing the entries on my own iCal calendar?

  • How to sync mail app settings across multiple devices?

    Hi all,
I've been using an iPad Air for a while now, and I have multiple email accounts with various settings associated to them (Signatures etc.) on it. I just bought a new iphone 6, and I want all my mail settings and accounts exactly in my iphone as well. Is there any way to do that or will I have to manually configure email accounts?
    Regards,
    Hanit Banga

    Good day Hanit,
One way to do what you want would be to back up your iPad and restore that backup to your new iPhone. All of the mail accounts that exist in the iPad would become part of the iPhone. See this article -
Get help restoring from an iCloud backup - Apple Support
In particular the section titled Can I restore my iPhone or iPod touch using a backup made from my iPad?
Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.

  • How can I sync Bridge between multiple computers at work with keywords/collections/search?

We've been trying to find a digital asset management platform at work for a while now and I recently came across Bridge (we have the Creative Cloud). It's perfect! Except we're all on a bunch of different computers and would need to be able to search the same keywords/collections all from the same server (the photos are in many different folders though). Is there a way to be able to sync all keywords etc on multiple computers? Or if someone opens Bridge and can search right away without having to make all the keywords persistent by finding each photo and clicking on it? We're all on the same Creative Cloud team.

I actually did already create a book with all the files in it, but I couldn't figure out how that was helpful. The hyperlink panel doesn't seem to have any "book" options (unless I'm looking in the wrong place?) and just linking to the different files (after creating the book) didn't have any different results than linking to the files before I created the book.
I thought maybe linking to the different files in the book would work if I could export the whole book to pdf at once (which would be super-helpful in and of itself), but that doesn't seem to be an option either.
I guess what I'm asking is for you to elaborate on what to do after creating the book.
    Thanks!

  • How can I sync settings and programs between 2 user accounts on the same mac?

    Hi,
I have created 2 user accounts on my mac, one for personal, and one for work (but both for me). It's primarily for organization, keeping files separate, but also because I have two separate Dropbox accounts and only one can be installed per user. I want to know if there's a way to sync selected programs, files, and settings between the two accounts? Basically, I'd like to have the same programs and settings for both user accounts, and just different files.
I can't seem to find any info on this, but maybe I'm using the wrong terms!
    Thanks!

To give other users read-only access to your iTunes library, use the Sharing features of iTunes. Sharing works over the local network as well as on the same computer. See the built-in help for details.
To give others selective access to your iPhoto library, you have the option of using iCloud Photo Sharing, if the privacy implications don't bother you. The images will be stored temporarily on Apple servers.
If you want to give full read/write access to more than one user, see the support articles linked below.
iTunes: How to share music between different accounts on a single computer
iPhoto: Sharing libraries among multiple users
There is a way to share the library without moving it to a secondary volume. If you really need to do that, ask for instructions.
