Can i use mirroring if i dont have the Lion software? and also i dont no how to connect my mac book and ipad etc to my apple tv ! Please help

You need Mountain Lion (not Lion) to use mirror and your Mac has to be mid 2011 (early 2011 for MacBook Pro) too. If you don't have this then a third party app called airparrot may help you.
To air play (not mirror) from iTunes make sure Home Sharing is turned on, that the device or mac is on the same apple id as the Apple TV and on the same network. Look for an icon like a TV with a triangle in it, that is the air play icon. This may help http://support.apple.com/kb/ht4437

I cant get my iphone 5 to be compatible with my mac book pro. When I plug the iphone 5 in it tells me that i need a newer version of itunes 10.7 and I currently have 10.6. I checked for updates in my itunes and it says i dont have any. So i have gone to the itunes website to try and redownload itunes which i believe it 11.7. When I try and download that version it tells me the software on my computer doesn't suppor that version. I try to update my software and it says there is not software updates available right now. Is there anyway I can get my iphone 5 to synce to my itunes?
In order to get those to work you will have to upgrade to Snow Leopard 10.6.8.
Start by checking if you can run Snow Leopard:

but nobody knows for how long it will be available.
When you have installed it, run Software Update to download and install the latest updates for Snow Leopard, preferably the full 10.6.8 combo updater. -
Itunes keeps saying my ipad 2 cannot be used because the required software is not installed. It IS. I have unistalled and reinstalled many times. It worked before but now all of a sudden it doesnt.
this is seriously frustrating!!!Let's try a standalone Apple Mobile Device Support install. It still might not install, but fingers crossed any error messages will give us a better idea of the underlying cause of why it's not installing under normal conditions.

I am now reconnected throught wi-fi... and I cannot seem to continue my upate... my iphone cannot be used as it indicates to connect to itunes... and itunes does not recognize my iphone!!!

my first day using apple, i love it, is a power 4.1, older, but is ok to learn it, however, i bought it from someone , and i was not
given the password for key chain, so, this screen keeps on coming up, and i dont know the password, so i keep on canceling out
of it, ..... any ideas on how to fix this problem, is the key chain, that you can access through utilities, but i dont have the old password, that is my first

Does it allow you to go ahead and use the iBook after you cancel the Keychain login? If so, it's not a big deal.
Are you able to go to System Preferences > Accounts and create a new account for yourself? That should eliminate Keychain password problems.

Maybe they will help you get it seated better. It's considered a customer-installable part, so it should be easy enough for you to handle without worrying about goofing anything up.
What CDs (if any) came with the iBook?
Which version of the operating system is it running?
How big is the hard drive and how much space remains available on it? If it's the original hard drive, it's getting very old and could fail at any time. The identifier "PowerBook 4,1" tells me that the iBook is ten years old, and is either a 500 or 600 MHz PowerPC G3 (Dual USB) iBook. As such, you can't expect a whole lot from it.
The optical drive on this iBook could be a CD-ROM (reads CDs only), CD-RW (reads and writes CDs; no DVD capability), DVD (reads CDs and DVDs), or Combo (reads and writes CDs; reads DVDs) drive.

I have a UK apple mac and im trying to use mirroring so when searching google, ebay, writting document it shows up on my tv but i dont have the option of 'Mirroring' when i click on the rectangular box in lower right hand corner. Anyone have advice on how I can do this?

It also requires the computer to be using wi-fi.

My iPad has been stolen. Someone broke into my house on Tuesday. I have already tried locking it through icloud. I have reported this to the authorities but they cannot do much unless I give them the serial number to the iPad. With the serial number they can put it into a database and send that inormation to pawn shops, so i the theie tries to pawn it, the pawn shop employeee can convscate the iPad and hand it over to the authorites. I need the serial number to report it to the authorities. I dont have the box it came in or the receipt and its not on my itunes on the computer because I didnt use it or music, just pictures. Can someone please help??? btw, some words are misspelled becasue the letter that comes ater the letter E, doesnt work on my keybord.

"itunes could not connect to the ipod becasue it is locked with a passcode. I have bought an used Iphone 5. I dont have the password for the existing login id of the old owner. How do i use the phone and change the log in id?
Unfortunatly the only way that you can get it off is to get the old user to input the password. You may need to contact that old user and see if he can put the old password in. hope this helps.

im having trouble connecting my macbookpro to the tv. im using a mini display port to hdmi adapter, when i switch tv/video to hdmi on the tv nothing pops up, and i dont have the arrangement tap on the display settings, please help!
I've found that the order of operations, so-to-speak, can be important when hooking up mini display port to HDMI. I have the most success with the following operations in this order:
1) Plug HDMI cable into mini displayport adapter (the cable should not be plugged into either the TV or the computer at this point)
2) Plug the mini displayport end of your new super-cable to the computer.
3) Plug the HDMI end into your TV.
4) Switch inputs on your TV to the proper input.
5) If still nothing on the TV, try a different HDMI port on your TV.

You need to return it to the seller and get your money back. You cannot reset or use the device with another AppleID installed unless you know the password for that ID.

If you didn't set up Find My iPhone in the iCloud settings, then you can't. Notify the police and change the password to your Apple ID and any other online services you used from that iPhone, just as a precaution.

so my iphone 5 kept crashing and i brought it to the apple store and got a new replacement phone. Unfortunately for me the next day it got stolen, i have the find my iphone app but it says my device is offline so i cant track it nor can i wipe the contents. I have blocked my sim, but someone told me that i could get the product itself blocked so that the horrible theif cannot use it at all. Since it was a replacement product and i lieterally just got it i dont have the serial or imei number to get it blocked. Would apple have a record of the replacement devices number? i tried using the online chat but it wont work becausae i dont have the serial number or anything. thanks in advance for your help.

IMEI number carrier can track a device with but only way to do it is when the police bring a warrent
