Can I sysprep a system and keep all the user profiles?

Hi All,
I'm creating a Windows 7 image that I would like to have 4 user profiles in addition to the administrator one. Each computer is a standalone (public use) computer and uses a specific user account/profile depending on how the computer
will be used. When I sysprep the image and deploy it with connecting to the Deployment WorkBench the user accounts are still there but the changes to the desktops are gone. Is there I setting I can use to stop this. I understand the CopyProfile
option creates a default profile I really do want 4 separate desktops to make deployment easier. It worked great for XP.

1. This is by design and sysprep does not allow to tune its behaviour. Sysprepping W XP and W 7 is quite different.
2. copyprofile parameter has only one purpose - to copy administrator profile to default profile and adapt permissions appropriately.
3. I would reconfigure installation with script, or better by GPO in AD.

I've been a Fireworks user for over 10 years and just switched to Photoshop. I cannot find a setting that will enable all my file windows to reopen when I quit Photoshop. This is really a problem since I often work on several files at the same time.
Please let me know if the feature exists or point me to where I can post a message for a new feature to be implemented. The feature is a must for any designer working on large projects.

There is no such functionality. You could perhaps create a script that stores that info in a custom text file and arranges them accordingly in the workspace, but that's as good as it gets...

Email addresses into what?
Each user should have their own account and password to log in. Each is independent of the other. So for Mail each has their own Mail account if they set one up in Mail.
That's the way it should be set up. Are you using a single account and allowing multiple users to use that one single account? If so then in Mail at least you could set up individual mail accounts. But everything else in the system is shared.

How do I Sync two songs to my ipod with out syncing my entire library and keeping all the song that are curantly on my ipod PLZ HELP SOMEONE

my computer crashed and i lost all of my songs. i got some of them back but i can't get some others back. i have these awsome new songs i want on my ipod but i can't sync becuase that will delete all of the other song that i clould not recover from my i pod. how do i sync the two awsome songs on to my i pod with out syncing anything else and keeping all of the non recoverable songs on my ipod? someone PLZ HELP

Unlikely to be possible.
The iPhone/iPod Touch is designed to only sync to one computer at a time.
What you are attempting to do is sync to a 2nd computer, even though it is likely the exact same computer.
The only option that might be possible is using the manually manage music on this device option.

Both should be plugged into the network with ethernet.. if at all possible.
If you have a router already then both bridged otherwise one set to router and one to bridge.
How do you access the TC? Ethernet or wireless?
Are they located in the same area?
You could set different wireless networks.. if they use wireless.. this is nice easy way to do it.
You can set user account in the TC you want the business one to join with.. that will prevent access by the family.
So there is a number of ways.. none are particularly secure btw.. the TC is a home not a business device.. if anybody wants access they press the reset for one second.. pofff all the passwords are default for 5min.. to allow people who forget their password to get access.
On ML you can encrypt TM backups.. this is better for security if that is the problem.. and still use different user profile to prevent access.

How can I save a website and keep all assets attached without loss

I have constructed my first website using Dreamweaver with five tabbed pages. When I preview in Safari everything is there and it all works seemlessly. When I then try to save it on my mac to user - web - sites - site when I launch the page on my domain I get the background and text and a few Gifs but most of the other gifs and the navigation buttons are missing. I am very much the newbie but feel I am a few strands of knowledge short of making this work.
Very frustrating. Can you please help?

First thing I'd check is to see if your links to those assets are relative to the document as opposed to relative to your hard drive!
An example: Let's say your site is in a folder called "MyWebsite". Within that folder you have a folder called "images" with your images, a folder called "style" with your CSS and finally all of your HTML pages lie singly within the "MyWebsite" root.
To call your CSS you would point links this way "../style/MyStyleSheet.css" - where ".." = root folder (MyWebsite), "/style" = the folder called "style", and "MyStyleSheet.css" = your style sheet.
Your links to images would look like, "../images/ImageName.jpg" - again the "dot dot" points to the root folder ("MyWebsite"), "/images" then directs it to the folder called "images" and the "ImageName.jpg" would be the actual image that is linked.
Following relative filepaths (relative to the "root" folder) will ensure that regardless of where you move the "MyWebsite" folder, all the links will continue to work.

You should be able to:
Backup the device to the new installation
Transfer your purchases into a newly authorized library
Recover any other media using third party tools as suggested in this post from forum regular Zevoneer
Restore the device from the backup
This process should switch the association of the device to the new library, preserving the data and settings in your apps.
May also be prudent to attempt a backup to iCloud directly from the device before you start... Settings > iCloud > Storage & Backup > iCloud Backup > On. It won't save any media but it would preserve the general account settings and documents in case anything goes wrong while you are trying to extract your other data.
When you get it all fixed, make a backup!

That would be my suggestion. Just keep using the common one for purchases in the stores. Then each get another AppleID using a free gmail, AOL, hotmail, MS Live or whatever email account.
Delete your current iCloud account and login with the new AppleID, and logout of Messaging and then backin with the new AppleID. Now you have a shared iTunes/App store account, but completely separate, independent iCloud and iMessage accounts.

How to transfer my iTunes Library from a Mac to a PC and keep all the Metadata?

I need to transfer my music library from my macbook to a desktop PC running Windows 7. I have tried using Home Sharing as well as transfering the whole iTunes folder over using an external hard drive. Neither attempt kept all my metadata. Is there any way to recreate my library on a Windows machine and keep the metadata?

Moving a library: Quick answer if you use iTunes' default preferences settings: Copy the entire iTunes folder (and in doing so all its sub-folders and files) intact to the other drive. Hold down the option (alt) key (shift on Windows) and open iTunes. At the prompt to create or choose a library choose the copied iTunes folder.
If this is to a new computer and you put the copied iTunes folder in the default location of Macintosh HD > Users > *User Name* > Music then you don't even need to start with the option key held down, iTunes will automatically look for it there. (Make sure there isn't anything already in the iTunes folder there that you want to keep since you will be replacing it with the one you are moving.)

How can I enlarge my tabs and keep them the way I set them? My page zooms in and out but my file, bookmarks, etc. tabs stay the same size.

using the view tab, I select Zoom. Zoom in only increases appearance of web page. The tabs (File, Edit, View, History, Bookmarks, Tools and Help) all remain the same size! Way too small to read! This sucks and I don't LIKE IT!

are open. Because the window with the 90 tabs was closed first, then the

Can I install Adobe CS3, and upgrade all the way through to CS5.5 on Lion?

I have registered Adobe Suite products since CS3 (DVDs) and been incrementally upgrading to CS5.5 on my Macbook Pro late 2008.
I recently bought a Mac Mini Server and I was wondering if I will be able to install my Adobe CS3 (imaged disks or external super drive) then run all my upgrades (see below) all the way through CS5.5 without any issues.
1) Master Collection CS3 DVDs
2) Design Premium CS4 DVDs
3) Design Premium CS5 Download
4) Design Premium CS5.5 Download
I have read somewhere that I could perhaps skip the 2 older CSx, and instead, just install my CS5 from download and enter the earlier serial numbers (CS3 + CS4) requested. But until I receive the Mac Mini with Lion, I cannot try this and confirm if this actually works.
Has anyone performed a similar installation on their Lion OS?
