Can I use BOTH IE & FF and retain the shortcuts to both to use at will? I can download FF ok and use for a day or so along with IE, but after that I start to get messages from Windows saying IE is not my default browser and do I want to make it the default. If I answer no, many links in my windows mail and other links in the windows system don't work...I get a message that the file can't be found . If I answer yes, the FF shortcuts disappear and can't bring up the FF from the FF folder, I get a msg that the FF folder is corrupt!
Hi, aparently we're a problem while you installed firefox. try to uninstall and reinstall firefox again,
after you do that, open firefox and go to Tools>options>Advanced>General, and see that it have to be an option at last that sez "always check to see if firefox is the default browser on startup" uncheck that option.,
Then go to IE, go to tools>internet options>programs>and clic on "Make Default".
With this you make that IE the default browser.

I have model series KX TG7641 /w 5 phones....
My questions:
1. Can the directory of phone numbers with in my iPhone be transferred to the Panasonic and retain the individual number designations; i.e., "home-moblie-work-etc"?
2. Can I use the manual select on the Panasonic to selectively transfer numbers from my iPhone?Basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new). Has any of this been tried?
FYI, there are no viruses that affect iOS unless the device has been hacked or jailbroken, in which case they cannot be discussed here. -

I have the problem with my iPhone and my friends have this problem too.
My iPhone have the problem about calling and answer the call. When I use my iPhone to call I can't hear anything from my iPhone but the person that I call can answer it but when answer both of us can't hear anything and when I put my iPhone to my face the screen is still on and when I quit the phone application and open it again it will automatic call my recent call. And when my friends call me my iPhone didn't show anything even the missed call I'm only know that I missed the call from messages from carrier. Please check these problem I restored my iPhone for 4 time now in this week. I lived in Hatyai, Songkhla,Thailand and many people in my city have this problem.
Who have this problem??Apple isnt here. this is a user based forum for technical questions. The solution is to restart, reset, and restore as new which is in the manual after that get it replaced for hard ware failure. if your within your one year warranty its replaced if it is out of the warranty then it is 199$

I own both Photoshop Elements and Photoshop (the original editor). I find the elements editor to be too cumbersome to use and would just like to edit using Photoshop. When I try to install Photoshop as a secondary editor in elements I get an error message that I don't need to this because it is already supported on the edit menu and task bar. I can not find any way to send images to Photoshop for editing - all I can do is send them to elements editor or the premier editor. Can someone tell me how to send them to Photoshop? Thanks!

The D810 requires Camera Raw 8.6 or later - the latest version that is compatible with Photoshop Elements 12 is Camera Raw 8.5 as far as I can see.
You need to either buy a new version of Photoshop Elements or use the free Adobe DNG converter.

It originally did not download correctly. I refreshed the download and it supposedly completed. Upon playing the song in both my library and on the Itunes store it will not play past the first 5 seconds. How can I fix this?

Hello I recently downloaded an app on my iphone 4s - Remote mouse- so i can control my laptop that is connected to my tv, it used to work fine and now the connection fails, I downloaded another app and the same problem occurs, its not the firewall and both phone and laptop are conected to the same wifi, i also tried to connect it manually with the ip address and still no connection, can you help??
Close all open apps by double-tapping the home button, then swiping up and off the screen with the app window (not the smaller icon).
Then reset: hold down the home button along with the sleep/wake button until you see the apple, then let go.(No data loss) Try it again. -

To export your PDF files to PPTX files:
Using Web UI:
Log into https://exportpdf.acrobat.com/signin.html with your Adobe ID and password
Select “Export from PDF”
Click “Select Files” button then choose your PDF file
Select the format from the list below (PPTX)
Check ON “Recognized text in” if your PDF file is scanned images to recognize the image to text
Click “Export” button
Click “Download” button in the progress bar after completion of exporting to download the file to your computer.
Note:The exported PPT files are stored at https://files.acrobat.com. You will see the file in file list and clicking "FILES" at top of the screen will redirect you to https://files.acrobat.com site .

It's almost impossible. The new iMacs have a Target Display Mode, but it's built to do that. Without ripping your screen out, finding an acceptable power supply, frame, and whatever electronics to convert a Thunderbolt signal to the screen, the cost will be much larger than buying a cheaper HiDef monitor that runs with an HDMI to Thunderbolt cable to your MacBook 15. In fact, you can sell your 17" MBP for a lot of money, unless it's broken or something, buying you a really sweet monitor.

I am a medical transcriptionist. I was using Firefox 4 and without knowing that Firefox 5 does not support Google Toolbar I updated it. Searching in google is a integral part of my job and without the Toolbar I feel handicapped using Firefox 5. You can say that there is no need for toolbar in firefox 5 as the address bar doubles as toolbar, but I find it very difficult using it. I uninstalled Firefox 5 and try installing Firefox 4 version, but I am not able to. So, I have uninstalled Firefox 4 completely. So, pls advise if there is a way for me to get back my Firefox 4. Mandel is referring to what is called a "User Agent Faker' which tricks the website into thinking it is a different browser or version than it actually is. I sometimes would use this on my iPhone when I wanted to visit the full website of a site I was attempting to go to & it would only take me to the mobile version or state it was only compatible with say Internet Explorer, simply turn it on & select the browser and details you want it to report and it will spoof that browser & you'll be on your way.

How can I archive photos in iPhoto to a hard drive and retain the Album folders and the Events? I tried to Export the Albums but just transferred the files individually.
If you want to maintain the iPhoto organisation then back up the iPhoto Library.
If you want to export to the Finder, well you need to create a folder for the contents of an Album and expot to that.
If you have an older version of iPhoto: Apps like iPhoto2Disk or PhotoShare will help you export to a Folder tree matching your Events. This feature is built in to iPhoto 11.
