Can I Upgrade Photoshop Elements 4.0, Premiere Elements 2.0 and DW CS3??

I have to upgrade my PC from Windows XT to Windows 8.1.
The computer checks say my existing Adobe programs are not compatible with Windows 8.1.
It is possible to upgrade Photoshop Elements 4.0, Premiere Elements 2.0 and Dreamweaver CS3?
Thanks

You can upgrade to Elements 12 from any previous version.  Just purchase the version you require from either the Adobe website or a store of your choice as either individual programs or as a bundle.

The latest version of Dreamweaver is subscription only however with prices starting at $19.99 per month.

A quick check on the internet however has indicated that Dreamweaver CS3 will run Windows 8.

Do you have the purchased serial number? What computer operating system?
If you purchased from Adobe direct, you can get download installation files from "My Orders" at the Adobe web site under your Adobe ID and Password (http://www.adobe.com).
Alternatively, you can use the following Adobe document with links to the downloads....
    Other downloads
Also, from the following web site as a tryout into which you insert your purchased serial number during installation
Adobe Photoshop Elements 12 Direct Download Links, Premiere too | ProDesignTools
To avoid Access Denied message, follow carefully the web site's "Note: Very Important Instructions".
Just in case note...make sure installation files are for your computer operating system 32 vs 64 bit. Two files (.exe and .7z)

  • Moving Adobe Photoshop Elements 13 & Adobe Premiere Elements 13 to a different PC

I bought a download copy of Adobe Photoshop Elements 13 & Adobe Premiere Elements 13 from Adobe site - and am planning to install on my older desktop and my new laptop.  In few months, I will be upgrading the desktop to a newer model.  Once I upgrade, will I be able to uninstall the Adobe products from the old pc to install on the new one?
or would I be restricted from installing on the new PC?  In that case, I can only install on my laptop and wait till I buy the new desktop for the second install.
    Please advice

Sure you can install PSE on your new machine when you get one.  All you need to do is to "Sign-Out" from the old machine and "sign-in" on the new machine.  To do this, you need to go to:
    Help >> Sign out
    Help >> Sign-in
Make sure the internet is available when you are doing this so that Adobe servers are aware of your actions and record them on their servers accordingly.  You are allowed to install on two machines at any one time.
Make sure your serial numbers are in a safe place and don't publicise them anywhere.  They are yours and yours only.  In particular, don't publish them anywhere, NOT EVEN HERE.
    Hope this helps.

  • Can I have two projects open on Premiere Elements at the same time? (Elements 13 for Windows)

    Hi there.
Can I have two projects open on Premiere Elements at the same time?
The reason I wanna do this is because I've trimmed many hours of clips in one project (One timeline) and I want to start a new project where I have a "clean" timeline and can add clips from the
first project (Cut and paste). Or how do I bring a trimmed clip from one project into another in a easy way?
    Thanks
    -Dan-

Your question is in the Photoshop Elements forum.  There is another forum for Premier Elements and this will probably be moved.
That said, the answer is that Premier Elements has not be designed with the ability to cut and paste from one project to another.  The only "work around" is to "Publish&Share" to a best quality format that matches your project settings.  You can control the output clips with the "work area bars".  You can then add the new clip to the second project.   The output rendering process can, at least in theory, reduce the picture quality.  Depending on formats, settings and footage, it may not be noticeable.
There is a third party product called Clipmate that some say works, but not always with good results.

  • Adobe Photoshop Elements 12 & Adobe Premiere Elements 12

I just purchased Adobe Photoshop Elements 12 & Adobe Premiere Elements 12. I was able to download and open Photoshop Elements 12 but the Premiere Elements 12 is not downloading. Each has a separate serial # and I assume they are two separate softwares, or are they one software that downloads under the name Adobe Photoshop 12 and runs jointly?

Photoshop Elements 12 and Premiere Elements 12 are standalone products. Typically after you download one, you designate the next and do that download.
Since you have purchased serial numbers for each of the products and you have been able to obtain only 1/2 your purchase, best contact Adobe via its Adobe Chat to correct the situation.
    http://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html?product=premiere-elements&topic=downloading-installing -and-setting-up
Click on the above link and, when it opens, click on "I still need help" to get Adobe Chat pop up.
I think that the "Downloading, installing, and setting up" category looks like a good choice. There is also another category that might be useful named "Orders, Refunds, Exchanges". But start with "Downloading, installing, and setting up" and let us see what that Adobe Chat group has to contribute and if it can correct the matter.
Please let us know the outcome.
    Thanks.

  • I can't find the reinstall on Adobe Premiere Elements 11

I can't find the reinstall for Adobe Premiere Elements 11 after it told me to uninstall the program and then reinstall.

    Hi seriously99,
Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Premiere Elements are seperate software. We have to purchase both the software seperately.

  • How can I rebuild my Organizer catalog in Premiere Elements?

The Organizer keeps a catalog of all the media files on your system. In most cases, it will update automatically.
You can also manually update its files by locating the files with broken links (They'll be displaying a "refresh" symbol, red and green arrows in a circle). To update or remove these links, open the full-feature Organizer in Premiere Elements by clicking on the Tagging button under the Organize tab. Then locate the broken link icons, right-click on each and choose the option to update (You'll then be prompted to browse to the file's location) or delete the thumbnail.
As a last resort, you can simply remove the current catalog, forcing Premiere Elements and Photoshop Elements to rebuild it.
To do this, go to C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Adobe\Photoshop Elements\Catalogs\ (In Vista go to C:\ProgramData\Adobe\Photoshop Elements\Catalogs\)and change the name of the folder "My Catalog" to "Old catalog". When you relaunch the program(s), they will recreate the catalog based on the media it locates on your drive(s).

Are you manually copying the .lrcat file from one place to another or are you relying on LR’s backup function to do this?  I would do it manually just to be sure what you’re doing and check the timestamp and size of the copied file and make sure it is the same as the catalog you just copied from.
Also, how are you copying the file from your house to your friend’s house?  Are your computers networked together, somehow, or are you using a thumbdrive/flashdrive, or is the catalog stored on an external USB drive that you copy across?
How are you opening the catalog at your friend’s house, by double-clicking on it, or are you just starting LR and expecting it to remember what catalog to open?
Are these catalogs on the same drive letter at your friends house, either C: or another drive that you’ve configured to be the same drive letter?
To perfect your process, I’d use a catalog with just one photo in it that you adjust each time in some way that is obvious, and see if you can get that to work and once you are confident with that small catalog, do the large one.
A final point of clarification, by LR catalog you are referring to a single large file name yourcatalogname.lrcat, right, and that file is not located in a Backups folder?  You can check the locaton of your catalog file by using LR / Preferences / Catalog Settings / General tab and the first line in the Information section shows the folder where your catalog resides.

What can I do to install Premiere Elements 10?
Buy a new computer. Sorry, no way around it. PRE requires certain processor extensions which - no offense - your computerized toaster doesn't have. Your laptop is seriously underpowered.

  • Transfer problem from Photoshop Elements 9 to Premiere Elements 9

When I transfer a slideshow from Photoshop Elements 9 to Premiere Elements 9, some slides change orientation and appear compressed. How can I avoid this problem?
Also when transfering  from Photoshop Elements, Premiere Elements opens a window to record the name of the project; what is the proper setting for the project? DSLR, interface DV...?
Recording a Blueray with Premiere elements from sequences of slideshows saved as WMV (highest resolution 1024x768) , pictures do not fill the screen. I realize that the photo size (4:3) is different from the TV screen (16:9), and that cropping would be necessary to fill the screen, but is there a format WMV for wide screen or can Premiere Elements do the cropping?  A wide screen ratio would be nice to have in Photoshop Elements cropping toll.
Thanks for any help you can provide.

One problem with orientation is that many viewing/cataloging programs will allow one to change the orientation, but that is only for viewing - no pixels are actually changed. A flag is placed in the metadata, telling many viewers to rotate the image, when viewed. Adobe Bridge, the big-brother to Organizer, and installed with many Adobe suites and programs, does this. It is not until one does a Save for the image, that the rotation is actually applied to the pixels. Until then, it's just an instruction to a viewer on how to display the image.

Nitan15479421 the serial number should not contain letters.  It is likely you received a redemption code.   Please see Redemption Code Help for information on how to redeem your redemption code.
