Can I transfer music from my account to my daughters account permanently?

My daughter has several hundred songs that were purchased on my account. Now that she is older and buying her own music she needs her own account and I am changing my password so she won't have access to my purchases (she can't use mine forever - LOL). Is there a away I can transfer the songs she wants to her new account permanently? I don't need to share them or keep them on my account. Thank you

Yes you can! But syncing your friend's phone with your computer will erase all her contents so beware!

    CD's you can give to them to rip to their own iTunes.  If you do that, legally you are supposed to delete any copies you may have in your posession as you no longer own the content.
    For iTunes purchases, they are permanently tied to the account they were purchased with. 
    You can always gift the content via iTunes to your friend, purchase and give them CD's, or let them buy their own copies.

    You can sync music and other content to an iPad via your computer's iTunes (a free download from here) - you don't have to purchase anything in order to use the program. You can buy music from Apple, from other sites and/or copy your own CDs via iTunes, and then sync them to the iPad via iTunes.

    I don't know what country that you are in, but there is a Kindle app available for the iPad in a number of countries (the app is free) which can be linked to your Amazon account so you can download your kindle ebooks into it. There are also Nook and Kobo ereader apps.
    There are also a number of PDF reader apps for the iPad, some of them free like Apple's iBooks and Adobe Reader, and some which are paid-for which are more powerful e.g. GoodReader.
    Films can be purchased from Apple, or there are other sites such as Netflix with their own apps. The iPad natively supports a number of video formats (they are listed on this page).
