CAN I USE A PROGRESSBAR WITH A SERVICE DOWNLOAD?

I know that I can, just not sure if I can do it the way that I want. In an AIR app, I have three dropdownlists that are populated by a service call that then displays media associated with the dropdownlists. I do not want the user to have to wait and watch the dropdownlists get loaded and the media pop up slowly. So I wanted to use a progressbar before I display the results. The problem is that I would prefer the progressbar to progess smoothly based on the number of bytes it downloads or records that it is trying to download from the database. So far, the only way that I can think to use the progressbar is to update it when the callresponder gets its result. That would mean that since I have 3 dropdownlists, my progessbar would only get updated 3 times when it gets the 3 results from the callresponders. Sounds a little boring. I am wanting to know if there is any way to get more detailed information from the service or callresponder to let me know how many records it is trying to download or how many bytes it is trying to download? Is it possible to get this information, or just the 3 result updates from the three callresponders?

I'm curious about this as well. Only difference is that I want to implement one a datagrid being populated rather than a dropdown.

No, the iTunes Music Store is not a subscription. It's a single-time pay; once you buy a track, you own it forever. Subscription sites are ones where you pay every month (or whatever) to listen to the tracks they make available. If you stop paying, you lose access to all the tracks.
And if you pay for a song, why wouldnt you be able to burn it onto a cd, or do they just let you put it on your pc?
It depends on the site. Not all allow you to burn audio CDs, even if you pay outright for the track. None of the subscription services allow burning to audio CD.

Napster yes. Bearshare is a Gnutella client which is just another P2P network like Limewire, and similarly consists mostly of pirated tracks, viruses, worms and trojans.

For instance, you said you were using a corporate network, but you never said whether or not you'd addressed the issue with your network administrators, something that Toonz asked you two or three times. If your company's firewall is blocking the addresses and ports needed to connect to the iTMS, there's nothing you nor Apple can do to fix the problem.

How can I use the DBAdapter with SequencingPollingStrategy in OSB Cluster?

I have a OSB cluster. I need to read a view with the DBAdapter. I use SequencingPollingStrategy to implement the adapter.
Then I import it into OSB and make it work and the service works normally in the single node.
But if I import it into OSB cluster, the service always read the duplication records from the view.(the Distrbute polling is not worked in SequencingPollingStrategy )
So how can I use the DBAdapter with SequencingPollingStrategy in OSB Cluster?

STEPS IN DESIGN
1. Import idoc from the SAP System (SAP02) through imported objects.
2. Create Data Type, Message Type, Message Interface for the Outbound File.
3. Create Message Mapping with file Message and idoc (Matmas04)
5.Create Interface mapping between File Interface and the idoc.
Steps to be followed in Creation of Technical and Business System
Technical System
In SLD, click on technical landscape->New Technical System->WebAS ABAP.
Business System.
1.Goto Business Landscape->New Business System->Name the business system.
2. Choose the technical system that needs to be attached->WebAS ABAP->Technical System Name.
Preconfiguration steps for transfer of data to IDOCS
1.Create a RFC Destination in SM59 of XI Server of type.
2.In transaction IDX1 ,create a port for the client of XI server.
3. The port has to be displayed in the idx2 transaction and we should be able to view the idocs which we imported through integration repository.
Steps in Configuration
1. Goto service without party, right click->Assign a business system.
2. Choose the business system to be added.
3. Create a File Sender Service with communication channel for the same.
4. Create an idoc receiver channel under the business system.
7. The Idoc type( which data is to be written) is mentioned as inbound parameter.
8. Mention the logical Name in the Service->Adapter Specific Parameters of both the File Sender Service as well as the business system.
9. Make the Sender Agreement for theFile Sender with communication channel.
10.Create the Receiver Determination and Interface Determination for the business system.
11.Create the Receiver Agreement for the Business system.

As I said, the 10-fc12-045d error would not be due to the drive's being AFT, but more likely the discs are not being read properly. New discs can be obtained from Toshiba. Scroll down to Get Recovery Media here

I can't help you with a direct answer. For third-party devices you should contact the vendor (Vodafone).
If you have an iPhone (or an Android phone with hot-spot capability) you can use that to connect to the Internet without paying for a separate cellular service.

I see you are stilll unsuccessful installing the drivers as you get the blue screen.

No, nothing will prevent the computer from going to sleep when you close its display except third-party hacks that are designed to do exactly that. I strongly advise against using any of those, as they may interfere with successful entry into clamshell mode (and they carry other downside risks as well). Just wait until the computer is asleep (with its sleep light pulsing), then press any key on the keyboard. It sounds as though your setup is working as it's designed to do.

My partner has a works iPad, which has her works Apps on (ones that are specifically made by her company and are NOT available in the App store).
What I want to be able to do is to ALSO have my itunes account on there so that I can put all the apps I have purchased previously from my iPhone on it.
This is so I can put on VLC player (thats already in my itunes account) so I can add videos to the iPad.
How do I do this please?
I tried it before by connecting it to my mac, but it wiped everything off the iPad completely and also deleted the data settings for using 3G.
So I want to avoid this happening again the future as it had to be sent back to her head office to be sorted again.

You can't. The iPad is desgined to be a 'one user' device and only really works with one apple ID at a time.
The only way would be if she, at work and with her work apple id, downloaded your apps (repurchasing them of course).
It's not meant to be a multiple user/multiple ID device.
