Can I use FaceTime or iMessages to correspond to my tutor with its Skype ?

I would like to use FaceTime or iMessages to talk to my tutor online but he has Skype.
Is it possible to correspond with him ?

Alright, after trying stuff for some irritating hours, I think I've got something you can use. I haven't figured out how to get it to run all the time.

Automator application
Run Shell Script (ignore this actions input)
