Hi, I live in the US and will be calling friends and Family in the US. BUT I will be calling them from Spain. Can I use a US Skype #?

Please remember the purpose of a Skype Number is only for people to call you - a Skype Number is a fixed or land line number, and you answer the incoming calls on SKype. You would need a Skype subscription or Buy Skype credit in order to place calls from Skype to fixed or land line numbers and mobile numbers.

Yes, you can use a US Skype Number while you're out of the country.
Even if you're overseas your friends and relatives can call your US Skype Number at local rates. When they want to call you, simply sign in to Skype and answer the call when it rings – and you pay nothing to answer the call.

Can I use my airport extreme to view the internet from my PC on a HDTV

I am trying to set-up a Samsung 60" HDTV for use in my office conference room and want to access the Internet for skype conference videos but also need to use my PC laptop for power point presentations. What is the best way to go about getting this done?
I would love to just switch all of the PCs in my office over to Mac but that involves purse strings that I don't have access to.

Thanks for the info - this of course raises more questions - I would first want to know if you can currently use your wi-fi to Skype with your laptop - in other words can your bandwidth handle it to start with - and if so, the next question is where is the closest ethernet connection to your conference room - then I would want to know the brand names and model numbers of the modem or modem/combo and/or router - and where does the Extreme fit in this chain - is it the router/wi-fi that you are talking about - or will it be an add-on - - and I am sorry for all the questions but everyone's setup is different and I would like to know as many variables as possible to see if I can help.

It will almost certainly not be possible. If you don't sign up for AT&T service for the iPad, then replace your Sprint card with a MiFi or Overdrive device from Sprint. This will use your Sprint service, but connect to your iPad using Wi-Fi. It also has the advantage of you being able to use it with any Wi-Fi capable device. IOW, you can use both your laptop and iPad at the same time with the MiFi or Overdrive, but only have to pay for one Sprint account. Of course, all devices that connect to the MiFi or Overdrive will use up your 5GB allotment, unless you use Overdrive in a 4G area. (Overdrive is unlimited on 4G, but has a 5GB cap in 3G areas.)

There is no need to charge it before you first use it. You cannot run the battery too low as the system will shut the device off before that happens to protect the battery.
Generally speaking, your Lithium battery will have the longest useable life if you avoid deep cycles. Since you can plug and unplug it as you wish, the best thing to do is just charge it up (however much) whenever it is convenient to do so (whether it is 10% discharged, or 20% or 50% - basically don't pay any attention to the battery level, just plug it in when it is convenient to do so to keep the battery topped up). And try to avoid frequent deep cycles where you run it all the way or very near to the point it auto-shuts off.

This depends on where your Online Number is located, as not all Online Numbers can be used for Caller ID. From my own 4 Online Numbers, I can use the numbers in the USA and UK as Caller ID, but not those from Australia or Mexico. Local/national regulations or limitations from Skype's partners providing those Online Numbers may be to blame, if your Online Number(s) can't be used as Caller ID.
To see if you can use that number as Caller ID, log into your Skype account here on the Skype web site (click on the "Account" link at the top of this page). You should be able to go in and change your Caller ID settings once you get in. If your Online Number is eligible for use as Caller ID, you should see it as an option (or maybe the only option) when you get in there. If it can't be used, then your only option would be to use the two-step SMS verification process and set a mobile number as your Caller ID when calling telephones from Skype.

no, a Skype Number is linked to a single Skype Name
calls to a Skype Name can, however, be forwarded to as many as three other numbers or Skype Names -- whoever answers first gets the call

I will soon be travelling to Maui, HI, USA and am wondering if, while I am in Hawaii, I can still use my S2G number in Hawaii to make local calls to businesses in Hawaii at the low skype rates? Usually I would not use my phone (it would be left in airplane mode) because of high carrier roaming rates. Does S2G only work on wifi?
Or is the S2G number only valid when I'm making international calls from Canada to USA?
I guess I'm still a little confused on how the S2G number works and how rates are charged.
