and graphic card is AMD 6470M
Hard Disk is 600 GB
Can I upgrade My grpahic card or Hard Disk space?
If yes , how can i do it?

Graphics card no; not possible at all. Hard drive; yes but only by 40% to 1 TB and as a practical matter only 750gb drives currently have good performance. 1TB drives are big but slow.

Unfortunately, you cannot upgrade the processor or graphics card on this laptop.

You will see down near the bottom of the page that it is not upgradeable. Some laptops come with the processor soldered to the motherboard. Almost all laptop graphics are this way. The only way that you would be able to get a faster processor/better graphics for this laptop would be to purchase a brand new motherboard. You can do an Ebay search for 'HP G6 motherboard' to see what average prices are if you want to go this route.

Can I upgrade my laptop with additional RAM and a SSD Drive.

Hello, Well I am on the following system :- HP Pavilion 14-v015tu Notebook PCModel #: J3Z65PA It has a 4GB RAM and I want to upgarde it with additional 4GB of memory putting it to 8GB of RAM. Also I am on Windows 10 currently the OS is quite slow on my HDD and I have been thinking to switch to SSD.I need help that can i upgrade my laptop with a 512GB SSD and if yes what size and stuff as I cant find information about the form factor,inches,size,etc of my current HDD.Also will it fit properly and stuff? The backup is an issue, but you can always mail your work to your self… but the mail server has to be configured the way that mails are not deleted.
The more elegant way is "MobileMe", you can use it as a storage and save your work there.
Keep in mind, the iPad is limited to what you can do with the Apps, so check first if there are some Apps for the work you need to do…

Hello, I would like to ask, if I can upgrade my laptop's HDD and RAM.
I got a HP dv6-1107ax, with Seagate ST9320320AS ATA Device, and 4.0GB DDR2 @ 400MHz (6-6-6-18). The motherboard is Quanta 3061 (Socket M2/S1G1).
Here's some of my suggested upgrades, for my HDD its the Seagate Momentus® 2.5–Inch Laptop Hard Drive Internal Kit – 7200 RPM, and for the RAM its 4GB DDR2 @ 800MHz.
Please tell me if this is compatible with my Laptop, or suggest your own.

Basically you can, with a cost and I believe this cost may be more expensive than buying a new computer because you have to take into account:
New card price, and WHERE you can buy it because laptop cards are not the same as desktop cards. You can't buy from any normal shop,
Need new system board (may be),
Need new cooling system because generally speaking more powerfull card pumps out more heat (you want more powerfull card don't you?).
May need new PSU because your current PSU may not suitbale to the card. (I ordered a machine with Nvidia card and I needed to order a 90W charger at the same time, not the normal 65W charger. They simply rejected my order).
Labor cost.
Many, many packets of Asprin.

Where can I learn about Laptop hardware/ram/etc information?

First off: I had no idea how to phrase the above question. Sorry if I categorized it wrong...
Here's my predicament:
I was thinking of downloading/purchasing Adobe Creative Suite 6 Production Premium... However, I read the tech specs for it and was immediately frightened! I have literally no comprehension whatsoever of Laptop hardware/processor/ram related things. Does anyone know a good website that can explain those things (EVERYTHING) to me? I don't want to buy/download something that won't work on my laptop!
Sorry if that was really confusing. I can explain more details if anyone needs.

If you want to access to the hardware you have on your Mac, you have "System Information" or "System Profiler" app on your computer. This application is stored on /Applications/Utilities, and you can access here to see a complete report of all the hardware and all your apps.
Just open that app and compare your hardware with the requirements of that application. Note that a 64-bit processor is a Intel Core 2 Duo, Intel Xeon, Intel Core i3, Intel Core i5 or Intel Core i7 processor.
As you have posted this on the MacBook Pro forum, you must note that you need a 15 or a 17-inch MacBook Pro to run that application. If you have a 13-inch one, you can't run it because your MacBook Pro doesn't meet the graphic card requirement of that application

I understand you would like to upgrade both your Dv7’s to have backlit keyboards, is that accurate? I will assist you with finding the necessary information.
Neither laptop has the chance to be upgraded with a backlit keyboard. Checking the services guides for both computers, they do not show the keyboard available. Also looked at the HP PartSurfer and the parts were not available there as well.
When upgrading the keyboard the motherboard as to have the additional plug specifically for the backlit keyboard. Normally that connection is right next to the main connection the keyboard plugs into.

See above - if you have a laptop, then it is almost guaranteed that you cannot upgrade the graphics. It is 100% guaranteed in the case of laptops with Intel integrated graphics, which you have.
I have no idea why a laptop would advertise a PCI-e slot - Perhaps it has a Mini-PCIe slot that a mobile broadband card can be installed into? Or do you mean the ExpressCard expansion slot?
If you don't have a laptop and instead have a desktop, you probably should have posted a new thread rather than to a laptop thread to avoid confusion.

Hello I have an HP envy M6 with and amd A10 Processer running Windows 8. I also have an HP 2000 series running with an amd E-300 APU. My Envy screen is completley broke and no longer working. I dont have the money to get it fixed and too my knowledge the screen is not under warranty. (its only about 3-4 months old at the most though) I have my old 2000 series And I swapped the ram out and got a decent speed boost. What im wondering is if I can replace my E-300 APU with my A-10 so I can increase my processing speed. Im not worried about overheating or power consumption as I have already figured out solutions for those I just need to know if the 2 processer slots are a compatible upgrade. the HP 2000 product

Can I upgrade my laptop processor?

Pretty much what the title says. My processor at current time is having trouble with some games. I want a better one, and I think it's upgradeable. But I have no idea what it can be replaced with, how I ask to replace it, and all that stuff. I know nothing, basically. So, educate me, please. I want a processor that is around 2.4 or 2.5 GHz, and my current one is a 1.3 Hz. The processor is an AMD E-300 APU with Radeon HD Graphics
Also, I guess the graphics card could be nice to have replaced too, but I've heard it's nearly impossible to do with a laptop. If someone could either confirm this, or tell me how to upgrade it as well, I will appreciate it.

Side note: Also, my Print screen key never works on this thing. Any advice there will be nice. I just use the snip tool, which is laborious and inconvenient.

Unfortunately, it is not able to be upgraded. The AMD E-300 is hard soldered to the motherboard. The only way to upgrade is to swap in an Intel motherboard, as that has a socket for it's CPU. The graphics are integrated, so there is no graphics card to replace on your model.
I just finished fixing a C655D for a friend of mine that also has the AMD E-300 hard soldered to the motherboard. They were complaining about it being slow as well(even before they got a virus on it). I went through and turned off processes that start with windows, and uninstalled any bloatware. It runs better now, but I still don't think it would be able to handle newer games.
As for print screen, press "FN"+"PRTSC". Then open up a word document, paint, etc, and select "paste"

I don't know of anyone who ever got a SSD to work on a DV6000.
SATA Native Mode enabled = AHCI.
Support for SATA 1 HDD's only.
