Can I use JTA transactions in a EJB that calls a webservice

Hi,
I created a EJB Client that calls two web services with JTA transactions. I would like to undo the first web services when the second one fails. Is this possible at all? If yes, is JTA the right way to do this?
Thank you
Julia

You may be able to but it all depends on the RAM and the system. Some work, Some Don't.
But if you haven't already bought the RAM just buy what is right for the system.
Even if the faster RAM works it will not run at the faster speed. It would be Clocked down to the speed of the system it is installed in.

  • How can I use JTA in my business logic and execute process with PAPI?

    HI All,
How can I use JTA in my business logic and execute process with PAPI?
When my business logic has exception, the process will rollback.
or the process has some exceptions, my business logic also will rollback.
I don't know how to do it.
Does anyone know how to do it?

Thank you for your reply, Daniel.
But I think I did not express my mind clearly.
There is a scene that I have 2 Application Server.
My business code is deployed in one Server.
The BPM is deployed in another Server.
I want to execute Task use PAPI.(ProcessServiceSession.runActivity)
In my business code, I will do something before execute Task.
I need my business logic and Task in same transaction.
    To ensure them "all-or-nothing" .
As you say, if The transactions are managed by Oracle BPM.
then can I retrieve OBPM transcaction in my business code?

  • How can we use multiple transactions by using bdc_insert.

    HI
How can we use multiple transactions by using bdc_insert.

    Hi,
In between the Open and Close we have to use the BDC_INSERT for the Tcodes you have to do.
    BDC_OPEN_GROUP
    BSD_INSERT
    TCODE = tcode1
    BDC_INSERT
    TCODE = tcode 2
    BDC_CLOSE_GROUP
check the SDN for more on this.
    Regards

  • How can I use my ipad in a hotel that only has ethernet connections.    The apple store clerk told me that I can't use airport express unless I also have a computer with me in the hotel.

How can I use my Ipad in a hotel that only has ethernet connections?  The Apple store clerk told me that travel express won't work in my hotel unless I also have a computer.

The issue with the Airport Express (or any of the Apple routers) is that you need the Airport Utility to configure it.  Airport Utility works on OSX and Windows, but not on the iPad (or iPhone or iPod Touch.)  It will work, if you can preconfigure the Airport correctly ahead of time, but you'd be stuck if you did need to reconfigure while at the hotel.
You can use most any other router that is configured with a web page, which means you have a chance of configuring with Safari on the iPad.  If you want something somewhat portable, I use a "travel router" made by D-Link. The current model is the DAP-1350.  Other companies make similar travel routers, but I have no experience with the others.

  • Can I use Time Machine to retrieve mail that was in Trash on my MacBook Air, after I emptied Trash?

Can I use Time Machine to retrieve mail that was in Trash on my MacBook Air OS X Yosemite, after I Emptied that Trash?

Interesting question. I don't think you can because Time Machine would have deleted the data in subsequent backups because it was removed from the computer. But you never know about these things until you actually try it, which I've never done. So, why don't you give it a try. Worst that can happen is it's not there and you're no worse off than now.
If you need help with restoring mail from Time Machine: Please visit Pondini's Time Machine FAQ for help with all things Time Machine. Also open Mail and select Mail Help from Mail's help menu. Search for 'restore mail' and see if you don't find some instructions there, too.

Can i use my itouch to make skype phone calls away from a wifi source just like a conventional mobile phone.

No. The iPod does not have a cellular connection. Thus, an iPod without wifi can't connect to the Internet

can this be done with query builder
    or
is there a way to search all sql of all reports for specific strings and report names so that I can find all report sql that uses table1  for example?

    Hi Bart!
You can use VBScript to extract the dataprovider within the reports (Search for SDK Desktop Intelligence).
If you can wait a few days longer, I can provide my script.

Can i use iphone to iphone for free international calls and text messages?

If both iPhone users are on iMessage, texting will be free, though there may be data charges if you do not have Wi-Fi. You can use FaceTime Audio in iOS 7 and later to call people but regular phone calls still count against your phone plan.

  • Can i use ipad wi-fi +cellular for phone calling?

can i use ipad wi-fi +cellular for phone calling?

    Yes, another good VOIP resource.
Though it's important to understand that this is NOT cellular calling. The SIM in the iPad remains usable ONLY for data connectivity. There is still no voice or text capability through the operator network.

  • Can I use Apple Pay at any store that has an NFC reader or has that merchant had to have signed up to accept Apple Pay?

Can I use Apple Pay at any store that has an NFC reader (with no Apple Pay logo) or has that merchant had to have signed up to accept Apple Pay?

If the merchant accepts contactless payments, you should be able to use any contactless payment option (which includes Apple Pay).
Some merchants (like CVS) have NFC readers but they have been deactivated because they are a member of a competing payment system (Current C).

  • I got an iPhone 4 while I was living in Japan. How can I use it in the states now that I live here?

I was using an iPhone 4 while I was living in Japan. How can I use it in the states now that I live here? It is a perfectly good phone and I don't want to use it only as an iPod and camera.

That's one option. The other is to sell it (you can probably get close to what you paid for it) or trade it in and get a new unlocked phone directly from an Apple store. That way you can use it in the US, and also in Japan when you return there.
