Can i undo Hyper-V revert changes
There is not a way to revert the snapshot that I am aware of. Snapshotting is not a backup method, nor should it be used as one. You really need another backup tool to handle this (there are a few free ones), and then using snapshots for testing configuration changes and updates.
over the weekend I did revert changes on a windows 2003 SMB server which is running as a virtual machine. After reverting changes the computer only sees information up till April 2015, which is when we took a snapshot. I want to know all the records and data after stored is it still saved some where or we've lost it. Is there anyway to undo the revert changes option

Virtualization and DEP can usually be enabled in the BIOS and then the machine needs to be cold booted (pull the battery if it is a laptop).
SLAT is a dependency of your processor.

My iphone was stolen yesterday so I decided to delete my device in find my iphone, but the it has not yet been deleted bec the device is not connected to the internet yet. [Solved] Vim: Can only undo most recent change
Howdy-ha, folks. So I've been (very) gradually making the transition from Geany to Vim over several months, mostly without issue. However, I've been reluctant to use Vim for anything other than quick, simple operations for one reason: The "u" key will only undo the most recent change, as though there aren't any other changes in the history. Hitting "u" a second time reverses the "undo" command, so that repeatedly hitting it will just remove and add the same small change over and over again. No matter how much time I spend looking into this it seems I'm the only person who's ever had this problem, and it occurs regardless of whether /etc/vimrc and ~/.vimrc exist. As a result, I can't do any complex editing for fear of botching something and needing to spend hours backtracing my mistakes. Any help on this is appreciated.

That would likely be the issue: I overwrote the default with my own config file, without including runtime! archlinux.vim in my own config. As far as I can tell, things are working as both user and root. I suppose I should have paid more attention, but then again, there's no mention in the Arch wiki entry about not altering/deleting any of those files:

Can't install Hyper-V on Windows 8.1 Pro
I have a Dell XPS L702x laptop with 2 hard drives, one of them has a MBR partition and has Hyper-V running without problems, but in the second drive, which is a SSD disk and has a GPT partition, I can't install it. It seems to install, gets to about 95%
and then I get a message: "Failure configuring windows features, reverting changes" and then it reboots and reverts the installation attempt.
I have tried the following commands:
DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth
DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
Sfc /scannow
But no errors were found, and I also run coreinfo with this results:

EPT * Supports Intel extended page tables (SLAT)Can you clarify what you're trying to do as it's unclear to me? You've got a laptop with two drives, and you've already got Hyper-V installed on the laptop, and you're now trying to install it on the other drive?
If that's the case then I'm unsure why you think you need to.
You only have Hyper-V installed once on a machine, and it's ALWAYS installed on the boot partition of the machine because that's how it works. Effectively once installed the Hypervisor sits on the boot partition, and the local copy of Windows becomes a management
VM running on top of the hypervisor (that's why the VM's you create get as good performance as the host OS does, as they sit alongside each other rather than on top of one another).
If you're trying to use the second drive (the SSD) for Hyper-V then you simply need to create a new VM from within Hyper-V that you have installed already, and during the installation you're able to choose where to put the VM files, at which point you can
set it to use the SSD for those files.
I've got the same setup on my home machine, though in reverse, eg my boot partition is an SSD, and I've got a large HDD that hosts my VMs. -
Can't insert custom HTML or change social widgets to update Phone layout
MUSE 2014.2.1.10, CL 787362 on Windows 8.1 i7 processor 24 GB RAM
Anytime I try to insert custom HTML in the phone layout pages I get a window that says webpage could not be found in a window that is too wide for the screen size and can't be re-sized!!!
I am adding scripts, inline css and custom form code. Need to republish changes and can't on mobile layout. Its local code but I get The webpage cannot be found error!!! It also does this with the built in social widgets.... The code is there in the page on export but you can't preview and since I can't resize the box to 380px wide ( it jumps back open) it throws off my layout when export page. This is not just custom HTML but upon changing or adding any of the built in social widgets such as Google maps, Facebook or other social media. Forms, buttons, menus and compositions no problems... they work just as they normally would.
Preview mode just gives me the whole page as blank when I try to preview the page in Muse. HELP I need to update the address and the form to match the desktop site but the error is persistent! and undo does not revert it back to previous content I just get the webpage cannot be found box even on undo!!!!The SECOND picture in my previous post IS THE PREVIEW... NOTHING appears when I try to view the page in phone view!!!!

Trouble with curves + trackpad, can't undo
When I try to adjust the curves of a layer with a vector mask using my trackpad (clicking with my thumb, and moving the cursor with my pointer finger) something other than the curves changes. I know it is not curves because 1) it is applied whether I click apply or cancel in the curves window and 2) whatever this thing is, I can't undo it with command-Z or the history pane. It's not the blneding mode, opacity or fill that has changed. I'm assuming it has to do with some sort of gesture I don't mean to be doing. I have been able to adjust other layers with regular raster mask just fine. It seems to happen when I move the curve point up and then back down on the same click. The layers I've had this happen on are also using a lower layer as a clipping mask. This is a real problem because the only way to fix it is to revert to a saved version before this happened.
Your IT Administrator must turn on ActiveSync on your corporate server before the account can be added. Talk to them about this.

I've been using numbers for iPad and I accidentally deleted a column. And the auto-save feature saved that and now I can't undo it. Does iCloud storage have backups of saved files from like 10 minutes ago? I have numbers synced to iCloud.
I tried to undo it but the app crashed.
I am hoping there's like a previously saved version of my file in iCloud somewhere.No, iOS does not do short term incremental back ups to iCloud such as you get with Time Capsule.It backs up when you do soo manually, or if set properly, when the device is plugged in and connected to WiFi. It will not have saved your changes as of 10 minutes prior.

Error while Updating "Failure configuring Windows updates - Reverting changes"
I've recently formatted my HP ENVY 15t-3200 CTO Notebook PC.
When I'm updating the PC the Error of "Failure configuring Windows updates - Reverting changes - Do not turn off your computer" triggers on screen when the PC restarts after installing the Updates.
It takes hours to revert the changes.........
Pls. help me out as I can't update my PC to Windows 8.1 from Windows 8 Pro.
I've also tried to resolve the issue by searching on the vrious websites but the issue has not been resolved yet.

Try the following.
Open an Elevated Command Prompt.
Type in ( or just copy and paste ) the following command ( including spaces ) and hit enter.
Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
This will take a while to complete, but when it’s finished, restart the notebook.
Let windows fully load, then once again, open an elevated command prompt, then enter the following command and hit enter.
sfc /scannow ( note that there is a space between sfc and the / )
Let the process complete, then type exit and hit enter.
Restart the notebook then try upgrading to 8.1 again.

Satellite C875 : Windows reverting changes after update to Windows 8.1
For days now with no success, I have been trying to update from Windows 8 (64 bits) to Windows 8.1 a Satellite C875-153 (PSCBCE-03H002FR)
I am opening a new thread as none of the available threads on this forum have helped me nor my researched on the web.
*1st error* - which I was able to "sort of" figure out is:
-> *Windows 8.1 update fails with error message 0xC1900101 - 0x30018*
I have followed every steps, in the proper order, of this Toshiba guide, but it didn't help fixing the error:

I then followed recommendation from this thread and was "temporaly" able to update OS to Win 8.1:

The step that worked for me was to remove network cable while installing windows 8.1 as suggested by user "RandyRoberts".
*2nd error:*
*-> Windows 8.1 hangs and system tried to revert changes back to Windows 8*
By unplugging the network cable, I was able to complete the update of Windows 8.1 and run it temporaly.
As soon as I replug the network cable and reconnect to the web, the computer hangs and restarts.
I suppose Windows 8.1 is trying to check the licence status and then refuse to activate it.
Windows ends up trying to revert changes and go back to Windows 8.
It hangs at restart and refuses to reload previous OS (Windows 8), leaving me on a screen with couple options. At this point I can only recover the factory image to be able to restart the system.
These steps have been performed on a freshly reinstalled OS with no additionnal softwares.
All updates and steps have been followed and recheck several times. I am runnning last BIOS available.
I have already saved all my data and burned the recovery disks .

I dont know exactly why this workaround did not function in your case but I would recommend you to start the procedure once again and follow the update as described by harrie_1 user -

Remember security on a TC is an illusion.
Simply press the reset button for 1-2 sec.. you must not do too long .. it will then hard reset.. but soft reset will revert all passwords to default for 5min. ie TC password is now public.
Remember this the next time because anybody at all can change your passwords.
Once into the TC you can then open the view passwords if you wanted any weaker security. Click and open the TC.. and click on edit.. then go to the top menu..
Voila .. all your passwords in plain sight to any Tom Dick and Fred. -

Hi all, since upgrading to Firefox 25 each time I boot Firefox I see briefly the following in a small window whilst it is opening. "Reverted change ..... on general useragent override." What does this mean and if it is a problem how is it rectified? I see the same message on Windows 7 64 bit and 2 LInux Distros.

Is there a keyboard shortcut for this command, as there is one for Delete (Cmd+Delete) in new document closing confirmations?I'm not sure if there is a shortcut (I didn't find one), but if you turn on Full Keyboard Access in the Keyboard system prefs, all controls can be accessed from the keyboard. You can tab through (or arrow keys) the buttons. The active button will be outlined and can be activated with space bar. Since Revert Changes is the first button, it will come up outlined and you can just hit the spacebar to choose it.
