Can I upgrade my phone (contract) and get a sealed iPhone 4 from a verizon store?
Hi guys,
I am a current verizon customer on a family share plan. I will be upgrading one of my lines to an iPhone and extending the contract.
To my understanding, if I purchased the phone online, it would arrive sealed in original packaging(iphone box). I would then open it and activate online and by calling a number.
I would like to know, if I upgrade and purchase the phone at the store, do they have to activate it at the store? Or can I ask for a sealed iPhone and then just activate it at home?
Also, does verizon always keep the phone sealed until they are sold? Or is there a possibility that the store won't have any sealed phones, only open boxes.

Policies can vary, especially if you want to make the purchase at an authorized retailer vs. a corporate store, so you may get different answers depending on the store you visit.

I haven't really heard anything about this, but I suppose it is possible that a store might have a policy to open the boxes when the product arrives to confirm that everything is in order. Again, I think calling the store would be your best bet. Or is there a possibility that the store won't have any sealed phones, only open boxes.

If you are planning on reselling your iPhone (I don't know why you would be so worried about the package being sealed otherwise), you should know that you will need to accept the terms of the contract before you can sell it. Usually with online orders, you do that by activating the phone briefly on the line it was purchased for. I believe that you can also accept the terms by calling in, without opening the box. I would be sure that you get your contract extended properly, because if you do not accept the terms within 30 days of purchase, you will be billed for the full value of the phone.

IF youre talking about Keynote, I dont think any of the presentation software options allow you to "Add a slide" during a presentation.
Since your posting this in the iOS folder of the forums, we can assume further that you are using an iPad or iPhone as the presentation device. In that case, if you tap and hold on a slide during a presentation, you are offered a pen pallete that you can draw on the slides with, but once you hit "Done", it disapears.
As for the Contract, again nothing i know of allows you to do that directly from within the presenation.

You can cancel your service with AT&T or use the SIM card with another phone, or get a new phone with AT&T using the SIM card that shipped with the new phone to activate phone and use the iPhone as an iPod Touch.
In order to install a firmware update on a no longer activated iPhone, or restore a no longer activated iPhone with iTunes if wanted or needed, the no longer activated SIM card must be inserted in the iPhone to complete the process - the SIM card that was used with the iPhone when it was activated. -
I am due for an upgrade on 5/23 and I am trying to find out if I can get my phone through the Apple store? I have an iphone 4 and am hoping to upgrade to a iphone5. Just want to make sure if the price is the same as if I went to a Verizon store to upgrad.
I don't believe they were looking for a trade in, they are due for a subsidized Verizon upgrade. I think the bringing the iPhone 4 was for setting it up and transferring as Verizon does not require you to swap your previous phone for an upgrade.

Upgraded to Yosemite can I upgrade cs2 to cs5 and get it to work
I just upgraded my computer not realizing cs2 would no longer run on Yosemite, can I upgrade my software and get it to work or do I need to buy the whole new software? I am not looking to go to the cloud.
Thanks.You are long past any upgrade eligibility and even if you were to buy a CS6 license, there are compatibility issues with Yosemite. Getting Creative Cloud would make that much more sense...

Also, with home sharing on my apple TV- Can I turn them both on and get the music form both accounts or do I have to use one at a time?

I just broke my iPhone 5 and can't see the screen. I haven't backed up my iPhone to iCloud yet. Is there a way I can remotely back it up so I can restore my new phone (once I get it) faster?
If you plug your phone into your computer you can sync and backup so that when you get the new phone you can restore from a backup instead of setting it up as a new iphone

What is your current plan? In some cases it can be cheaper to move to a More Everything plan with an out of contract line. With More Everything, you will get a $15 per month reduction in line fee with a minimal data.

I have a single line right now, and I attempted to go through my account and "upgrade to a family plan," but when I get to the page where you select the new phone for your second line. The Iphone is nowhere to be found! It allows me to process any other phone with the upgrade to a Family Plan, except the Iphone. When you click the link on the front page to "buy it" it takes you to a whole new set up that only allows you to add an additional line, but no option to add it to a family plan. Is verizon not allowing upgrades to family plans and adding a line with the Iphone? Or will I have to brave the store lines to get this done?

I would go to a store, I think it's just where they have the iphone in a link by itself right now instead of with all the other phones, I would almost be sure you can do this in store without a problem at all. Some people are saying there are actually no lines at stores they've been at so you may get lucky and not have a line at your local verizon store.

I know you are impatient but better to wait until you get home and take your time thus eliminating mistakes.
Connect the iPhone to your computer and follow the onscreen instructions. If you connect the iPhone to another computer first, you will have to re authorize your home computer. You don't want to do that.
