Can I use a higher capacity battery in Lumia 520 - Windows Phone ...

You can, if you can find one with the right size and voltage. There's always a risk with third-party accessories, you should judge that for yourself.

You should be able to use the battery if you get a car type charger which recharges mobile devices.
The full size iPads use a 10-12W charger, whereas the mini uses a 5W charger. Many car chargers only supply 5W. But at 5W, the car charger should give you some extra time on your iPad. It would be best to use a 10-12W car charger.

  • Can I use the connection capacity of FMIS to estimate the FMS Enterprise?

    Hi,
Can I use the capacity of FMIS to estimate the maximum connection of FMS Enterprise?
Even bandwidth and latency of RTMFP are minimum. FMS Enterprise may still need to monitor each peer when using RTMFP connections.
So can I use the connection capacity of FMIS to estimate the FMS Enterprise?
    Thanks.

    Bryan,
Smokerz was suggesting that you temporarily bring the Express upstairs, connect it & configure it, and then take it back down stairs again.
    As for your desired setup:
Actually, if configured correctly, your Time Capsule should the source of your network and the Express should be the devise joining/extending it. This is the way I have it set up. However, you seem to want to configure it the other way around. Not very practical.
Take a look at the following thread for a discussion on this:

  • Can't use WIFI and the battery consumption goes much faster

I can't use WIFI after my iphone4s was updated to ios6.0  and the battery consumption goes much faster, how to solve ?

This seems to be a problem relatet to the current versions of the app. After uninstalling Spotify I installed an older version, 2.8.0.1081, which worked perfectly with wifi. No newer versions seem to work so I hope there will be a fix soon. I've tried changing the UPnP as well as NAT filtering settings, but the newer versions of the app still wont work.

  • Higher capacity battery for N82?

Hi, wondering if there are batteries available for the N82 than the 1050mAh BP-6MT battery?
Just now I've got an unmetered internet package, use the bluetooth more and regularly listen to music on my n82, I can run out of battery within a day!

Phones are designed to work with the battery they ship with and no others.
You may find a battery from an alternative manufacturer that has a greater capacity than the original Nokia battery, but you are exposing yourself to risk by using it. Many of these so-called compatible batteries are in fact manufactured to shoddy standards and seem fairly prone to leakage and even explosion in some cases. Quite apart from the health hazard, any damage to your N82 caused by such a battery would immediately void the N82's warranty.
The best solution by far is to purchase a second BP-6MT and carry it around charged. If the one in the phone does go flat, no worries. Just switch the phone off and replace it. When you get home, charge both up.

  • IBM Thinkpad 600 - Using a higher capacity Harddisk

    Hello,
I have a Thinkpad 600E that I guess has a limitation of 6 GB. I fried up the old harddisk which was a Hitachi make so got a used IBM Travelstar harddisk from my friend, which is  20 GB.
I want to know if I can use this right away on the laptop, format it and install the OS or would I need to update the BIOS so as to be compatible with a 20 GB harddisk ?
Would I need a firmware update for this HDD as well ? I guess this disk been lying around in the spare bin for a while.
Also if there is a solution to the above, would I be able to use only 6 GB of the harddisk (because IBM 600E has a limitation of 6GB) or can the BIOS update help me use the full 20 GB of this ?
Note: If it helps, I put the harddisk in and ran a test from the BIOS set up page on all the components and the HDD came as OK.
Please help me with this one and thanks a lot.
    Alex

FYI, I installed 160GB HDD to my 600E which is running Ubuntu 6.06. Works OK.

  • Can I use my notebook without battery inserted?

    Hi,
please can I connect my Notebook to the mains and work with it if the batterie is not inserted in it's box in the device?

    Hello
Its absolutely no problem using the notebook with AC/DC adapter only if no battery is inserted. :)
Battery is only necessary if your notebook isnt connected to mains.

  • How can I use both high def (16:9) and regular def (4:3) in the same video?

I'm editing a load of video, some of it was shot in 16:9 high-def and some in 4:3 regular-def. Id really hate to see the 4:3 footage go to waste. What can I tack on to the black sidebars on either end of this footage to fill in the gaps? I've also seen on TV where the sidebars on old 4:3 footage is blurred out by video from that particular frame. How can I do this?

Just duplicate the footage and superimpose.
Stretch the underlaying footage to fill the screen and add a blur.

  • Where can I buy battery for Lumia 520?

Just purchased the phone today. Looks OK but amazingly I am unable to locate "genuine" NOKIA batteries for it anywhere. Do you know where I can buy them? ?  (Plenty of third parties advertise on the Internet but I pref Nokia brand batteries.)

Moderator's note: The subject was amended as the we provide an easy to search title for the post.

Thanks. The Nokia battery is not a commonly availble item. I guess most people buy generic but I prefer to use the correct item. (Perhaps the quick "charge" devices cause most folks to recharge and not want an extra  battery or two.Not sure, too new to this game.)

  • N8 high capacity extended life battery

    Hello
as all N8 users know, the standard 1200 mAh battery is not powerful enough. Two questions for you:
    - where can I buy a higher-capacity, reliable battery?
    - has anyone used the following 1500 mAh battery (no English brand name) which is currently on sale at ecrater.co.uk:
    http://www.ecrater.co.uk/p/13538311/1500mahhigh-capacitybattery-for-nokia-bl4d-n97#
    Thanks for your feedback.
(Btw, I know that replacing the N8's battery yourself voids the warranty)

    Hi WhosThere,
Please keep in mind that replacing the battery yourself in Nokia N8 will void the warranty of the device. Also discussing the methods how to do that or otherwise modify the hardware or the software of device is not allowed on Nokia Discussions. Please refer to the forum Guidelines.
For the best performance on your Nokia phone, always make sure to purchase an original Nokia battery from a reliable, Nokia-authorized store. Please have a look at this link: Batteries.

  • Can I use Nokia AC-16 charger for my Lumia 620?

    Hi guys, first post here.
    I couldn't find this anywhere, however i have both a Lumia 920, and a 620.
I just find it wierd that my white 620 comes with a black AC-50 charger rated for 1.3A and my black Lumia 920 comes with a white AC-16 rated for 1.0A.
I'm lending my 620 to my gf for a while and i read on the Nokia Lumia 920 user guide that both an AC-50 and AC-16 can be used to charge it, great!
But the Lumia 620 user guide states to use an AC-50, no mention of the AC-16.
So, anyone here with experience can tell me if i can, infact use an AC-16 for my Lumia 620? It makes more sense to swap them around.
    Thanks

AC-16 is compatible to the Nokia Lumia 620 so it's okay to use it as mentioned by adrianhughes.
AC-20, AC-50 and AC-50U are the other compatible USB chargers for the said phone. Cheers.

  • Can I use the battery from 4gb Zen Micro Photo in the 8gb Zen Micro Pho

Can I use the 3.7V Li-ion Polymer Battery 680mAh in my 8gb Zen Microphoto? The 8gb came with a 3.7V Lithium Ion Battery 830mAh.

    rrochlis,
The mAh is a measure of a battery's total capacity. The higher the number (ex. 600 mAh, ,500 mAh) the more charge the battery can hold and usually, the longer a battery will last under a certain load. If you're going to use a lower mAh battery, you will get shorter playback time.
