    Hola, Eddy
notice that you have posted to an old thread (Oct-Nov2013) that actually took quite some time to get attention back then**
I recommend that you contact the Store Group regarding your purchase question - don't let the "iTune-ish" URL and page title throw you off... it's the right place

  • Can i use my apple id on two phones?

Can i use my apple id on two phones?

Yes, but be aware that you may end up getting duplicates of all Cloud synced information on both phones. Either you disable iCloud altogether or give each phone a separate Apple ID and computer user account.
Using More than One iDevice on the Same Computer
This applies mainly to couples who are adding another device and do not want their email, messages, etc. being duplicated on both devices. To begin read: How to use multiple iPhone, iPad, or iPod devices with one computer. You need to establish a separate Apple ID and password for whomever will use the new iDevice. See Apple - My Apple ID and Frequently asked questions about Apple ID. The easiest way is to do this on the computer using iTunes: iTunes- How to set up an Apple ID within iTunes.
On the computer create a new user account for the person with the new iDevice. This will be the user account that person will always use. He/She will no longer use the other user account. This way that person will have a separate iTunes Library
Start by transferring the new device(s) to a new account along with all your data.  Save any photo stream photos that you want to keep to your camera roll (unless they are already in the camera roll) by opening your Photos app, tap on Albums icon at the bottom. Now, tap on My Photo Stream album; tap Select; tap on the photos you want to select;, tap the share icon (box with upward facing arrow) in the lower left corner; then tap Save to Camera Roll.
If you are syncing notes with iCloud that you want to keep then you need to open each of your notes and email them to yourself. Later you can copy and paste the text into new notes created in your new account.
Tap on Settings > iCloud > Delete Account (only deletes it from this device, not from iCloud; the person keeping the current account will not be affected,) provide the password to turn off Find My Phone and choose Keep on My iDevice when prompted.  Sign in with a different Apple ID to create your new account. Choose Merge to upload your data.
Once you are on separate accounts, you can each go to icloud.com and delete the other person's data from your account.
Note: The essence of the above was created by user, randers4. I

  • Can I use multiple apple ids with iTunes Match?

My family has multiple apple ids although we share many devices.  If we subscribe to iTunes Match, will it pull all the content from all the devices or just one apple id?

iTunes Match is associated with one, and only one, iTunes Store account. To use iTM on multiple devices all those devices must be signed into the mobile iTunes Store with the same AppleID.

  • How can we use multiple Apple on IDs on an iPad?

I have just bought my girlfriend an iPad 2 which we have set up with a new Apple ID in her name.  She is using the iPad fine and has already used her Apple ID to download some music from iTunes onto the iPad along with some Apps.  However, I have a lot of music which I have downloaded from iTunes onto my PC using my own Apple ID. We also have an Apple TV and I use an iPhone 4 which has been updated to iOS 5.01.
What I am confused about is how the new iCloud Service, iTunes-in-the-Cloud, iTunes Match, iTunes WiFi synching and Home Sharing all work together.  Ideally, my girlfriend would like to be able to access all the music and movies I have downloaded onto the PC from iTunes using my own Apple ID.  Should I use my Apple ID on her iPad as well as her ID for HomeSharing to facilitate this, or would this confuse the iPad?  However, I thought one of the ideas of iCloud was that any music you have purchased on one device (i.e. the PC) is automatically sent to every other Apple device you use.  Or do you have to subscribe to iTunes Match to make this happen?  Should my girlfriend be synching her iPad with the PC to gain access to all of my music, or would this confuse matters and delete everything she has bought on the iPad from iTunes using her own Apple ID?
Is it better to "send" music and movies to our Apple TV using AirPlay or using HomeSharing?
    Any help would be appreciated.
    Thank you.

Office is not available for iOS.

  • How can I use multiple iTunes accounts on one phone?

I Have an iTunes account with iTunes match enabled. I've just moved in with my gf and want to be able to share music on our phones. I've enabled her computer and put my Apple ID in and I now have all her music on my phone (thanks to iTunes match) but when I try and **** her phone it ignores all my music. How can I get all my music on her phone? The only way I have managed it is to sign out of her account on the phone and sign in with my ID but that would mean all her purchases would be charged to me etc so this isn't a solution really

Put everything on the computer to which she syncs, and sync them to her iPhone.

  • Can I use multiple Apple IDs in one device on IOS 7 as I do on IOS 6 ?

I Used to live in the UK so I have many apps, albums and other stuff purchased from the UK stores. When I moved to the States I started to buy from the US stores.. With IOS 6 I can switch between stores and have content from both of them on my devices, can I do the same on IOS 7?

Create a separate iTunes library for each device. Note:It is important that you make a new iTunes Library file. Do not justmake a copy of your existing iTunes Library file. If iTunes is open, quit it.
This one may work. I searched and searched on the website for something like this, I guess I just didn't search correctly, lol. I will give this a try later. My daughter is not be back for a few weekends, therefore I will have to try the Method 3 when she comes back for the weekend again. "
I forgot to mention that she has a PC at her house that she also syncs to. Would this cause a problem. I am already getting that pop up saying that the iPod is synced to another library (even though she is signed in with her Apple ID to iTunes) and gives the pop up to Cancel, Erase & Sync, or Transfer Purchases. My question arose because she clicked on "Erase & Sync" by mistake when she plugged the iPod to her PC the first time. When the iPod was purchased and setup, it was synced to my PC first. When she went home, she hooked it up to her PC and then she erased it by accident. I was able to restore all the missing stuff yesterday using my PC. However, even after doing that it still told me the next time I hooked it up last night that the iPod was currently synced with a different library. Hopefully, you can help me understand all this. She wants to sync her iPod and also backup her iPod at both places. Both PCs have been authorised. Thanks

  • HT204053 Can I use multiple apple id on an iphone

I would like to use two different accounts on my iphone5. Is this possible?

You can log out of the currently logged in account by tapping on the id in Settings > iTunes & App Stores and you can then log in with a different account, but if you use iTunes match, automatic downloads or re-download past purchases then you risk tying the iPhone to that account for 90 days : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4627

  • Can you use multiple Apple TVs in a single location?

I have a client who wishes to put 4 monitors in a meeting room environment. They would like the ability to play the same image on all four monitors, as well as the option to play different things on separate monitors at the same time. Will Apple TV work for this application?
My thinking is that the Apple TVs could be tied to separate networks for individual devices showing different images and linked to the same network if they wanted all four screens to show the same thing. Am I way off base????

    Success, Winston!
It took a few extra steps because of airplay passwords and then it dropped one one the rooms i was trying to add. So fingers crossed that nothing else happens, but its working fine this morning!
One other question.....often when I turn on iTunes on apple TV, it doesnt have my playlists.Says they are not available. Then later I can try it and ther they are. What causes that? Is there a way to prevent that for happening?

  • Can I use multiple apple ids on one device

My family shares an iPad but we all have different ids and want to put our own apps on it. Is this possible?

As far as I know this is possible. Just log in with each single id under settings>store an redownload the apps from the app store (app store>downloads>purchased articles).
Though it will be difficult to do future updates, because only the updates of the id that is used for the moment are showing up.

  • Can you access/use multiple apple ID's on one device?

    Hello,
In our family we have been registering everything (ipods, iphones and computers) all under one apple id. We have made purchases with the family apple id which we have been accessing on multiple devices. With everyones different needs I am wondering about setting up new apple id's for different family members. Can I use multiple apple id's on devices like my iPhone and still access apps/books/music purchased on the family apple id's and if so how do I do this.
Thank you in advance for your help.

Why do you have 3 Apple IDs?
Apple IDs cannot be merged and items bought with one Apple ID cannot be transfered to another. A computer can only be associated with one Apple ID every 90 days for automatic downloads, re-downloading of past purchases or iTunes Match. There is no getting around this restriction.
One computer can be autorized to play content purchased with multiple Apple IDs, though.
My suggestion is to pick on Apple ID and stick with it for the future. Once you have decided, log into one of the other Apple IDs and download every avialble item you bought with that ID to your computer. Wait 90 days. Log into the other ID and do the same thing. Wait 90 days. Finally log into the "main" Apple ID and stay logged in. Keep current backups of all your purchased items on a local, external HDD.

  • HT204053 can you have multiple apple id's for the family but we all use the same iCloud?

Can you have multiple apple id's for the family members but we all us the same iCloud account?

You'll have to have an ID you all share in order to have a shared iCloud account. It would be sensible for each person to have their own ID and their own iCloud account for email and their own data (each would be on their own computer/iOS device or user account on a Mac) and then have a common account which everyone would sign into in System Preferences>Mail, Contacts and Calendars to access shared data.
You don't want to be all using the email in a common account - if people are using email aliases remember these can't be detached from the account and transferred to another one. Having all your emails mixed up together can be somewhat impracticable.

  • HT4436 My family has multiple iPhones.  Can we use one Apple ID for all of our phones?

My family has multiple iPhones.  Can we use one Apple ID for all of our phones?

If you use the same AppleID for iMessage and iCloud though, you will all be sharing the same message account and iCloud email account.  You can use a common AppleID for purchased content, but each create your own unique AppleID for iMessage and iCloud so you each have your own private accounts for those services.

  • Can you share songs and apps but use multiple apple ID's?

Can you share songs and apps but use multiple apple ID's?

hmm, that's a trick one! what I would do is go to Messages>preferences>accounts and then select imessages and then select account details and then sign out. Then your wife will need to sign in with her apple id.
    hope this helps!!
let me know if that works because I've never actually tried it.
simply adding both of your accounts to be reached at will prove to be faulty because when you reply you can only reply with the one email address. And even if you switch caller id's it probably still won't work. So I think my method would be the easiest way to do that at this time.

  • How can I use 2 Apple IDs in Itunes? I have 2 IOS Devices. They each have there own AppleID. What is the proper way to sync both of them to Itunes?

How can I use 2 Apple IDs in Itunes? I have 2 IOS Devices. They each have there own AppleID. What is the proper way to sync both of them to Itunes? I wanted my teenager's AppleID to be different from mine so that she couldn't charge stuff to my AppleID, therefore I created me another one. Now when I go to Sync either device, it tells me that this IOS device can only be synced with one AppleID. Then I get a message to erase it, not going to do that, lol. If I logout as one ID and login as the other, will it still retain all synced information on the PC from the first IOS device? If I can just log in out of the AppleID, then I have no problem doing that as long as the synced apps, music, etc stays there for both. I am not trying to copy from one to the other, just want to make sure I have a backup for the UhOh times. If logging in and out on the same PC of multiple AppleIDs is acceptible then I need to be able to authorize the PC for both devices. Thanks for the help. I am new to the iOS world.
