Can I use a POP email account on an iPhone

I have a POP email account. I use it on my iMac. My Mail settings are to delete emails as soon as I've downloaded them.
Can I set up my email account on my iPhone? Can the two devices synch my email? i.e. if I send an email from my iMac will this email show up in my iPhone sent mailbox / if I delete an email from my phone will it also be deleted from my iMac / will emails sent to me go to both devices?
Remember this isn't an IMAP account with emails residing on a server, but a POP account that neither stores sent or received emails.

POP does not provide for synchronization between clients. Only IMAP or Exchange accounts do that. By default, POP will delete from the server as soon as it's downloaded, meaning that if your computer downloads it, it can not be downloaded to your phone and vice versa. It is possible to configure some POP mail clients not to delete messages from the server after downloading, but not all servers will honor this request.
POP is generally considered obsolete. Especially in the world of mobile devices and multiple computers.
If your email provider does not support IMAP, you may want to look for a new one.
You could conceivably use a free service that supports IMAP, like gmail, to gather in the mail from the mail service you're using now.

Your mail account shouldn't take up very much of the capacity on your phone and you can't purchase more of it. So I'm thinking you might be talking about iCloud backup storage. If that's the case, you can change some of the info that goes into your icloud backup and reduce its size from settings > icloud > backup and storage > manage storage

I am going to select "Others" and then my user name, password and "next".
Then IMAP and POP settings screen is coming. I am going to select "POP" with my incoming and outgoing server details.
And finally I am going to proceed with "save".... So... pupff........ it is going, closing, kicking me out. Maybe 20-25 times since yesterday I try it but no win.
What should I do for these my friends. This is my business email... It was working before in iPhone 5s and afte iPhone 6 I make reset for 5s.
I try later on for 5s again. It make me the same thing also. They are not allowing me to add a new pop email address.

I have a Power Mac 5 WITHOUT an intel processer/ I have updated my computer to snow lepord which is as far as I can go.
I think you updated to Leopard/10.5.x, Snow Leopard/10.6 is Intel only.
Actually you're in luck, you can still use iCloud for eMail on PPC using 10.4.11 or 10.5.8, but it must be IMAP, not POP...

One secret I think is when setting it up don't choose the .me/.mac type, it'll auto fill in .mac as the server which won't work, go back afterwards & change the servers.

Yes, just set the same account up on both devices. Make sure it is setup as IMAP (not POP3) so that the first person to check the email account each time doesn't download all the email from the server.

Im pretty sure you can have more than one itunes account on your iPhone, might have to sign out of one in order to use the other(for downloading app or music probably). Although if you only mean to transfer your purchases from one account to another then I wouldn't have an answer, but most likely you can sync what you have on you're pc to you're iPhone since it has already synced with that computer previously.

Absolutely. Although you can only have one primary iCloud account, you'll need to add secondary accounts from system preferences > mail, contacts & calendars.

The ability to password protect email accounts in the Mail app isn't currently possible (apart from going into Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars and removing/adding the password) as the iPad is essentially a single user device. Yes you can. You can subscribe to a service that lets you use their pop and smtp servers and checks Hotmail for you. For all intents and purposes, it's as if Hotmail is coming directly to your phone. Look at http://izymail.com for one. They even have a free version.
