Can i transfer licenses from pc to Mac?

Hi, i am looking at buying a Mac. Can i transfer my cs5.5 and lightroom 4 to the mac from pc? Or do i need to buy them new for Mac?

LR is cross-platform, no problem there. Your CS5.5 will however require upgrading to CS6 and conversion to Mac or getting a Creative Cloud license.

Normally you should be able to drag and drop them onto the drive, provided the drive is Mac formatted. Have you already tried that?

Your new MacBookPro has Mac OS X Lion v10.7.x installed on an Intel processor and cannot open or read ClarisWorks files as such.
However, you may be able to reformat to RTF > AppleWorks: Document Recovery Techniques
The issue is going to be migrating files since you can't use Migration Assistant to transfer files from another Mac

How can I transfer contacts from IPHone to Mac?,

First of all, thanks to everyone who will help me.
I syncronised many times my Iphone 3GS with Mac and everything was OK (apart that I found all the contacts twice or 3 times in Iphone).
I backuped Iphone sometimes on the Mac and others on ICloud.
Last time, I found that the adress book in Mac was almost completely empty (only 10 or so contacts, all the groups empty) but I have everything in the IPhone.
How can I now get to transfer all the contacts from IPhone to Mac?

Deleted the contacts from where? The device? the computer? both?
Use the backup of the computer to put them back if they have been deleted off the computer. Once that is done, they can be synced to the iPhone.

Transfer License from PC to Mac

Hi,
I'm just in the process to switch from Windows to MacOS. I tried my old licenses from Photoshop CS3 on the Mac, but it doesn't work (other like Lightroom which works fine on MacOS).
What can I do...I would like to give back the PC license and get a MacOS license. But as I do not want to use it on both machines, I didn't like the idea to buy a second copy.
Although could I run an MacOS Updateversion with a previous Windows license?

I just bought a Win -> Mac crossgrade for Photoshop by phone;
it took just about 5 minutes and was an easy transaction with
a pleasant service guy.
Steps:
          go to www.adobe.com
               click on "contact"
               on next page, click "other phone numbers"
               call number listied for "licensing, registration web services"
               told the agent I wanted to crossgrade from CS2 on PC to
                    CS5 on Mac
               verified name, address, e-mail address
               he (evidently) checked licensing/registration
               he offered full Mac retail package at upgrade price
                    (plus shipping and sales tax)
               I gave him credit card info
               within five minutes, I had confirmation e-mail including
                    all the order conf data in a nice oficial-looking PDF
                    complete with Adobe letterhead
(and while I'm waiting for the package to arrive, I can make use
of the 30-day trial CS5 for Mac ... )
Now this is for a cross-grade which means I'm not going to continue
to use CS2 on the PC and apparently they found all my registration
data with no trouble, but all in all it was about as easy as these
things get.
I don't recall ever using Adobe customer service before, but if this
is anything like typical, it's a lot better than its reputation.

Depends, where did these photos come from?
If they were synced from another computer, then not easily. You will need a 3rd party App to do so.
If these were photos taken with the iPad then you can.

Hi,
I installed Adobe Photoshop Elements 13 on a new PC that I just bought. But every time I launch the software, it's says that it's already installed on the maximum amount of computer.
I want to uninstall it from my previous machine but do I need to do something first ? I tried everything under my account information in my profile and try to go look in the help menu but cannot find anything.
I read about Transfer the license but I can't find this option in the help menu... I've also tried disconnect from the help menu but it doesn't do anything.

When getting a new laptop can I transfer everything from an old mac book

I have an old MacBook from over 4 years ago. It turns on and I can see the screen but I cannot click on anything. I am planning to buy a new MacBook, probably Air or Pro, but I wanted to know if I bring my old laptop in will I be able to transfer my files (itunes, pictures, etc.) onto the new one?

Yes, you can do this. Use the Migration Assistant when you first start up your new computer. You can do it later as well but it is easier to do it immediately. For that model MacBook you can do it using FireWire, Ethernet or using a wireless network. I do not suggest the latter as it can be quite slow.

So I would say "unlimited" based on the information provided by Adobe. Of course given all the connectivity and activation issues being posted in the forums regularly, just keep in mind then that during the process you might run into temporary technical trouble. But if all goes well technically, then yes you should be able to activate and deactivate as many times as you want, whenever you want as long as you don't exceed the two computer maximum and abide by the usage terms etc. It's a rather cumbersome approach but is a perhaps cheaper option short of signing up for a team subscription.
