Yes. Lots of interMedia functionality is available under 8.0.
The Text features of interMedia were known as ConText in Oracle 8.0

ELEMENTS 11: I want to import files from my Epson 4490 Photo scanner and I can not use WIA feature.

I would like to import photos that I have scanned with my Epson 4490 photo scanner. I am scanning slides and it appears that I can not use the WAI feature that is offered in photoshop elements 11. I am able to import using photoshop elements 2. Has the functionality been lost in the newer version?

Can't use Radio feature at all any more.

Actually, now, clicking on a Featured station OR one of my own preferred stations might work 10% of the time. used to work just great. Other features (like I-Tunes U) still working OK. Other audio, such as Youtube, still works great.
When I load a station, I can see a song loading, showing artist and all of that, but progress bar is all the way across to finished.

Some sites like Beatport may still need the Flash player. Usually for such sites you have to enable the Flash player and disable the Flash blocking add-ons. I use a program called RoboForm2Go that will fill in user names and passwords for me when I open a site and now that option is not available in the taskbar at the top. How can I use that feature again?

I save the RoboForm2Go program on a flash drive and when I opened a site that I had saved the user name and password, the RoboForm2Go would show up in the taskbar with the site I opened so I could just click on it and it would automatically fill in the info for me.

Under View>/toolbars, I don't have an option to choose RoboForm Toolbar. When I initially set up the program, I was using Internet Explorer and I can go to the taskbar at the bottom and choose RoboForm but then whatever site I was opening in Firefox will now open in Internet Explorer instead of Firefox. The old version of Firefox would display the RoboForm toolbar at the top.

Can't use 3D features in CS6

Hello,
So today I downloaded Photoshop CS6 Extended edition (64-bit) for Windows. When I tried to use the 3D features, it wouldn't let me, because I didn't have enough VRAM dedicated. So when I went into preferences, I could only set my VRAM up to 503 MB. I would say that I just don't have enough video memory; however, I have 3061 MB. I tried going into my BIOS and adjusting the video card memory allocation settings, except I didn't see any.

AMD A8-3500M APU with
AMD Radeon HD 6620G with discrete-class graphics (3061MB total video memory)
6 GB RAM
640 GB Hard Drive
HP w/ Windows 7

Upgraded to 7.6 now can't use search feature

I just got a second ipod, a nano, and it required me to upgrade my itunes software. Now I can't search the library. Letters I put in the search field make no sense when the tunes come up. Any ideas???

Well I tried the stand-alone Quicktime installer -- to no avail.
But I did find the culprit (two of them). (1) Itunes is totally incompatible with the RealTek Sound Manager, which came with the motherboard. Disabling the Sound Manager is only half the problem. Audio and video will still not work without some tinkering. (2) The other half is the ituneshelper / ipodservice pair of applications that run in the background.
These two processes run after itunes exits so restarting itunes alone will not clear them. This also explains why rebooting sometimes works.
1. Close itunes
2. Kill any sound managers (the ones that make 5.1 systems work)
2. Use Windows Task Manager to locate ituneshelper.exe and iPodService.exe.
3. Highlight these processes and click the End Process button
4. Restart itunes
Viola! The playhead progresses and the sound & video play correctly. It worked for me: YMMV.
I am guessing that the reason that the itunes started to play and then stopped was because this pair of background processes tried to do something naughty and stopped being stable -- itunes coughs and no playback.
I also suspect that these are needed to connect the ipod. But they are both spawned when needed, so killing them to listen to music is ok. You can sync later. So much for automation.
Perhaps itunes developers should look at the stability of these processes and their interactions with itunes.exe.

Printer screen is unreadable so can not use copy feature

Printer display is nothing but vertical bars of different shades of grey and widths. Therefore I cannot use the copy function. Well actually I can by guessing where to touch the scan function and number of copies. Since the display is unreadable I can print and scan from PC but not copy.
Is there a way to control (use) the "copy" function from my PC?

You can not copy from the PC, but you could scan, then print.
With regards to the condition of the screen, do you have the printer connected directly to a wall outlet or is it in a surge protector or power bar? Even if you have been using a surge protector/power bar all this time and you feel it is not the cause, please connect it to a wall outlet just so we can eliminate the power source as the root cause. Let's perform a hard reset. To do so, leave the printer on and unplug the power cable for 1 minute. While it is unplugged, hold down the power button on the printer for 10-15 seconds to release any built up power, then after the minute has passed, plug the printer back in.
I hope that if you can not get the screen working, that scan then print is a viable work around for you to make copies.

Some sites say cookies are blocked and I can't use some features on those sites. But I check each time and cookies are not blocked.

Sites say I can't set preferences or post on message boards, etc. because cookies are blocked. I know how to set cookies. They are NOT blocked.

Did you check the cookie permissions for the current domain in "Tools > Page Info > Permissions" after you have opened that page?
If the setting in Firefox is correct then check your security software (firewall) to make sure that cookies aren't blocked there.

When I open Firefox, it expands to larger than screen-size and I can't use ANY features. How can I fix this?

When I first open Firefox, it appears fine, then one second later it expands so that I cannot see any thing but the current message. The only way I seem to be able to even exit is to use the Windows Task Manager to kill the application. The other user on the same machine does not have this problem. We are both using Firefox version

Which security software (firewall) do you have?
Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.
