Can i synch different music to my iphone and new ipad

Hi
new user and bit confused -
is it easily done to synch different music to my new ipad than that i have on my iphone - I have one user account name and one itunes library

With the iPad connected to your computer and selected on the left-hand side of your computer's iTunes, you can use the Music tab on the right-hand side of iTunes to specify which of your music to sync to it e.g. which albums, artists, playlists etc. ; you can then do similar with the iPhone. You can have different selections for each device, and iTunes will remember those selections the next time you connect the device.

So I have found a common denominator to this phenomenon. After having the same problem, I started to recopy my playlist of 500+ songs in groups of 10-20, 30+, 75+, and then over a 100+. Any music I have purchased from iTunes won't copy, but everything else did. Unsure if I made a playlist called "Purchased" at some point or this is an iTunes default, I also noticed it had some of the songs contained in my other playlist and was showing on my iPhone. Regardless of what I did such as dragging music from that playlist to the other and clearing songs from that playlist, I removed it altogether from the iPhone itself vs. doing through iTunes. After that, music copied fine to my playlist.
So, my theory is that iTunes is getting tripped up on purchased tracks already showing on the phone and all songs are showing grayed out/dotted circle because iTunes can't resolve the conflict with purchased tracks.
Hope this makes sense and is helpful.

    Hi RaulRod,
Are you pressing the Sync button to transfer music after connecting your iPhone or do you have the option checked to 'Automatically Sync when the iPhone is connected?'
Have you tried manually dragging and dropping music from your library into your phone?

    Hi,
With a single user activation license, you can install Acrobat on two machines.
If you want to install the software on third machine, then you might need to deactivate it from the old one.
If the hard disk has crashed, then please contact Adobe Customer Service as they would be able to help you out for the same.

    Hello:
You need to contact "epost."  The issue is not an Apple issue....the epost software needs, I assume, to be updated.

  • Sometimes my iphone has the music avalable but then its not there . I dont understand what to do.How can I get the music to my Iphone  and that it is there permanently

The funny thing now is that I play music on my Iphone and I cannot see it or stop it. I have done a syncronzing yesterday and then nothing happened and later there they were all the cds. but now they are not seen on the screen and I just dont understan how the system works. I have read the instructions and tried to folow them but it has not helpt at all.

At this point I think you should get Applejack...
    http://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/15667/applejack
After installing, reboot holding down CMD+s, (+s), then when the DOS like prompt shows, type in...
    applejack AUTO
Then let it do all 6 of it's things.
At least it'll eliminate some questions if it doesn't fix it.
The 6 things it does are...
    Correct any Disk problems.
    Repair Permissions.
    Clear out Cache Files.
    Repair/check several plist files.
Dump the VM files for a fresh start.
    Trash old Log files.
First reboot will be slower, sometimes 2 or 3 restarts will be required for full benefit... my guess is files relying upon other files relying upon other files! :-)
Disconnect the USB cable from any Uninterruptible Power Supply so the system doesn't shut down in the middle of the process.
Then... Try putting these numbers in Network>TCP/IP>DNS Servers, for the Interface you connect with...
    208.67.222.222
    208.67.220.220
    Then Apply. For 10.5/10.6 Network, highlight Interface>Advanced button>DNS tab>little + icon.
DNS Servers are a bit like Phone books where you look up a name and it gives you the phone number, in our case, you put in apple.com and it comes back with 17.149.160.49 behind the scenes.
These Servers have been patched to guard against DNS poisoning, and are faster/more reliable than most ISP's DNS Servers.
    For 10.5/10.6 Network, highlight Interface>Advanced button>DNS tab>little + icon.

  • HT1373 how do i put my music on old iphone to new ipad with windows

how do Iput my music on my 3gs iphone to my new ipad?

Plug in your iPhone and open iTunes, sync your data both ways (music ends up on your computer if not there already and anything in iTunes will be synced to your 3GS). Then connect your iPad to iTunes and sync - it will do the same thing, and the end result will be you'll have all your data on all your devices.
If you wanted, you could restore your iPad from your iPhone backup, which I would recommend if you wanted to keep that same data, although it doesn't transfer everything (including non-purchased music) - you still need to sync with iTunes afterwards.
Another option would be to get iTunes Match. That will let you view your entire Music library on all your devices, stream them, and keep them in sync, automatically.
    Hope that helps!

  • How can I get my music off my iPhone and into the iTunes library?

My computer broke down a long time ago and I lost all my music, the only place I have any of it now is on my iPhone. None of my songs were purchases. I haven't updated my phone since I got it a year ago, I deleted and backed up everything on my phone except for my music because I can find no way how, and I still don't have enough space to update. Some of the songs I have on there, I can't get back if I delete now, not anywhere. Why is there not a simple, built in way to back up music??? This has been driving me insane forever, I really just want to get my music back into iTunes again, or get it onto the computer I'm currently using, somewhere, anywhere, at this point. Is there any way to do this without downloading some program that you have to pay for to get to work?

  • Can I sync my music from my iPhone to my iPad?

Is it even possible to connect both devices with one cord to transfer data or do I have to run everything through my computer first?

Unless they are purchases from iTunes and you are in a country where music can be re-downloaded or you have iTunes match (so you can re-download them) then you will need to go via your computer's iTunes.

  • How to transfer music between Old iphone and new iphone

The problem is that I don't have my computer that had all my music anymore so I would need to do it without a computer. I just got the 5s and want to get my music from my 4s. I know you can't do it with I cloud but any ideas?

Can't do it without a computer.
iTunes includes an option to transfer all iTunes content that was purchased/downloaded from the iTunes Store from an iPod or iOS device, but this is for iTunes content that was purchased/downloaded from the iTunes Store only.
First you need to authorize the computer to be used with your iTunes account or Apple ID with iTunes.
With the old iPhone connected and without syncing, at the iTunes menu bar go to File and select Transfer Purchases From - the name of the iPhone.

  • I can't sync my music to my iphone 4..

Im currently using the itunes software version 5.0.1...  I have no idea why i can't synchronize my music to my iphone and the minute they said it's "synchronized" , i check my iphone music and the songs were not selectable.. and i can't play any music fromt here and the capacity bar on the itunes shows nothing about the audio... Help? Im pretty frustrated with this...

Iphone will sync with one and only one computer at a time.
When you sync to another, it will indeed erase the current content from your iphone and replace with content from the new computer.  This is how the iphone is designed.
Make sure that you copy everything from your old computer, or your backup copy of your old computer, to your new one.

  • Sharing beetween an Imac, an iphone and an Ipad

    Hello,
I wanted to know if it's possible to share music at home beetween an Imac and two different iOs device (an Iphone and an ipad) but with two differents Apple store ID one on Iphone and the other on Ipad?
    Thank's

Yes you can do that assuming they are all on the same network. The ID you use on any of the devices for the iTunes Store can be any valid ID, but you need to use the same ID in the home sharing settings on all devices.

  • I have "un-synched" all music on my iPhone 5s, but there are still some albums that I can't delete. Suggestion?

I have "un-synched" all music on my iPhone 5s, but there are still a few albums that were not deleted. When I check "On This Phone" in iTunes, those albums that remain show in dark print, while those deleted remain a lighter text. I have followed suggestions by others as to how to delete "All" music on the phone, but nothing has worked. Any suggestions?  Thanks!

First of all... You don't need a credit card to make an Apple ID.
To buy Paid apps, you can use an iTunes card or an Appstore card.
Also, I'm not sure you can download music you got from email to your music on your phone.
However, I think you can download the music you got from your email on your computer, transfer it to iTunes, and then sync your phone. That should work.
And I don't think you can share files via bluetooth with other phones.
