    What photos?
Photos synced from computer to ipod are one way only  - computer to ipod.  As they came from your computer in the first place, they should still be there.
Pics taken with ipod are imported as with any digital camera.

My computer recently crashed and i would like to transfer the photos from my ipod back onto my computer. Is this possible?

There are a number of utilities you could have a look at for retrieving photo's, have a look at the pages below for a start. If you do an internet search you can probably find a few more:
    iPodPhotoCopy Windows only
    CopyPodPhoto Windows only

  • How can I transfer photos on my iPod Nano imported from a previous PC to my new Macbook

    Hi all,
Wonder if you can help. I have photos which were copied to an Ipod Nano using Itunes on a PC Laptop. The hard drive on the PC is dead and I have now purchased a Macbook. How can I transfer these photos to my new Macbook please.
I have tried opening Itunes with the Ipod Nano connected and then checking the box "enable disk use". Then opening Iphoto and Image Capture to import the photos but none of these seem work.
Could the fact that the photos were originally on a PC using Itunes to the Ipod Nano be the reason? I am at a loss!
Mac OS, Itunes and Ipod software is all up to date.

The photos you synced to your iPod through iTunes are no longer in their full resolution, but instead are scaled down thumbnails of those photos.  So if you do manage to get them off your iPod, they will be quite small in size compared to the original ones you lost.
In order to get them off of your iPod, you'll need the help of some sort of 3rd party software. Here is one option.

  • I can't remove photos from my ipod nano

I am not exactly sure how I got pictures on my ipod. I do not have any other software (besides what came with it). ipod do not say i have any pictures on it. How do I remove them from my ipod?

The photos on your nano are controlled by the Preferences.
Have a look and you will see a Photos tab.
Make sure there is nothing selected and re sync your nano.
This shows yo how to get them on there Syncing Photos from Windows
You just need to reverse those instructions to get them off.
It looks like you just need to untick one box.

  • How can I transfer photos from my ipod to my MacBook

I lost everything on my MacBook (its about 5/6 years old.) Like an idiot ~ I did not back anything up. I thought that I had lost everything, until I remembered that I have a lot my photos on my IPod (classic) . Is there any way to transfer those photos onto my laptop now (to IPhoto) Thank You in advance ~

  • How can i transfer music from my Ipod nano to my new hard drive

Hi, I have a I pod Nano 6th edition.I downloaded music from my CD collection and I purchased a few CD's from ITunes. I had problems with the hard drive and had to have a new hard drive installed. I was advised to save my ITunes library and my photos and any other important documents on my hard drive.I saved everything onto a pen drive.
I have tried to reinstall everything onto my new hard drive. I had no problem with the photos or documents, but the ITunes folders are giving me problems.
I have downloaded the updated ITunes web site onto my new hard drive.I have tried to send the folder from pen drive to the iTunes folder and My Music folder.
I also tried dragging the folder from the pen drive to the my music folder. For some reason 3 tracks from about 4 hundred have arrived in the My Music Folder.
I am afraid to plug my Ipod into the laptop as I was told I could lose every thing
Is there any way to solve my problem??
    Help

Follow the instructions here > How to use your iPod to move your music to a new computer
As noted from that article, you may need to authorize the computer.
From the iTunes menu bar click Store > Authorize This Computer
