Can i transfer music library?
is there any way that i can move my music library to another computer without having to remove songs from itunes because i dont have enough space in the ipod?
Windows XP
There are a few things you could do, from networking the two computers, using CDs or DVDs as already suggested or using an external hard drive to make the move. Have a look at this User Tip: Migrating iTunes for Windows to a new PC
If you can network the computers there is also this one: Copying songs over a network to use with iTunes for Windows

Can't transfer music library from old desktop to new laptop computer
I am hoping this is an easy fix, but I have I-Tunes and all my music originally loaded on my desktop.
I just rcvd a new laptop and loaded I-Tunes onto it, then plugged in my I-Pod and it won't allow me to sync on both computers are the same time
"This I-pod is synched with another I-Tunes library. I-pod can only be synched with one librart at a time"
and it wants me to wipe out the all my music and synch with the new computer
1) Can I have the same music on both computers and connect my I-pod?
2) How can I just dump all my music on the I-pod to my laptop w/o a external drive or something like that??? Can I use the i-pod to do this?
Thanks

How can I transfer music from my iPhone to my iPad.?
I no longer have a PC. Mine died and cannot be restored. It had iTunes with my entire music library on it.If you are running an OS of 5.0 or higher, you should be able to use the iCloud to sync both devices together & share music.

How can I transfer music from my old iphone 4 to the new iphone 5S without having the music on the old phone synced to my laptop (e.g. my itunes library on the laptop is empty) ?
I tried the "Transfer Purchases" option - however this only worked for apps - not sure if I'm missing some sort of setting.
I do not want to use iCloud as I do not have enough space for my music.
Thanks! You cannot. The music must be in the iTunes library first. See these User Tips:

i can't transfer music and other files from library to my iphone 4 by dragging it.can anyone help me?is there any other way to transfer files into iphone?
If you want to drag and drop ( don;t know why you would do this), you will have to check manually manage music.
Why not just sync?

How can I transfer music from my ipod classic 60GB to my iPhone 4 music library, just by song or whole CD that I have bought? Help needed!
load the current version of I tunes on the laptop and sync the pod. Then sync the phone - you can select all or as much of the music you want to.
Also - if the music on the pod was purchased from the itune store in the first place, you should be able to redownload it to the phone for free, as long as you are using the same apple id that it was bought with. -

Can I transfer music from one Ipod touch to a newer generation Ipod touch?
Can I transfer music from one IPod Touch to a newer generation IPod Touch?
- No directly. You have to first get the music in your itunes library on your computer and then sync the music to the new computer.
- You can/should restore you new iPod from the backup of your old iPod to get app date and other things on the new iPod. You will have to reenter passwords since passwords only get restore to the same device. The backup does not contain music so that has to be synced.
- You can transfer iTunes purchased from an iPod to your computer by:

After the last upgrade, I can't transfer my library audiobook cd's from my computer to my iPod so that I can listen to the book. It seems to be transferring but
doesn't show up on my iPod. How do I find the transferred files on my iPod Classic 60GB? Help! I've done this thousands of times before, and this is the 1st
time I've had a problem, so I'm suspecting the upgrade. For non-purchased music like CD ripped songs, you need some third party software like sharepod, yamipod or iPod file manager to copy them from iPod back to computer. if you need details, here is a guide about how to copy iPod music. Hope it helps. Feel free to email me if you need further help.
