Can I transfer calendar data from one Apple ID to another?

Just realized that my calendars and email were all sharing one Apple ID with my husband which is problematic because I want my own devices syncing up properly. I've set up my own Apple ID, but before I activate it on my devices I want to be sure I don't lose all the data. Can I transfer a calendar from one Apple ID to another and if so, can I do this from the devices themselves or do I need my desktop?
I've read some earlier related posts and they don't seem to answer this question clearly for me.
Thanks so much!

You will probably need to do this on your Mac; I'm not sure it's possible on an iPhone. You have to deal with one calendar at a time.
Select a calendar listed under your husbands iCloud login name.
From the File menu choose Export...>Export. An .ics file will be saved at your designated destination.
Repeat this for any other calendars.
Sign out in System Preferences>iCloud and sign in with your own ID. Your calendars and other data will disappear from your Mac but not from the server.
From the File menu choose 'New Calendar' then your iCloud login name in the sub menu.
A new calendar called 'Untitled' will appear in your sidebar under your iCloud login name. Change its name to that of the calendar you exported.
From the File menu choose 'Import...' then 'Import...' from the sub-menu. A navigation pane will open: navigate to and choose your exported .ics file.
iCal will ask you where to import this to. Click the drop-down menu and select the iCloud version of your calendar (make sure not to choose the 'On My Mac' version). Import.
Your calendar contents will appear in the iCloud version of the calendar but this may take some time. You need to leave iCal running until the rotating icon at the top of the sidebar disappears.
Repeat 5-9 for other calendars.

  • How can I transfer game data from one apple device to another?

I have looked at multiple answers to try to find what I am looking for but I can't fine anything that can help me. I have a 4th gen iPod and I recently got an IPad Mini. I have already set up my iPad and have lots of games on it. Is there any way I can transfer my game data onto my iPad without going through iCloud?

Apps purchased by an Apple ID are forever associated with that ID.    Purchases can't be transfers to another Apple ID.

  • Can i transfer redeemed credit from one apple id to another?

I set up a new apple id on my new ipod touch, forgetting that I already have an apple id with all my old music on.
Before i realised this, I had already redeemed £45 worth of credit on to my new apple id.
What I would like to do is delete my new account, but at the same time transfer the credit I haven't yet used to my old apple id.
Is this in anyway possible? I am not particularly bothered about losing a few songs i purchased with my new apple id, so long as I can retain the credit I have left.
Also to throw a spanner in the works, the new apple id account isn't accepting my password (which was previously working) everytime I either sign in or verify my apple id on my ipod touch. Of course I tried to reset my password which took me to two options: (a) Send an e-mail to the address(es) attatched to my account to reset my password. This won't work because the e-mail that comes through is one of this nature: 'Please verify the contact email address for your Apple ID' and so I click the link and in order for me to verify the e-mail address with the apple id, I need to sign in with my apple id username and password (which I have forgotten). Which takes me round in a viscous circle! (b) Answer some security questions - but before I can answer any questions, I need to give my date of birth...which it doesn't accept!
Any help would be greatly appreciated! I just want one apple id account (my old one) with the credit from my new account (that I can't access).

Likely not. Also, accounts can't be combined. You can always contact iTunes but see:

  • I can't transfer a purchase from one apple ID to another?

OK, so I have my apple ID and then my friend and I have one that we share. Well, I bought a movie on the ID that we share but I couldn't download it to my phonne because I don't have enough room. However, I would still like it in my iTunes. I am signed into my personal iTunes account because I had the majority of my music on there. How can I get the movie to transfer from our joint account to my personal account without it being on my phone? I tried clicking transfer purchases and it transfered some of the other movies we have on the account which werent on my phone, but it won't download the one I want.

Any purchase is permanently attached to the ID it was purchased with (or gifted to if it was a gift). Sign in to the account you want to download from then go to the iTunes Store home page > Quick Links > Purchased > Movies > Not on this computer and download.

  • How can I transfer my purchases from one Apple ID to another?

I would like to consolidate all my wife's and my purchases into one existing Apple ID on our computer so we can share apps, music, books, etc.
I spoke with your Support Team who said this was possible if completing a particular form and requesting this formally with specific accounts and list of desired transfered purchases.
Do anyone know where this form is and has anyone been successful in doing it?

  • Concerning midi data in GarageBand for iOS: can we copy midi data from one virtual instrument to another?

Concerning midi data in GarageBand for iOS: can we copy midi data from one virtual instrument to another?
For instance: I play my "lucky take" on the virtual piano, and now I am curious how it would sound on let's say a organ. Normally I would select the midi content out of the piano track and copy it into the organ track. I cannot figure out how to do this in GarageBand for iOS. Is there anyone out there with a solution?
    Thanks!

It is limited, how you can move regions between tracks. Basically, you can move between tracks with the same touch instrument.  See the help: http://help.apple.com/garageband/ipad/2.0/index.html#chsec12c15d
    Move a region
Drag the region left or right to move it forward or back in time. Align the left edge of the region with the bar or beat on the ruler where you want it to start playing.
Drag the region up or down to move it to another track with the same Touch Instrument. You can also drag regions between Keyboard and Sampler tracks, and between Audio Recorder and Guitar Amp tracks. Smart Drums regions cannot be dragged to another Smart Drums track.
If you move a region so that it overlaps another region, the overlapped part of the “covered” region is deleted.
    Paste a region
You can paste a region you have copied, or paste an audio file from an app that supports copying audio to the clipboard. GarageBand supports 44.1 kHz sample rate, 16-bit depth uncompressed audio files.
You can paste copied regions to another track with the same Touch Instrument. You can also paste regions between Keyboard and Sampler tracks, and between Audio Recorder and Guitar Amp tracks. Smart Drums regions cannot be pasted to another Smart Drums track. Audio files copied from another app can be pasted to Audio Recorder or Guitar Amp tracks.
Move the playhead to the point where you want the region to start.
Tap the header of the track where you want to paste the region to select the track.
Tap the track where you want to paste the region, then tap Paste. You can also tap an empty area of Tracks view, then tap Paste. In this case the region is pasted into the currently selected track.

  • Is it possible to transfer all files from one Apple ID to another

    Hello,
For work I currently use an iPad Air (iOS 8.1.3) and just recently upgraded to a MacBook Pro (OS X 10.10.2) . The only issue is that I will be using a different Apple ID on the MacBook then I was using on the iPad. My question is, is it possible to transfer all of my pages documents from one Apple ID to another all at one time or will I have to manually share each document with myself. If there is a way, would it be possible on the iPad app, the MacBook app or on the iCloud website.
Thanks for your time and help

No, it is not possible. All purchased items under one Apple ID are permanently connected to it. They cannot be transferred to another Apple ID. You can, however, repurchase the items under your new Apple ID.
You can always call Apple to see if they can be of help.

  • Transfer iTunes content from one Apple ID to another Apple ID

I have recently set up a second Apple ID so that I can separate content I want my kids to be able to access and other content that I don't want them to see (eg particular TV shows and movies) and have set up a separate computer through that I want to load with content suitable for them.  Is it possible for me to transfer content purchased on iTunes from one Apple ID/iTunes account to a different one?  Are there any tips/tricks for this?  Any problems or watch-outs?  Thanks.

    Hi H.E. Bear,
Sorry, but iTunes purchases are forever tied to the Apple ID that they were purchased under. There is no way to transfer purchases from one Apple ID to another.
You can, however, Authorize that original ID to the new computer (along with the new one for the kids). Once you have Authorized it, you can transfer selected purchases into the iTunes Library on that computer:

Any reason you created a new AppleID?
iTunes purchases are permanently tied to the AppleID used to purchase. This cannot be changed.
What do you mean by "restore the original id"?
You can easily merge content from different AppleIDs into one iTunes library.
