Can I use a blackberry (full functional from 2008) for the droid turbo 100$ trade in promotional value?

no pieces are missing, turns on fine.

screenfreak, great question! As long as the smart phone is in good working condition then yes, you would be able to use that device for the trade in. Take a look here for the details http://www.verizonwireless.com/b2c/splash/electronicdevicerecycling.jsp.

Can I use an Adobe Professional license from 2008 with the current version of Adobe Acrobat XI Pro?

With "license" you mean serial number?  If that serial number was for a different Acrobat version (e.g. 9), you cannot use it for the current version XI.
You can however use it to purchase an upgrade from http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat.html

  • Can I use my 2TB WD My Book Essential for the Time Machine feature on the MacBook as well as two other Windows computers (one running 7 and one with Vista)?

Can I use my 2TB WD My Book Essential for the Time Machine feature on the MacBook as well as to store information from two other Windows computers (one running 7 and one with Vista)?

Yes you can but you need to partition the drive into at least 2 separate drives.
To do that you need to use a Windows PC to do the first partitioning. Say you split the drive into two partitions each 1TB (or close to 1TB) each.
Partition fand format both partitions on a Win PC as one NTFS and the other FAT32.
Then move it to the Mac and Reformat the FAT32 partition Mac Extended (Journaled) with a GUID Partition Table.
I have that same drive and that is what I did originally with it. I now have it just for the Mac as I have other externals for the Win systems.
    Good Luck.

  • Can I use iphone 4s USB cable to recharge for the new ipad

Can I use iphone 4s USB cable to recharge for the new ipad

The iPod, iPad & iPhone cables are identical, however, the chargers are not.
The quickest way (and really the only way) to charge your iPad is with the included 10W USB Power Adapter. iPad will also charge, although more slowly, when attached to a computer with a high-power USB port (many recent Mac computers) or with an iPhone Power Adapter (5W). When attached to a computer via a standard USB port (most PCs or older Mac computers) iPad will charge very slowly (but iPad indicates not charging). Make sure your computer is on while charging iPad via USB. If iPad is connected to a computer that’s turned off or is in sleep or standby mode, the iPad battery will continue to drain.
Apple recommends that once a month you let the iPad fully discharge & then recharge to 100%.
How to Calibrate Your Mac, iPhone, or iPad Battery
    http://www.macblend.com/how-to-calibrate-your-mac-iphone-or-ipad-battery/
At this link http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/galaxy-tab-android-tablet,3014-11.html , tests show that the iPad 2 battery (25 watt-hours) will charge to 90% in 3 hours 1 minute. It will charge to 100% in 4 hours 2 minutes. The new iPad has a larger capacity battery (42 watt-hours), so using the 10W charger will obviously take longer. If you are using your iPad while charging, it will take even longer. It's best to turn your new iPad OFF and charge over night. • Can I use a $10 prepaid card from Walmart for unlimited texting on the iPhone 5?

I want an iPhone 5g SUPER bad! I was wondering if I can just pay for the Walmart prepaid cards that are Verizon and $10 and gives you unlimited texting. (Note: I'm only 15.) So, it has to be cheap because I don't think I can make up about $100 in a week. Yeah most of you are probably thinking have your parents pay for it! Be there, asked that. And just what I get each time? A NOO and a smile and a nod. So please come up with a cheap answer.(: So, could I just go to Walmart, get a $10 Verizon prepaid card for unlimited texting each month, and yeah... Have no problem or do I have to spend thousands of dollars each week? Thanks for your answers and remember since I'm only 15... It has to be cheap cause I'm the one whose more than likely paying for it all by myself.. Thanks. (And please make your answer give me a smile!!!) like this -> :'D

    1. Yes, you can go right now and use a GSM SIM card in your Verizon iPhone 5.  Note that you will have a different phone number when you do this.
You are not using a SIM card for CDMA in the US.  The SIM card in the device is used for LTE in the US.
CDMA and GSM are different types of cellular technology.
    2. If you are still under contract, then you would need to be the ETF (Early Termination Fee) for your account.  Then you would simply need to get whatever SIM card you desire for service in China.
    http://www.verizonwireless.com/b2c/support/customer-agreement
What Happens if My Postpay Service Is Canceled Before the End of My Contract Term?
If you're signing up for Postpay Service, you're agreeing to subscribe to a line of Service either on a month–to–month basis or for a minimum contract term, as shown on your receipt or order confirmation.  (If your Service is suspended without billing, that time doesn't count toward completing your contract term.) Once you've completed your contract term, you'll automatically become a customer on a month–to–month basis for that line of Service. If you cancel a line of Service, or if we cancel it for good cause, during its contract term, you'll have to pay an early termination fee.  If your contract term results from your purchase of an advanced device, your early termination fee will be $350 minus $10 for each full month of your contract term that you complete. Otherwise, your early termination fee will be $175 minus $5 for each full month of your contract term that you complete.  Cancellations will become effective on the last day of that month's billing cycle, and you are responsible for all charges incurred until then.  Also, if you bought your wireless device from an authorized agent or third–party vendor, you should check whether they charge a separate termination fee.

Is it possible to use the Memory Stick Pro from Sony in the SDXC slot on the MacBook Pro?

How could anyone "take it wrong"? Anyone can see at a glance that you're raging mad, shouting at the top of your lungs and ignoring the terms of use you agreed to abide by in posting here, all because you haven't read the guide that came with your computer and you're trying to make it do something it can't. • Can't use iMac running OS 9.0.4 for the internet

Hi! I appreciate any help you can give me. I've got an older iMac that I just want to use to access the internet for my kids. Here is all the info from the machine I can think might be useful:
Mac OS: 9.0.4, Mac OS ROM 5.5.1
    Processor: PowerPC G3
    Speed: 400MHz
    Build-in Memory: 64MB SDRAM
    Video Memory: 8MB
    Backside L2 cache: 512K
    Harddrive: ATA, 10.20GB
Like I said, I just want to use it for internet access, but as far as I can tell, there are no up-to-date OS 9 browsers, and NONE of them will run any web page my kids want to visit that have Java, Flash, etc., which is 99.999% of the web-sites. In other words, the computer is useless as-is for what I want it to do. As far as I can tell, I need to update to OS X to get a browser that anyone bothers to update, but to do that, I need to update the RAM on the machine. I can free-update to the base version of OS X from the apple web-site, right? How much will a 512MB memory card run me? What's the cheapest source? Since I am the furthest thing from a Mac expert you have ever met, I could easily be WAY off on any of my assumptions, so any advice is greatly appreciated.
    Two tangential questions:
    (1) Someone told me that back when I bought the machine (I bought it from my local Apple computer store) the memory should have been upgraded for free. Was I ripped off by the retailer?
    (2) I noticed in my research that my particular model - a slot loading "red" iMac with the specifications I outlined above, should have come with a DVD-Rom. However, my machine has a CD-ROM. Was I ripped off by the retailer?
Thanks again for any help & advice.
    MacBook   Mac OS X (10.4.8)

Welcome to the Apple Computer Discussions! With the release of the iPhone, the Discussions are a disaster area!
If your iMac has a slot-loading CD, it is readily expandable without too much fuss. If it is a tray-loader, it must be thoroughly dis-assembled to make the upgrades.
One of these may be its official spec:
    http://support.apple.com/specs/imac/iMacSlotLoading.html
    http://support.apple.com/specs/imac/iMacEarly2001.html
If so, there are two desktop-Mac style DIMM slots on its bottom under an easily removable door.
This vendor has a very good memory selector, good prices, and good service. I especially like that they tell you what they are shipping, and that what they deliver is true to their promise:
    http://www.datamemorysystems.com/G3iMacMemory.asp
Unfortunately, you cannot update to Mac OS X (any version) by free download -- you will have to buy a set of CDs, and you should not pay money for anything before 10.2 Jaguar at the absolute minimum. 10.3 Tiger is more stable, easier to install, faster and more pleasant to use, and has much more software available to run with it, including printer drivers and utilities. It is similar to 10.4, but is missing some scripting, desktop Widgets, Spotlight searching and indexing, and a few other features you may or may not crave.
You will need a "Full Retail" CD set, with a black or white background and a large stylized X on the face. Orange or Gray CDs will not be adequate -- they are for other specific Macs, not yours. You can trawl eBay and other secondary sources for the best bargains, or shop from this seller has what you want at pretty good prices, shipping included, and good service:

  • Can Acrobat create forms which pull info from Excel for the fields?

Any suggestions on how to create multiple documents using fields from an Excel spreadsheet? I need to create over 400 of the same document but need personal information in each one, so not sure if this is something which I can do with Acrobat or if I need to find another option.  Any suggestions are welcome.  Thanks

    Try to simply add
    total_overaward;
as the last line in that formula.
By the way, I don't think you need an array approach here.  You can simply use a formula that accumulates the values into a variable.

  • Im going in europe , can i use my canadian ipad with an adaptor for the 220

    i'm going to Spain tonight
i bought an adaptor to the 220
can i use my ipad on it
my ipad is on 110 volts

Electrically there is no problem at all.  If you can read the printing on the charger (good luck!), you'll see that it works with 100-240V, 50/60Hz.  However, you will probably need a mechanical adapter so that the prongs fit into the receptacle.Apple has a travel kit that's ideal but there may also be less expensive solutions.

  • Can I use a mac app store gift card for the mobile app store?

If I purchase an Appstore gift card for the Mac App store, does the credit also apply to itunes, and the regular iOS App Store?

The iTunes Store and Mac App Store use the same user database, so any credit in your account can be used in either place. Gift cards, while they may be labeled as one or the other, are actually identical and can be redeemed though either the iTunes Store or the Mac App Store.
Note, though, that gift cards for the Apple Store are completely different and cannot be used in either the iTunes Store nor the Mac App Store.

  • Can I use Balance in Apple ID to pay for the Developer Program?

I have a little over 100$ in my Apple ID account, and I was wondering if I could ues this as a substitute for paying with a credit card when it comes to enrolling as a paid apple developer (with features like testing my app on my iPhone, and not the iPhone Similator on Xcode). Also, is there any way to get my name as the person shown when people go to buy the app? I am under 18, so people have said on other threads that I must use a parents' name. I would prefer not to use my parents' since they no little how to code and I value recognition. Help?

You must use a credit card  registered with your name and address.
    There is no other option.
