Can I upload digital camera photos to my ipad

I Have an Olympus OMD E M5 can I upload my photos to my iPad to use photoshop ?

You have to connect to your computer to upgrade to iOS 5. However, after it's installed you will be able to install the next update wirelessly (i.e., no computer connection).

  • Can you upload a single photo to facebook?

Whenever I highlight a photo and click the Facebook button it wants to create and upload the entire project. How can you upload just the photo you are working on?

It keeps asking me if I want to create a Facebook Album called "name of project". It seems to want to use all the photos in the project, not just the one I have highlit.
Also how do I publish a single photo to an already existing facebook album? FB Uploader for Aperture could do all of these things. I could highlight a few shots, and stick them in a pre-existing facebook album. Problem is it's 32 bit.

How do i remove the exif metadata from my jpg file produced with a digital camera photo?

The excellent and free utility Irfanview has the option to remove the EXIF data.
Simply open and the file and do a Save, or Save As with the original name.
Surprisingly, the default is to not keep the original EXIF data.

There was NEVER a button to send directly from photos to facebook. The iPhone has NEVER had facebook integration. Download the facebook app and use that.

  • Can I upload videos to Photo Stream

Can I upload videos to Photo Stream?

Photo Stream IS NOT a backup. It will only show the last 1000 photos taken on your iPhone. And no, you cannot "upload" video to photo stream.
If you need to backup, use iTunes. Your videos will not be backed up, but they will be synched.

Use something such as OmniDiskSweeper (my favorite) or Grand Perspective to find out where large files may be. iCloud isn't going to help much if you've so much data that it won't fit on a 1TB drive. Sounds as if it's time to either buy another drive or at least an external with more space.

  • HT1296 How can I transfer all my photos from my Ipad Mini to my new MacBook Pro

How can I transfer all my photos from my Ipad Mini to my new MacBook Pro
I am facing problem while I connect to my iPad mini with MacBook Pro , it only sync photo from its taken by and from it camera roll only. It doesn't sync all the images... Like my all albums. All photos in library....

To copy photos that were originally synced from a computer you will need a third-party app such as Simple Transfer which can copy them off via your wifi network. But as photos are 'optimised' when they are synced to the iPad, any that you then copy back to a computer may not be exactly the same as they originally were on your computer.
You should also be able to copy albums that you've created directly on the iPad via apps such as Simple Transfer (though I haven't tried it)

  • I uploaded thousands of photos from my ipad to iphoto and now they are nowhere to be found. Where are they?

Hi! I just uploaded thousands of photos from my ipad to my iphoto on my macbook pro and when it notified me that it uploaded successfully and asked if I wanted to delete the photos on my ipad...I stupidly deleted them. But my main problem is that I cannot find these photos ANYWHERE! I searched every event and latest import and there was no luck. It's as if they were never imported in the first place. These photos are dear to me, please help!!!

-This is iphoto '09 version 8.1.2
And what is your MacOS X version?
BUT! I used "Find Any File" demo software and it helped me find the "photos" but they weren't in iphoto, but on my mac(still not too sure where it was found.)
Do you have "Find Any File" still open?
If you click one of the found images, it will show you the path to the image files.Could you post what you are seeing then?
Does the path start with your Home folder or outside? Desrcibe exactly the the names of the nested folders.
Now my new problem is that the photos that were uploaded(or found) are tiny and pixelated. What i'm hoping is that I found a cheap version of the photos that were uploaded or something,
Perhaps you found the thumbnails folder - if you can give us the path there, we may be able to find the matching Masters or Originals folder.

  • Can Digital Camera Photos in PS Elements be Used in Pre Elements?

I have digital photos from my camera saved in my PS Elements program. I want to convert them to a slide show DVD for viewing on a television. I am entirley new to Pre Elements but as I read and look at the tutorials I note they only talk about movie videos which can indeed be converted to DVD's.for television viewing. Can I assume that I can use a digital photo in place of a video strip and follow the directions given in Pre Elements for video strips to accomplish my objective? Or, am I tryng to do somethng Pre Elements is not designed for?
I am using Pre Elements 4 with Photoshop Elements 6.0 on a Vista system. I would greatly appreciate any guidance provided.

In Photoshop Elements 6 how did you save your stills, as .jpeg or .psd? I will not get into a discussion on that now, but the party line is each Save As for .jpeg creates degradation which you avoid by using the still saved as .psd (flattened when ready for use).
Then you need to plan your strategy...
create your slideshow in Photoshop Elements 6 (can include video there, but cannot edit the video there), output it to Premiere Elements 4, using the Output option = Send to Premiere Elements. Once the slideshow is in Premiere Elements 4, you can right click the transfer on the Timeline and select Break Apart Slideshow to give you more editing opportunities. After Edit, you can create an AutoPlay DVD-VIDEO or a DVD-VIDEO with menus.
Main thing to remember is that Photoshop Elements is the photo editor and Premiere Elements is the video editor. I do recommend use of the Timeline in Premiere Elements 4 because I feel it gives you more control since you can see what you are doing better.
You do not have to use Photoshop Elements 6, except for editing your photos. You can use Premiere Elements 4 to create the presentation (stills and videos) as well as generate the DVD-VIDEO. There are always discussions on which way to go. There are some user friendly features of Photoshop Elements (pans & zooms, fit audio to slides...) that push some people that way first. But, Premiere Element does allow you the pans or zooms by presets or by keyframing.
Whatever you do, do not get caught in the oversized photo trap. Please read Steve Grisetti classic FAQ about Photo Resolution:
    http://forums.adobe.com/thread/431851?tstart=0
I would suggest the you learn the basics of Photoshop Elements 6 Premiere Elements 4 first by going through the program's Help PDF Getting Started. Once you are comfortable about that, do some mini project before attempting the grand project. And, if you run into problems doing your mini runs, just ask questions. Just about everyone has been there and done that.
I will be looking forward to your progress.

  • Can't Install Digital Camera Raw 3.6

I am having problems installing Digital Camera Raw 3.6. During the install, I get the message "Digital Camera Raw Compatibility Update can't be installed on this disk. This update provides support for Aperture 3 and iPhoto 9 only".
I purchased Aperture 3 from the Mac App store. In Aperture 3, Digital Camera Raw 3.4 is installed. Software Update does not recognize Digital Camera Raw needs to updated. Help!

Ernie.......yes, the application is Aperture, Mac's photo-image software. I didn't specify as I thought I was posting in the Aperture Forum. I'm not very familiar with these forums, did I miss a step in clarifying my subject?

  • No Item Info (resolution) for Digital Camera photos?

    Hi,
Just imported some photos off my Canon digital camera into my iMac using Image Capture. Looking at at all the Icons for the photos in Finder, I've noticed none of them have their resolution written below them, even though I've got "Show Item Info" ticked.
If someone can explain to me why this, I'd like to know. Any pictures I download from the Internet automatically have their resolution written below them in Finder. But for photos that've come from my own camera, they don't.

The only time I see this is when the images are in a folder that is not indexed by Spotlight. Thus, I have a folder on a drive that has Spotlight disabled for that drive, and the same folder on my startup drive. The pixel dimensions appear when I open the folder my startup drive, they do NOT appear when I open the folder on the other drive. If the folder the pix are in is excluded from Spotlight search you won't see the dimensions displayed in the Finder window. I would guess that the folder the downloaded items are in is indexed, the one from the camera is not.

  • Can No Longer Get Camera Photos After Installing Mountain Lion

After installing Mountain Lion, I am no longer am able to see pictures from my digital camera thru the USB port.  This camera has worked for years with my iMac, but not anymore.  Anybody else having this issue after installing the newest system?
    Dick

    Paul_31:
I have not tried to import the photos directly into iPhoto.  However, I did remove the SD card from the camera and plug it into a USB card reader, and my iMac would NOT read the photos that way either.  I took the camera and plugged it into my Win. 7 laptop and the pictures showed up nicely, so I know the camera and the card are Ok.  My iMac has been working strangely since I installed Mountain Lion.  I'm getting lockups using iMovie too.
