I am new to NI products. I'd like to know if I can use data files(like txt file which contains some amount of data) to generate arbitrary waveform. If this can be done, are there any other file formats can be used to generate arbitrary waveforms?

Yes you have do read the file in LabVIEW and convert that into waveform and send it to the PXI target. Normally we use to generate arbitrary waveform (non standard waveform) in this method only then send the waveform data to the target.
The best solution is the one you find it by yourself

Hopefully this will be an easy fix... Although I cannot seem to work it out??
I am building a state machine inside a while-loop with the following states:
1. System idle.
2. Self-cal pci card.
3. Run DAQ and do my processing.
4. Stop the vi.
I can do this using a enum no problems (with state 1. System idle as the initialising state for the while-loop)... But I really want to have is 4 buttons on the front panel, one for each of the 4 states, so that all the user needs to do is press the button corresponding to the state they want and the appropriate transition ocurrs... For example, when the vi first runs, the idle state is operating... When the user is ready can then hit button 2 for a self-cal... Is self-cal is ok, they hit button 3 for DAQ... Once the DAQ is finished the user can hit button 4 to stop the vi..
My problem is that I need the current button to unlatch when another button is hit...
Any suggestions?... This is killing me!

My Sun one is 6.1 sp3 on Windows 2003 SE, and I am try to use the ACL file to control the access.
My ACL file is below:
version 3.0;
acl "path=my_path_on_HD";
deny absolute (all)
(user = "anyone") and
(dns = "*.my_site.com");
deny absolute (all)
(user = "anyone") and
(dns = "*.other_site.net");
Once I add the "deny", anyone include my site is decline for vist the path specify in the ACL file. But if remove the "deny", everyone include other one's website can access the file.
Can anybody tell me how to make it work?

I think you've misunderstood what the dns attribute is for. The dns attribute returns the hostname of the client accessing your website, not the hostname of the website that linked to your website.
For example, when someone using the Comcast ISP goes to a malicious website at example.com that loads images from your website at www.amigoo.net, the dns attribute will be something like "c-1-2-3-4.ca.comcast.net", not "example.com". ACLs are used for authentication and authorization of clients (not the websites those clients chose to visit), and they don't provide the functionality you're looking for.
If I understand correctly, you want to prevent websites other than amigoo.net from linking to files in your d:/webserver/imat/pics_upload directory. You can achieve this adding the following lines to your obj.conf configuration file:

You don't want to do that by copying.
Your best bet, by far, is to use Setup Assistant. If your Mac is running Snow Leopard, see Using Setup Assistant on Snow Leopard or Leopard.

Back up all data.
This procedure will unlock all your user files (not system files) and reset their ownership and access-control lists to the default. If you've set special values for those attributes on any of your files, they will be reverted. In that case, either stop here, or be prepared to recreate the settings if necessary. You can now use CSS styles to set the default text format for TextView. It no longer has any formatting properties. It supports the entire set of Gumbo text format styles.
SkinnableComponent and Group now also support all these styles. However, skins such as ButtonSkin, TextInputSkin, and TextAreaSkin continue for now to specify instance styles on their TextBox, TextGraphic, and TextView, in order to give them a Gumbo look rather than a Halo look. So if you try setting, for example, the fontSize on the Application, it doesn't yet affect the text format of a Button, TextInput, TextArea, etc. unless you remove the instance style in the skin.

Nevermind guys - I did it using the 'rb_on.selected' command on the "on" radio button if the .txt file variable was "on", else the "off" radio button is selected.

Thanks so much Meg. Unfortunately, iTunes is the program I use to perform syncing. I don't really have other outside options. It is also the location of the backup I would use to restore my phone, and my only way to reclaim important data. I am concerned that, since the last backup occurred when the "other" bar was only moderately huge (around 29G I think), that a backup would replicate the problem back onto my phone.
My contacts, etc. are all in address book and the calendar app on my Mac. As far as I know, iTunes is the way to get them back, but iTunes is where the problem is.
Any thoughts on this?

If you don't have iTunes installed on your laptop then you can download and install it from here : http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
You can then log into your account on it via the Store > Sign In menu option (on iTunes 11 on a PC you can get the menus to show via control-B) :

When yosemite was released, i was excited to install it but the problem is that i don't want my main os to be compromised because i think that yosemite is kinda new and it's only 10.0 version and Dota 2 does not work on Yosemite and it's very unstable according to Steam forums and many other sites. My main OSX is still mountain lion and the only os x version that makes dots 2 stable. What i did is I partitioned my hard drive into two one for my main os and one for yosemite. Now i have two os x on my macbook pro. Now the problem is i don't want to install Logic Pro X again and re-download many samples and stuff. When i open the finder in Yosemite, i can see my mountain lion disk where all my files located at? Can i use those files without copying it because my yosemite disk is only 40 gb and my projects and sample audios is 60 gb and open apps from that disk to yosemite? Thanks. Sorry for the long text. Here is what I want to do. I currently have a time capsule used for one end of the house. Currently my 2 kids rooms are in an addition that I have run a cable from the time capsule to each of their rooms. If I want to give them wireless for that part of the house could I add another TC, for wireless and they can both backup their macbooks to that time capsule.
So Can I add a 2nd time capsule to extend by "N" network, or should I just go with an AP express or extreme and let them each have their own HD backup for each macbook?

Have bought many reconditioned (Refurb) product from Apple site and have always been happy with them. To date none have failed me and we have been Apple customers since 2006. With that said when you buy Refurbs make sure you know what model you are getting. The current TCs on the Apple site are last generation. The way to tell is to check the model number against the current one. Easy way to do this is to put both in the shopping cart and compare the model numbers. The Refurb model number is FB277LL/A and the new TC model is MB765LL/A. The first digits identify whether a Refurb or new, the rest should be the same if they are the same model number.
Before you buy, now which model number you want and then check other sites to compare prices. I recently purchased a new TC on Amazon for a better price then the Apple Store Site. For larger Refurb purchases like MBPs, we choose to buy directly from Apple; but for peripherals we often buy from OWC, Amazon, and other sites. Hope this helps.

You can, but how are you going to back up those other files? When (not if) your Time Capsule fails, you risk losing them. See #Q3 in Using Time Machine with a Time Capsule for details.

Not sure what you mean. You have to connect a computer, either via Ethernet cable or wirelessly, to read or write to the disk.

There is no such functionality build into the framework. The offline data base is only for designing the db, not to have a backup db.
If you can't connect to the db the application will not work.

No, that's not what the Consolidate command is for. That command for getting all your track files into a single folder. To get all the tracks in an album to appear together, just Get Info on the tracks and make the album name all the same for each track. See:
