Can I transfer my old apple ID details into my new apple ID and delete the old ID forever please.
Hi . . . prior to purchasing my iPhone two years ago, I did you an old apple ID, the iPhone wouldn’t let me use this and I created a new apple ID.
Is there a way to transfer my previous purchases to my new apple ID account – delete my old ID and de-authorise Macs that I have had in the past???

Did you reinstall using the full three step way (otherwise strange things may linger)?
Uninstall (ticking the box to delete the preferences), run the Cleaner Tool, and reinstall.

How can I get rid of Apple Maps and Put the Google Maps back?
I wanted to know how to remove the Apple Maps and reinstall the Google Maps. The Apple Maps is a very inferior programme and not worth the space on the. Computer. It can't find anything. It's a complete waste of time.
So my original question is, how to get rid of it, and put the Google Maps back?CHances are google maps are never coming back as part of the bundled OS. Apple and Google seem to have parted ways (possibly has something to do with Google having their apps on other devices from other manufacturers but no one knows for sure)
Since preinstalled apps cannot be deleted, the most you can do is ignore the icon, shove it back on a back menu page (I have a 4th menu page on my iPad containing nothing but the bundled apps I consider worthless. I just ignore that page and never go there) and then put a shortcut to google maps on your iPad or find a third party map app you like better. -

You can't delete an account, all you can do is remove any personal info from in and stop using it - but anything that you downloaded from the stores with it will remain tied to that account.
If you don't know the password for it then try this page to get it reset : http://iforgot.apple.com
If you also don't know your security answers, then if you have a rescue email address (which is not the same thing as an alternate email address) set up on your account then steps 1 to 5 on the page that you posted from should let you reset them : go to https://appleid.apple.com/ and click 'Manage your Apple ID' on the right-hand side of that page and log into your account, then click on 'Password and Security' on the left-hand side of that page and on the right-hand side you should see an option to send security question reset info to your rescue email address.
If you don't have a rescue email address (you won't be able to add one until you can answer 2 of your questions) then you won't get the reset option - you will need to contact iTunes Support / Apple to get the questions reset.

Hello please can anyone help me I recently brought the imac 27 is x maverick desktop. I had brought this imac from someone who no longer wanted it. My problem is I have managed to log on with my Apple ID . But when I go into my purchases of my apps it's saying its empty and I don't know how I create the imac to my Apple ID . A friend and I shared an itunes account, as we both had ipod touches. I no longer have access to that account. I have created an account of my own but I need help tranferring the content that is on my ipod touch to my new itunes. I am scared to update my ipod or syncing it because it might delete my content. The photos are on the ipod. Photo sync will erase them. I need a way to extract them from the ipod, or to.extract them from the ipod backup that is who knows where on my PC.

Sync is only oneway, from PC to your device. Unless you have the music on your PC, iTunes is going to wipe out what you have on your device if you are syncing to a new library.
You can only transfer Purchased music over to Itunes on your PC.

Every time Firefox openedDavid. Thank you very much. The problem was not with the canvas but rather the Viewer. But the solution was the same. Somehow, the Viewer window was re-set to Alpha. I changed it back to RGB.... and the picture is back. These issues are often very simple.... but they can drive you bats if you don't know the answer. Very grateful. Tim
