Can i use 2 ipad's on the same itunes account with different apple accounts?

Both me and partner have an ipad 4. Though we only have one computer, can we use the same itunes but with different apple acount without any issues? We use some of the same apps, but my partner plays fx Baldus Gate and is worries that save files will be corrupted.

Each iPad should be linked to its owner's personal, private and nonshared AppleID. In the Mac, each one should have a different login account so each has their own iTunes Library containing your iPad's details. When you use iTunes on the Mac, since each logs in with a different login and corresponding Home directory, iTunes picks up the correct AppleID.

Yes, you can have as many devices - iPhones, iPods, iPads - as you like using the same iTunes account.

  • How can my wife and I add photo to the same photo stream with different apple ID's?

My Wife and I are having  baby and we would like to both be able to add photos to her shared "baby" photostream.  We have different apple ID's.  Is this possible and how can we do it?
    Thanks!

No, you would have to share the same apple id.  FAQ photostream http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4486
You could do this have your wife import the pics to the computer http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083 , then you can sync those pics to your phone using itunes.
Or use dropbox, there should be an app.

  • How do I copy iTunes purchases from one iTunes library to another stored on the same computer but with different apple ID's?

I recently set up a new iTunes account for my son by giving him his own Apple ID & own login on the Mac we own.
In addition I have an existing iTunes account with a different Apple ID & different login on the same Mac.
We would like to share some purchases but do not know how to copy or import certain files. The summary is two
different apple ID's, different iTunes libraries, on the same computer, but different parts of the hard drive.
    Please advise. Thanks.

Load the library which doesn't contain the songs and drag them into the open iTunes application window. If you need to move them between different computer user accounts, put them into /Users/Shared/.

  • Can i use 2 devices on the same itunes

i have just recieved a new iphone 3gs and i have given my girlfriend my old 3g. i was wondering if there was any way i could transfer the stuff from old phone to my new one and add it on to the itunes i have already.
    help please

Yres you can use as many devices as you like with one library, each one will have it's own settings and be recognised as a unique device by iTunes: How to use multiple iPods/iPhones with one computer
If you have songs on the old phone that aren't in iTunes you need to copy them back to the library and then add them to the new one. iTunes will only give you the option to copy your iTunes Store purchases directly from an iPod to the computer, you'll find details in this article: Copying iTunes Store purchases from your iPod or iPhone to a computer
Purchased applications can be downloaded over again, see this article for details: How to redownload purchased applications from the App Store
For everything else (music from CDs etc.) there are a number of third party utilities that you can use to retrieve the music files and playlists from your iPod Touch or iPhone. You'll find that they have varying degrees of functionality and some will transfer data (such as playcounts and ratings), movies, videos, photos, podcasts and games as well.

My wife and I both have iPhones and iPads. Can we both have access to the same iTunes Match library or do we have to have separate subscriptions?  Our devices are synced to the same computer and we currently download titles from the same library.  We both use separate apple id's on our devices.

You need to reconfigure your phone for use with your Apple ID. I suggest you restore yours as new then reconfigure it with your information and Apple ID. Be sure to disable Find My Phone, if it's enabled, before proceeding.

    Hi gmsunshine,
Yes, it's possible to do this kind of thing. There are a few different methods in doing this kind of thing.

  • My gen 3 iPod Touch seems to have duplicated all my music since updating to IOS 5 so that it now only holds half as much. What can I do about it? I'm using the same iTunes library with OS 10.6 and all software up to date.

Is the camera damaged? Could be a hardware problem.
    Try:
Close the Camera app in the multitasking bar, then try again.
Restart/Reset/Restore your iPod. In that order.

  • HT1386 Can i sync multipler iOS devices like iPad, iPhones on the same iTunes? Can each iOS device have different contents which are subsets of the iTunes complete library

Can i sync multipler iOS devices like iPad, iPhones on the same iTunes? Can each iOS device have different contents which are subsets of the iTunes complete library

You can share a library with as many devices as you want but they cannot have seperate subsets like you wish. They would all have access to all information in the library. You could "Manually" sync content to each device by doing the following:
On Mac: iTunes > Preferences > Devices Tab > Put a check in the box next to sentence that says "Prevent iPods, iPhones, and iPads from syncing automatically > Then click ok.
On Pc: Edit > Preferences > Devices Tab > Put a check in the box next to sentence that says "Prevent iPods, iPhones, and iPads from syncing automatically > Then click ok.
To manually sync data from iTunes to devices see article below:
If you do not want all devices to have access to all the media from the main library, you would need to create a library for each device. See the article below for more info:
    Hope this helps.

i currently have an iphone that i connect to my mac air to download music, i have now bought a nano for my wife can we use both devices on the same air without any problems???

My wife and I both have the iPhone 4 and it's actually pretty simple. Add another user on your MBA (her) and she can use the other iTunes when she is logged in. The iTunes is empty and will erase her iPhone, so be sure that she syncs her iPhone, then back up her library onto a portable media device like I did (SD Card) and reload it onto her empty iTunes on your MBA before she attempts to sync with it.
    Works well...
