If I buy a individual subscription can I use photoshop on multiple computers eg. my desktop, laptop and iPad?
If so, what is required on each device? If I am on my laptop away form home can I log onto photoshop and still access documents Ive been working on?
Sorry for the stupid questions, I do not fully understand how the 'Cloud' works and what it offers me if I need to use photoshop on several devices.
Any assistance would be appreciated.

You have 2 activations, meaning you can use it on 2 computers. Mobile devices are treated separately and are not tied to the activation limit. Whether or not you will be able to work on your documents across will depend on syncing them or making them otherwise available through some shared (web) storage.

Hello all, I own a desktop computer, and just recently bought my first laptop. I have iTunes already installed and my iPod synced on the desktop. Now I just installed iTunes on the laptop, and want to sync the iPod on the laptop also, so I can have two computers synced with the same iPod. Can that be done? No. TM is machine specific and is not ideal for syncing machines. You need syncing software or MobileMe. MobileMe has a 2 month free trial. Oh, cloning software of specific files may work as well depending on what you are syncing.

Trying to organize a new workflow for travel using a desktop, laptop and IPad using LR mobile

Apologies in advance as I'm sure this has been asked but I am swamped with information on the web.
OK for travel I want to upload images to my laptop from my CF cards. I then want to be able to make basic edits and flags on the laptop (which I am yet to purchase) and then have this reflect on my desktop. I have LR mobile so figured the laptop access would allow me to do the same things as if I was viewing on the IPad but apparently not...Please help!
I have read about some people exporting the catalog backwards and forwards between the 2 devices and this seems messy and I don't think I want to get into that. A main attraction was to be able to upload and edit on the road (I'm taking a 3.5 week trip to Cambodia) and then on my return to my desktop have a lot of the work done to then make final detailed edits and subsequent books, prints etc.
I love photography but I'm not a tech geek so any help/suggestions appreciated!

On the laptop start a new catalogue for the trip. Import all new photos into it. At the end, copy it and the images to the desktop and in, your main catalogue, use File > Import from Another Catalog to bring in all the work in the trip catalogue. Maybe practice this workflow now and return with other questions?

Icloud does not have restrictions on amount of computers. You can use it on your desktop or laptop or both. Sync with one computer's library comes in to play when you deal with licensed content sync, like music, movies, etc. Icloud only deals with personal info.(contacts, calendars, photos).
there is another part that for marketing services Apple sells as icloud - itunes in the cloud. Feature that allows you to download your purchses at itunes/app store from any devices. That one is restricted to 5 computers.

I've purchased a Lacie Network HD that I'm keeping all of my iTunes on. I've put an alias to the iTunes library from that drive in the music folders of the computers I want to access and update it. That all works well. The only problem is that both computers cannot have iTunes running at the same time. I get an error stating that the library is locked. It would appear that I can't have multiple computers accessing the library at the same time. Is there a work around for this aside from doing network sharing via iTunes? The reason I don't want to do that is that I want both computers to have access to the actual files if I'm using the various iLife apps that use iTunes.

This is true. It's not a server app.
The nearest thing would be a library file on each machine pointing to the same set of music files. However, you might have problems if both machines try to access a particulat track at the same time. Also, changes made on one machine would not be reflected in the other. So if you rip a CD on one, the files will also have to be 'imported' to the other.
