    Firefox is extremely sluggish and won't even open pages like Facebook and if it does the wheel will spin and spin and nothing loads.
    The problem is definitely Firefox because the problem does not exist in Internet Explorer, Chrome, or Safari.
    I also would like to know why you cannot get technical support from a human being anymore??

    Hey scjax2014, Sorry to hear that you have been having problems with Firefox(FYI, I am a human being)
    If there are issues with certain sites,it may be due to issues with the cache and clearing it may help.
    #Click the menu button [[Image:New Fx Menu]], choose History, and then Clear Recent History....
    #Under "Time range to clear", select "Everything".
    #Now, click the arrow next to Details to toggle the Details list active.
    #From the details list, check ''Cache'' and ''Cookies'' and uncheck everything else.
    #Now click the ''Clear now'' button.

  • How can I talk to a HUMAN?????

    I find Skype IMPOSSIBLE to use now. I have the latest Skype (6.3.0) for my system (OS X 10.9.5).
    I had a Skype name (SN1) for many years and used it successfully very rarely (<10) times, now I have lost PW. 
    SN1 is linked to my email (EM1).  My wife has a different Skype name (SN2), linked to the same email.
    If I enter EM1 I get my wife's a/c SN2 with no access to Skype name SN1.   
    Using SN1, I reset the password, but I could still never sign in with SN1. FAILURE-1
    So, I figured, I'll create a new Skype name, SN3, also linked to the same email EM1. I entered the
    PW. Got a confirmation from Skype that SN3 was ready for use. Tried to sign in a few minutes later, FAILURE-2 !!!!
    I need to talk to a human to fix this..

    everytime i open a pdf i get a pop up to register now, register later, im tired of signing in to open a stupid pdf. i created and signed in and yet it still happens.

    And what makes you think that you'll get better service by contacting a human being at Adobe by phone? Numerous posts on the subject do not support your belief.

  • Can somebody help me to organise my Bookmarks.....books, instructions pages have all failed....desperately want to talk to a 'human being'!!!!

    I simply wish to put my bookmarks into folders but for example the Dummies book of Firefox says click on Manage Bookmarks but I don't have that on my screen.
    I have a very long list of bookmarks that I simply want to sort into order so I can access more easily!!!!!

  • Trying to contact you people is one of the MOST frustrating experiences I've recently endured. Is there just no escape from the unending loops back to forums?? Is there not a phone number where a customer can speak to an Adobe human being in real time? Is

    .....and so here I am...back in the f'ing forums. With a two day shoot later this week my only option is to buy a different app to have tethered shooting as an option. And if that's what I have to do, I'll do it, and Adobe will never see me again (after 22 years of using their products).

    I shoot tethered using a LR "watched folder" for auto import. Why would I do that when LR5 supports tethering with all my Canon DSLR cameras?
    I use the free Canon EOS Utility, which supports live view mode and ability to change camera and flash settings on my system monitor. Lightroom currently only provides a remote shutter release and visual indication of the camera settings........and nothing else!

    Since I found out that my exchange had been enabled for Ifinity, albeit limited access, I want to find out if the service is to be extended, as I actually want Infinity and would like to speak to someone to find out more, but I cant seem to find a number on the BT website. 

    A large part of the country can not get above 2Megs never mind Infinity
    The governments promise (last guv) was to provide at least 512K connection to 98% of the country !!

  • Has anyone else managed to speak to a human being in the App Review team

    I have had my app rejected twice on the basis that they think all the functionality can be incorporated in an epub format even though the epub format explicitly can't support what my app does. But every time I try and contact the team, it is only allowed via email (with very long waits for responses) and I just a standard script response, e.g
    "2.21: Apps that are simply a song or movie should be submitted to the iTunes store. Apps that are simply a book should be submitted to the iBookstore".
    Even when I appealed I just got the same script back and I keep being told that I can't talk to a human being.
    Has anyone actually managed to speak to a member of staff in the App Review Team and could you give me some advice as to how I can do this. The process has been dragging on and all I need is a 10-minute discussion with a human being,

    I did get a phone call after a few days and it did end up as a useful conversation.
    I do think though that there should be contact numbers so that developers can actually ring a named individual in the App Review Team. I was really surprised that the Apple switchboard said that they were unable to connect incoming callers to specific teams or members of staff. As a Customer Service experience it seems pretty poor.
    Anyway, the member of staff in the Review Team was helpful and we are making some of the suggested changes and resubmitting the App.
    In terms of ePub functionality, it actually can't do everything the App can do as there is no way within an ePub of changing navigation based on whether you are using an iPhone or iPad. There are a lot of things you can do (in fact you can build an HTML5 app within an ePub if you want) but whether an ePub format is appropriate for all the things you can do is another matter. That is a discussion for another day ...

      You could convert your NEF’s to Adobe DNG and then continue using PSE8. Otherwise an upgrade to PSE10 will work.
