Can I run this program on other machine without install sql server ?
If I can't. Are there other program simpler than sql server help me run it ?
    THANK ALL !

Agree with Nicolas. You need to modify connection string to point to proper server name. This might help in getting proper name of instance.

  • Can I use CC app without installing updates?

I want to start using syncing Typekit fonts on my work computer and read that this needs to be done via the Creative Cloud desktop app. However, the app is prompting me to install an update and only gives me the option to Install or Quit - I prefer not to update it and don't see an option for this.
Since it is an office computer I am restricted from installing/updating any software without going through a lot of red tape, so I'd like to avoid doing all the updates if possible - is there any way to sync fonts without the app update?

I am sorry Amtx10 but you will want to update the Creative Cloud Desktop application if you wish to continue utilizing the services provided by the application and it's installed components.  You can find details regarding the updated features at Creative Cloud Help | Creative Cloud app for desktop | Release Notes.

  • How can I use charsets.jar without installing it in the client JRE?

Hi! I've an applet that needs to do some CP850. Since many of the clients are from english speaking countries, they do not have the appropriate JAR that supports the CP850 encoding. Now, I have the charsets.jar which has this encoding. If I install it in the client jre/lib/ext folder, my applet works perfectly, but I don't want to do that. Instead, I want the applet to read it from its own jar or, including the charsets.jar in the archive parameter. I have tried both, adding the whole of charsets.jar to my applet jar using jar -xc dependences\charsets.jar, and also, by putting it in the archive parameter of the applet. None of them works, and I don't know why. If someone can tell me why it didn't work, and how can I make it to work, I'll be very thankfull.
I've been trying also to use a URLClassLoader, but here I got access exceptions:
    URL urlCharsets = new URL("http://url.com/jars/charsets.jar");
    URL[] urls = {urlCharsets };
    URLClassLoader classloader = new URLClassLoader(urls);
classloader.loadClass("sun.io.ByteToCharCp850");Security Access exception here... and the charsets.jar that I'm loading IS signed. No idea what to do here.
Best regards and happy new year!

    Hi,
Assuming your applet jar and the charset jar are ine the same location on your
server, I'll suggest to use this:
    <applet code="myapplet/myapplet.class" archive="myapplet.jar,charset.jar" height="400" width="550"></applet>Hope that help,
    Jack

  • My IPOD is already synced to iTunes.  My friend just acquired an iPhone and he wants to purchase an app through my iTunes.  Can he use my iTunes to install the app to his iPhone without screwing up my IPOD information already on my iTunes?

My IPOD is already synced to iTunes.  My friend just acquired an iPhone and he wants to purchase an app through my iTunes.  Can he use my iTunes to install the app to his iPhone without screwing up my IPOD information already on my iTunes?  Also, how does he install ONLY that app on his iPhone without syncing my music also?  I haven't done this before with just an app.  Thanks.

Since you and your friend aren't married or in the same household (I assume you wouldn't have referred to this person as "my friend" otherwise), what you want to do is not permitted by the terms of use of the iTunes Store.
Your friend should create his own Apple ID. He can use your computer; just have him log into your computer with a user account you create just for him, not your own user account. Doing it that way is almost like having your friend use a different computer, since both Mac OS X and recent versions of Windows do a pretty good job of segregating the data of multiple user accounts.
He can then purchase the app using iTunes and sync it to his iPhone. When he's done, he should log out of your computer.
However, be aware that there is no reason to purchase an app using iTunes on a computer and to then sync it to the iPhone. Your friend can use the App Store app that's installed on the iPhone by default in order to download and install any app he likes from the iTunes App Store.

  • Can i use my iphone without a sim card as a ipod

can i use my iphone without a sim card as a ipod?

The SIM card is not required to use an iPhone as an iPod or to be used for anything else besides cell phone related services.
For a no longer activated iPhone, the no longer activated SIM card that was used with the iPhone when it was activated must be inserted in the iPhone in order to install an iOS update and for no other reason.

  • Use the JDK without installing

I don't have administrator privileges on my Windows XP. I already have JRE 1.4.2_03 installed, and I would like to be able to compile as well. However, I can't find anywhere a place to download the contents of the JDK without them being packaged into an installer. Would it work to just put javac.exe into the JRE's bin? Where could I find javac?

Just to answer my own question after finally being able to experiment: yes, you can use the JDK without installing it. I was going to try copying in javac (and other files) into the JRE bin folder, but realized it's a different version. So anything I compiled I wouldn't be able to run.
Instead, I installed the JDK onto another computer and then copied the JDK1.6.0_01 folder to my thumbdrive. Then I wrote a command-script that sets the path variable and opens the command-prompt for me to use the compiler. Now it works: Portable JDK 1.6.0_01. I just had to make sure to put the JDK's JRE bin first on the path list or I would use the wrong version JRE every time.

  • Do I have to use add-ons or can I use Firefox savely without add-ons?

Can I use Firefox savely without add-ons? If not, how will I know which add-ons are needed? How save are the add-ons? What if an add-on contains a bug or a mistake? Will I get updates automatically?

Add-ons are optional. I find some of them incredibly useful, but you probably will end up with different ones that suit your needs or interests.
If the add-ons are installed from the Mozilla Add-ons site, then they are checked for updates on a regular basis.
Some add-ons will have bugs or cause conflicts with other add-ons or web sites. You can see the evidence of that on this forum, especially after major upgrades... All that flexibility makes Firefox harder to support, but everyone wants choice. :-)
I should add that much of the web does not work correctly with the Adobe Flash plugin, so maybe that one isn't so optional.

  • How can i use my account without the billing info, as i do not have a credit card. and my shipping and billing info is under US. i'm in singapore. how do i change this?

how can i use my account without the billing info, as i do not have a credit card. and my shipping and billing info is under US. i'm in singapore. how do i change this?

If you are just visiting Singapore, then leave the account as it is. If you have moved there, then view your account using the iTunes app on a Mac or PC and change the country/region to your current location and address. If you do not have a bank card, you can fund your account using iTunes gift cards if available in Singapore.

  • HT2534 How can I use "Family Sharing" without giving details of my credit or debit card? I do not want to give my cards data, I have always used iTunes prepaid cards.

How can I use "Family Sharing" without giving details of my credit or debit card? I do not want to give my cards data, I have always used iTunes prepaid cards.

    Hi Saramos,
When setting up Family Sharing you must have a credit or debit card as your payment method. See this article for reference -
    Family purchases and payments
When a family member makes a purchase it will be billed to any gift or store credit that they have first. If none exists it will be billed to you.
As the family organizer, you may not set your billing method for purchases to anything other than a credit or debit card. If you have a store credit such as from pre-paid cards, it may not be shared with other family members. See this article for reference -
How iTunes Store purchases are billed
Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.

  • How can I use Office Update without the Office CD?

How can I use Office Update without the Office CD? On the microsoft website I've clicked the options which mean I shouldn't need the CD (which wasn't supplied with the laptop), but poartway through updating the service pack I get a request for the Office 2000 Professional CD.
    Any suggestions?

    Hi
Did you mean a Office or One Note?
As far as I know the One Note is a part of the Recovering Image and the CD is not delivered with the unit. Furthermore the Toshiba units are not delivered with the Office 2000 software.
Nevertheless, did you check the update function in the Help i.e. in Word?
There you will find a options called Check for Updates

  • Can i use this download and install on multiple computers?

Can i use this download and install on multiple computers?

I assume you're talking about the Lion installer?  If so, yes, you're allowed to use it on any machines authorized with your Apple ID (which I believe means a maximum of five machines).  This is, of course, meant for family use...  I'm not sure about business use, but I'd suspect you need one copy per machine at a business.  If you're in that situation, you may want to wait for the $69 Lion flash drive Apple will be releasing next month sometime, as that won't be tied to an Apple ID.  But check with Apple to be sure on that.
