I have a laptop, it has adobe on it, i have a 2nd laptop, I want adobe on it, do i have to buy and register adobe all over again or can i download adobe onto my new laptop as I already have it on the other laptop?

The Haven is my husbands phone and he calls me from work every night and we talk about 15 minutes. If we buy something from Home Depot or Lowes and that product is not working right, they replace it and they go back to the companies that supply it. I am willing to bet Samsung would take Verizon,s complaint more seriously then they would an average consummer. Please tell me Verizon is finally listening to their customers.

We definitely don't want you having a phone described as a lemon so let's work on getting everything back up to a peachy status. What you've indicated is certainly an issue. So, let's fix this.
First, when it comes to your calls not ringing or registering in your log, my recommendation is to update your phone. To do this, simply dial *228, choose option 2, wait for completion and for your phone to restart itself. This will have it resync with our network for optimal usage. Regarding the battery, personally I like to pull my battery every now and again for up to 60 seconds before reinserting (all while the phone is powered off). If you don't notice improvement, we may need to look into a replacement if life is shortlived below what was described prior.

The licence terms for OS X Lion are exactly the same as for any other App Store application. An individual may download and install on as many Macs as they own.

I have an old iMac (about 4-5 years) that I don't use anymore and a new iMac that I just bought a few months ago.
Can I us my old iMac as a second display for my new one? Its a slow computer now, but the screen is nice and big so it would be nice to be able to keep using it like that.
If yes, what cord(s) would I need to make this happen?
If no, is there any disadvantage to using a non-mac screen for a second display? (I'm a graphic designer, so little things like having the color exact on each screen are very important)

Hello, i have been dealing with some problems in my laptop wich has windows so i heard that adobe apps work better in macs so i'm going to buy a macbook air today but i read or heard that i can only login in one device so before buying it i would like to know if i can login in another laptop or how to change to only login in that new laptop in creative cloud.
In case that i cant change to login in another device i would like to know what to do since my old laptop got damaged for the keyboard and i dont really want to invest in repairs for now (i'm using a usb keyboard).

Make sure you log out of your Creative Cloud account on the old notebook. I would also uninstall CC off the old notebook as well. Also be sure you have any files you want to save backed up off the old notebook. Once you have done that there shouldn't be any problem installing CC on a new MacBook Air.
Side note: it's a very generalized statement for someone to say CC works better on Mac OSX than Windows. There's a lot more variables at work in a notebook or desktop than just the operating system.

It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer files/docs/pics/music/etc. Use this to put everything back.
If for some reason you have failed to maintain a backup copy (not good), then you can transfer itunes purchases from an ipod: File>Transfer Purchases

do you mean you want to play your videos from your Vixia camcorder on your iPad mini? Well, that may be a little difficut. Because the video came from your camera may not be a very friendly format.
Here you can try install VLC on your iPad mini , VLC should support AVCHD (*.MTS) natively.
If this can't work, then find yourself a free converter;
Handbrake, Any video converter ,ffMPEG etc.
If this can't wrok , or the output quality is jerky.

I have recently received a project from someone who has already captured the footage, can I use the footage directly from the capture scratch for my new project?

Will this in any way effect my footage when working/exporting? I will be working off the same hard drive.

If all the footage played in FC to begin with and all the media is included in the capture scratch folder you should be good to go but I would check a few things.
Pull the new footage into your project and look under the compressor column. If any files are H264 or MP4 I would recommend converting these to a PR422 or another FC friendly format. Also confirm any audio only files are aiff/48Khz(not mp3 or 44.1Khz).
In my experience you can work with H264,MP4, mp3 & 44.1 in FC7 but you are almost guaranteed to have problems later.

I have some Garageband files from another computer that were made on a newer version. I have been trying to update to version 11 but I keep getting taken to the app store which requires me to pay. Am I supposed to? or is their another way to update your software?

You cannot distribute the DLL by itself, or include it in your project files.
You can apply for permission to distribute Adobe Reader as a complete installer, subject to license.
