Can I use a wireless speaker with my mac?

I really hate all the wires running behind my computer, so it would be awesome if I can buy a wireless or bluetooth speaker for my Mac. I'm just wondering that is it possible to do that? If possible, please give me some hints on how to.

If so, then its a DVI connector. And you would need a Thunderbolt/Mini Display Port to DVI adapter.

Good morning,
Without knowing the specific make/model of the speakers it would be difficult to say, however, using the Bluetooth Utility on the Mac you should be able to pair almost any device.
You can access the Bluetooth Utility on your main menu bar near the clock, it should look like a "B".

I read somewhere that powerline adapters are not compatible with Airport.
That information is not correct.
If the AirPort Extreme is already set up as your "main" router, you would connect a short Ethernet cable from one of the LAN <-> ports on the Extreme to the power line adapter.
Locate another adapter in the area where you want to use the AirPort Express and connect a short Ethernet cable from the adapter to the Express.
Configure the Express to "create a wireless network" using the same wireless network name, same security settings and and same password as the AirPort Extreme network and select the Bridge Mode setting for the Express so that it work correctly on the network.

Without knowing any real specifics and not having used a wireless keyboard myself, I would ask you - did you pair the keyboard with the iPad via Bluetooth? Does the keyboard work at all?
I do not have a wireless keyboard but I see no reason why it shouldn't work with any app or for anything that you want to do on the iPad. Maybe you can be more specific as to exactly what is happening.

Any external optical drives will work with a Mac.
The faster transfer drives are the ones that either use the new USB 3 standard, FireWire 800 or Thunderbolt connection. While USB 2 and FireWire 400 drives will work, they will have slower data transfer speeds.

My MACbook is connected to my iMAC using thunderbolt. How can I use my wireless keyboard with my MACBook with the lid OPEN?

It might work with the lid closed but I want to use the both screens. I try to detect the keyboard and the track pac on my Macbook pro but nothing is detected except my iMAC.

The easiest way is to copy the iTunes folder from your old PC to your MB (put it in the Music folder as a subfolder), along with the other valuable data on the old PC. Or restore it from a backup of your old PC. Then authorize iTunes on the MB to the same account you had on the PC. When you sync it will warn you that your content will be deleted, but it will be replaced with the same content from the MB. Before syncing you should also make sure there is at least one entry in iCal and Address book on the MB (assuming you sync to Outlook or equivalent on the PC) to assure that your contacts and calendar entries will move over correctly.
Al alternative that is less effective is to connect the iPhone to the MB without syncing, and choose "Transfer Purchases" from the iTunes File menu. This willl copy purchases music, videos and apps, but not ripped tracks from the iPhone to the MB.

You can certainly try
1) on iPad: pull up Settings > General > Bluetooth
2) slide from Off to On (or On to Off, wait, then Off to On again)
3) on keyboard: hold down the power button on the side until the little green light flashes
4) release
5) on iPad: "Apple Wireless Keyboard" should pop up under "Devices"
6) if yes, tap "Not Connected" so it searches for a return signal from the keyboard
if no, try resetting/restarting your iPad (holding down the Home button and the Sleep button at the same time) and repeating instructions
7) on keyboard: send the iPad a return signal by pressing the Shift key

HI. I have got this lovely machine out of storage. Guess its about 7 yrs old ( my other canon printer black ink wont work) and I cannot find a driver for the operating system on my macbook. The disc wont work and there are no drivers via HP nor Apple. It is not supported any longer and I have had to give up trying to find it. I have an old mac and once I find the cable for it perhaps its older OS will work with it. But then any work I move onto this old mac with my thumbdrive will be on either MS word , word text or adobe pdfs and jpegs that were created on my new mac and might not open with older word adobe etc on the old mac! I have not tried it yet. Do I buy a cheap £7 round pin cable and give it a go or sell this lovely old printer on gumtree?! I have about 8 ink cartridges for it that I could use or sell too! Advice welcome. In the meantime I have a cheap printer head in the mail for my Canon and hope that works too!! Hate waste and just had to dump various older home office machines that would not sell!!
