Can I use Adobe in my own website

Hi all,
Since a few months I'm working on a project to create a javascript framework based on extended tool kit.
My goal is to provide a lot of usables class to work with InDesign, Photoshop, Bridge ...
I know that a framework called "Extendable" already exist. But I contacted the author and He doesn't keep this framework up to date.
But my idea is quite diffrente becouse I will create new class to use indesign and photoshop togheter...
My question:
Can I use this name in my website: JLFA (Javascript Library For Adobe)
Or it's not allowed?
In advance, thanks for your reply.
Have a nice day.

@Bastien – How about  "ESOL" for "ExtendScript Objects Library"?
Does the following links speak against that? :
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ESOL
http://www.esol.com
"ESL" was my first thought, but:
http://www.esl.eu
(And there could be connotations to the German "Esel", of course ;-) )
JLFA would be similar to JFLA which could point mistakenly to Flash (FLA)…
Drop "Adobe" altogether. Dirk already mentioned the problem…

  • Can i use adobe muse on a current website?

Can I still use adobe muse with this website or do i have to start a fresh?

    Muse can’t import HTML files.

I have several existing websites. A couple have more than 40,000 files already. Can I use Muse with an existing website?

Why exactly does Muse not support HTML import?
Muse and HTML generators like it only deal with HTML at the very end of production... at export. These generators have their own system (not based on HTML) of arranging text & graphics and structuring page relationships.  These kinds of apps have never been able to import HTML. As the world moves to more dynamic web sites (database driven and server-side scripted), it becomes even more unlikely that an HTML generator will ever import HTML.

  • Can I use Adobe Illustrator symbol to create a logo identity?

Is it allowed to use an Adobe Illustrator default symbol (which is normally supplied with the program in the symbols library) to create a logo for a non-for-profit organisation? Is there a contact in Adobe for such enquiries to be officially addressed?
    Many thanks,

Thanks, Mylenium. Actually it is for a non-for-profit ogranisation and I am not charging anything for it, it is totally on a probono basis. Also the symbol has been modified from its original form in terms of colour.

Read the Adobe EULA, section 2.7. Basically it says (in human language) that you can use any of the files that come with Adobe programs in your own work as long as you don't sell them 1:1, i.e. it's okay to use a symbol as part of a logo, but not use a unmodified symbol alone and sell it to clients.

  • I can't use Adobe Reader

Hi, Not sure if this is the right place to post.
Just bought a new Mac a few days ago and its amazing! The old one died after 5 years, anyway, am impressed.
BUT I can't view a PDF in Adobe Reader!! I have Max OS X 10.6.2.
Any help? I did a search on google but a little confused as other people seemed to have similar problems, but slightly different and found solutions.
    Any help MUCH appreciated!

Thanks Actionmarker. i do actually have Adobe Reader 8 installed on my computer. I could use it with my old Mac, but when I bought this new one, and i double click Adobe Reader (or if I click on a PDF file to open), this message comes up:
You Can't open the application Adobe Reader because it is not supported on this type of Mac.
If I go to the Adobe website to download it, I notice that it can't be downloaded for OS 10.6.2. It only goes up to 10.6.0.
How come they haven't made an Adobe Reader update that's compatible with the new Macs? Is that the reason I can't use Adobe Reader?

  • Can we use Adobe Creative Suite (student version) CS4 and CS5 for commercial usage in Australia?

Can we use Adobe Creative Suite (student version) CS4 and CS5 for commercial usage in Australia?
Can we use for commercial purposes while we are studying?
    How about after we graduate?
    Thank you.

Check your regional S&T pages for specifics. Generally commercial usage is allowed during school and after graduating, but in some regions extra restrictions may apply if e.g. your software is subsidized by your government or the license owned by the school and you just "loaned" it.

How can I use adobe flash player on iPad 2?

You cannot.  Adobe does not make it for ipad.
This has been discussed over and over and over and over and over and over again on these forums.  Please do a forums search - right side of this page.
There is no need to add yet another thread on this very tired subject.
Adobe has announces d that they are selling a platforms that will allow ipad users to view flash content.  This is nothing that users will have.  The developer of the video will have to do this.
