These category charts may have a shared category axis (x) and two value (y) axes.
This is the choice at the bottom of the Chart button's menu.

There is a 2-axis chart in the chart chooser.
A good place for ideas is Template Chooser > Basic > Charting Basics and open the 2-Axis Chart tab.
Click around and Format Panel will show how things were done.

Can I use a secondary display via wireless router?

I plugged a secondary display into my wireless router (Belkin). The display has several USB ports on it. I filled those USB ports with:
External hard drive (Toshiba)
Printer (Epson)
Mouse (??)
Keyboard (Dell)
The iMac found the hard drive, printer, mouse and keyboard instantly. I can access the hard drive perfectly from the iMac. The printer works perfectly from the iMac. The mouse also works perfectly from the iMac. The keyboard doesn't work yet, but at least it shows up on the iMac as an option.
Oddly the display itself does not seem to be recognized by the iMac. Any idea how to use the secondary disply via the wifi connection? The secondary monitor is a Dell.

Well there is an "Air Display" app that will let one iMac use another device as a WIRELESS secondary display monitor (http://avatron.com/apps/air-display). What I keep finding is that the secondary display device seems to be a complete device (hard drive, flash memory, software, etc).
So an iMac CAN use another iMac or iPod or PC or Tablet as a secondary, wireless display device.
What I can't figure out is if a stand alone display device can be activated in the exact same manner. I have Air Display installed on my iMac, but there is no way to install similar hardware on a simple peripheral.
The secondary display has its own power source and is powered on. As I said the secondary display has several peripherals connected to it that can all be used wirelessly by the iMac. Only the display device between the wifi router and the peripherals cannot be detected. All the other hardware came on-line instantly.

Can I use a scanner with iPad Numbers?

I can pair a bar code scanner (Socket Mobile brand) with an iPad 1 , but I can't scan in anything into Numbers.
A coworker was able to do it, but he is no longer here to ask.

Well, that didn't work. I can't scan into a text document on the iPad either. But the Socket Mobile app recogizes and tests the scanner just fine. One thing I noticed is that the keyboard on screen doens't go away when the scanner is connected, if that's a sign of anything.

Without knowing any real specifics and not having used a wireless keyboard myself, I would ask you - did you pair the keyboard with the iPad via Bluetooth? Does the keyboard work at all?
I do not have a wireless keyboard but I see no reason why it shouldn't work with any app or for anything that you want to do on the iPad. Maybe you can be more specific as to exactly what is happening.

How do I initialize a secondary axis with report generation vi's

It looks like you are trying to view two groups of data in the same
graph, and then send that graph to a report.
If your two columns of data are in separate arrays, you can use the
�Build Array� function to combine those arrays into a two-dimensional
array (see �Graph Waveform Arrays.vi� example, which can be found
under Help >> Find Examples).
A two-dimensional array can be wired directly into a graph. The two
arrays will show up on the graph as different plots (in different
colors), both on the y-axis. The data in the 10 range will show up
lower than the data in the 100 range.
If you want to plot your two data columns against each other on
different axis, wire a two-dimensional array into an �XY Graph� (see
�XY Graph.vi� example, which can be
found under Help >> Find
Examples).
To view a graph in a report using a report generation VI, use the
�append front panel image to report� VI. The LabVIEW Report
Generation Toolkit for Microsoft Office will provide more report
functionality for adding graphs to Word and Excel, if you do not
already have it.

How can I create manual Y-axis labels in a multiple system report?

A similar question was asked by Lutz1410 on 3/30/07, but it doesn't seem that this was finally resolved. I'll try to ask the question in a different way.
I created a graph in View with 3 axis systems in the "multiple systems" mode, then transferred this to Report. I would like to apply manual scaling and text to each of the 3 axis systems, however if I change either of these parameters they are applied to all 3 Y-axes. In other words, I end up with 3 axes having exactly the same text labels and scaling.
1. For the axis text, is there a delimiter that can be used in the axis text field to tell Report that the first text value is for the first Y-axis, the 2nd value is for the next axis, etc?
2. For the scaling, is it possible to have separate scales for each Y-axis?
Of course, a workaround is to create 3 independent graphs in Report, but this is less convenient.

Hi Craig,
If you want to apply different manual scaling parameters to each of the stacked Y axes, then you need to use 3 separate Y axes. If you want to display a curve-specific text to each of the stacked graphs, this you can do with a DIAdem expression:
@ChnName(CCN)@@         channel name of each curve
@ChnDim(CCN)@@            channel unit of each curve
@ChnComment(CCN)@@   channel description of each curve
The corresponding value for each curve will automatically display at the correct vertical spot next to its curve.

Use a Secondary CE in actual Periodic Repostings cycle

Hi,
I need your help to figure out how to move on with this process. May you help me out?
I want to settle a CE group for a CC group to some WBS "dummy" with different percentage on the receiver tracing factor. Afterwards I would like to settle each WBS "dummy" to a specific WBS group basing on actual statistical key figures.
Said that, I tried to use KSU5 for the first step (sender CC group and CE groups; receiver WBS "dummy" with an assessment CE) and then I used KSW3 (sender WBS "dummy" and the assessment CE; receiver WBS created group) for the second step.
The system blocks us though because I can't use a Secondary CE as a sender. Is there a way to fix it?
Should I have to find a workaround?
It should be useful to run KSU5 for the second step as well, but the system doesn't let us use the WBS "dummy" as a sender. Is there a way to add the WBS field in the transaction? (maybe through customizing).

Why assesment, use distribution (KSV2) instead.
In assesment, the movement is always using secondary and this is causing problem doing the 2nd step.
I would suggest, use distribution and then as 2nd step use KB11N for WBS to WBS reposting or KB15N for allocation.
Let's see others views on this.

In our UCM setup axis has been implemented in a custom component to consume webservices. As Axis falls under the Apache license you can freely import it in your custom java classes.

Numbers is a spreadsheet program and FileMaker is a database program, so you probably can't use Numbers to open them unless you had first exported them from FileMaker in a spreadsheet-compatible format.
If you upgraded from 10.6 Snow Leopard or earlier and your old copy of FileMaker won't open anymore, it might be a PowerPC application that is not compatible with 10.7 and later. If that is the case, to work with your FileMaker files you should upgrade your copy of FileMaker to the latest version, which seems to be FileMaker 12.

Both accounts are completely independent from each other. In order to use the space that you have purchased for your secondary account, you must change it to become your primary account. Yes, as you said, services like photo stream only work with the primary account. Unfortunately, there is no comfortable way to just transfer data from one account to another one, but you can do it via a third party application e.g. via Dropbox: e.g. for photos: photos stored with your current primary account > manual transfer to dropbox > after you made your secondary account to the primary account, transfer the photos back to your new primary account etc.

How can I use layer axis versus world axis to animate?

I'm open to alternate ways to approach this.
I'm trying to create a sphere using several images. Say, 200 images, arranged in 3d space so they face outwards and are all forming one large sphere. Pretty standard thing (like the glowing blue droid apps sphere in the android commercials, like this).
I used Red Giants PlaneSpace to quickly make a sphere. I wish to 'explode' the sphere so all pictures move away from the spheres center, but in a staggered and random way rather than all at once.
I thought this would be easier as I see each layers orientation changed each layers axis. Thus the the layers Z-axis points away from the center.
Example:
I tried using a simple linear expression to update the Z axis over 20 seconds to its current position minus 2000, like this:
amt=linear(time, index, index+20, position[2], position[2] - 2000);
transform.position = [position[0],position[1],amt];
This updates the Z-axis position but it's based on the world axis (or comp axis), not the layers axis. The layer axis I refer to is the axis widget that appears when you select a 3d layer and the red/green/blue 3-way axis widget appears.
How can I get the expression to use the layers axis rather than world?
Is there another approach to this? I'm definitely not up to date on 3d trig enough to write a formula to plot a course away from a specific 3d point. Hopefully there's a simple way to do it that I overlooked.
I will add that I did tie all of the 200 pictures to a null, scaled the null and it does push all the pictures away. I also added an inverse scale expression so they stay the same size as they originally were instead of scaling up with the null. However I really want to make them explode in a random fashion rather than "all at once" and I need to get away from the null scaling concept for that to have access to each individual picture.

This is a little off original topic but on the same mission: I'm trying to get them to start at random times. I think it comes down to my lack of understanding on 'when' expressions are calculated. I tried to supply a random() value to linear() but it seems every single frame these things are recalculating.
Is there a way I can generate a random number once and not every single frame so I can have each picture start at a random time?
I was trying to the effect of: linear(time,random(0,10),20,0,-2000); but that just seems to re-randomize every frame so expressions must be calculating more than once, or once per frame.
If I supply linear with static values (e.g. linear(time,0,10,0,100)) it works and will give me movement starting from second 0 moving to the value 100 over 10 seconds. If I wanted to start from a random second but always take 10 seconds, how would that work in the expression?
The idea is to get the pictures to explode in a bit of a random order which means some come before others. Maybe seeding is my issue?

The computer is just too large and cumbersome to carry while walking around. I Want to add numbers to my excel docs whilst right on my ipad as I go through inventory.

And, because Mavericks is now the system that allows iPad (ios) devices to talk to Mavericks on macs, isn't this supposed to now be doable?

You can use the config nodes in SPRO to set up number ranges for your cash journal documents.
IMG Path> FI Global Settings>Bank Accounting>Business transactions>Cash Journal
Define Number Range Intervals for cash Journal documents
Define Numbering Groups
Define Number Ranges for numbering groups
After defining the number group here, you assign that in "Set up Cash Journal" Check if there is any clash anywhere in your configuration for different cash Journals.
