It should be much easier to re-link in the Pagemaker file, as, with any luck, you can get the filenames from the Graphics Manager. After conversion to InDesign, any out-of-date linked images get their names converted to something like "image 123.jpg", and are themselves converted to an embedded low res representation of the image. Even vectored art. Pretty hard to figure them out, unless you are VERY familiar with the file, which you may be.
It may be that any cropping gets lost, too? I do prepress work, we do some set up for our customers, but most comes in pretty much ready to go, so I don't often have to did too deep into fixing such issues. On the other hand, any problem that can happen has probably crossed my desk, or it seems that way some days!

The End user license agreement says that you can install of 2 machines however you can't use both at the same time with captivate working on it.
The previlage is givent to the user keeping the fact in mind that you might have a work laptop that you need to bring back home and work on it,so you can install it on Desktop at office and on the laptop as well and bring it back home and start working on it.

You need to purchase separate versions...the iPad version is stripped down considerably from the Mac version, but at $10 quite reasonable.

Practical way to use iPhoto on both desktop and laptop?

I have my iPhoto library on the internal hard drive of my iMac desktop machine. I also have a Mac laptop, and occasionally when I take this away I like to take a copy of the current iPhoto library so I can show photos on the laptop.
I've never found a way to do this easily, and generally copy over the entire iPhoto Library from the desktop to the laptop - a long and tedious job.
Recently when I tried to do this, I got a message telling me this was not possible because "some data in 'iPhoto Library' can't be read or written". I tried exporting and importing the photos, which caused massive headaches.
My current plan is to get a large-ish flash drive, maybe 16 or 32gig (my Library is about 11 gig at present), and simply move the library to there when I want to take it with me.
Or am I overlooking a more obvious method?

There's an application, iPhotoSync
that can keep both of your libraries identical as far a which photos are in them.
Here's how it works:
1 - it compares the databases and/or album.xml files of Libraries A and B.
2 - the files in A that are not in B are imported into B by copying the original files from A into B's Import folder.
3 - it then does the same for B.
4 - metadata is not copied.
5 - it can be password protected to prevent unauthorized use.
It can be used to just copy from A to B and not sync both ways if desired.
It will not copy keywords, albums or other keepsakes. Just photos.
If you need to include the metadata then you will need to purchase and use iPhoto Library Manager. However, you will have to manually select the events or albums to copy from one library to the other.

Hello, I recently dug up a windows PC computer for side projects, and I was able to get by using my wireless apple keyboard and mouse for my Mac mini, and then using a usb mouse for my PC, I want to eliminate the usb keyboard and mouse and just use the bluetooth keyboard. Both computers are usually on all the time, and the windows PC uses a bluetooth adapter. I can get my keyboard and mouse to work on both, but I have to sync them to whatever system I would like everytime I want to use it. Is there any solution that when I choose the Mac Mini my keyboard and mouse will work for the Mac mini, and when I choose my windows pc, the keyboard will only be used on windows without having to resync?

I have a 2G 32 GB Touch running OS 3.13, which is just fine. I'm expecting a G4 64 GB Touch to arrive this coming week. I understand that OS 4.1 is already loaded on it.
Will I be able to use both Touches with differing OSs on the same computer? I really have no desire to update the OS on the older Touch as it has worked beautifully for 22 months!

You can have multiple ipods with different os's. For a few minutes I had my 2G at v4.0.1 and my 4G at v4.1.
I've never seen itunes automatically update the os on the ipod so you should be ok.

I have restarted the router too (oddly enough someone, somewhere suggested it) but no luck so far.
