Can I use multiple sa-ns500 on the same network?

Is it possible to use multiple sa-ns500 speakers on the same network? they seem to want to have the same name on the network and therefore only 1 will connect at a time? Can I rename one somehow? Thanks!

Please check for the Secure Link option in the Home Theater System or A/V Receiver. This will help isolate the connection to the different Network speakers.
Yes, you can use multiple Network speakers on the same home network.
You can change the Device name using the Setting screen on the browser.
Follow the steps mentioned on the page # 34 and 35 of the User’s manual to start up the browser of the Network speakers and change the Device name.

Here is what I want to do. I currently have a time capsule used for one end of the house. Currently my 2 kids rooms are in an addition that I have run a cable from the time capsule to each of their rooms. If I want to give them wireless for that part of the house could I add another TC, for wireless and they can both backup their macbooks to that time capsule.
So Can I add a 2nd time capsule to extend by "N" network, or should I just go with an AP express or extreme and let them each have their own HD backup for each macbook?

Have bought many reconditioned (Refurb) product from Apple site and have always been happy with them. To date none have failed me and we have been Apple customers since 2006. With that said when you buy Refurbs make sure you know what model you are getting. The current TCs on the Apple site are last generation. The way to tell is to check the model number against the current one. Easy way to do this is to put both in the shopping cart and compare the model numbers. The Refurb model number is FB277LL/A and the new TC model is MB765LL/A. The first digits identify whether a Refurb or new, the rest should be the same if they are the same model number.
Before you buy, now which model number you want and then check other sites to compare prices. I recently purchased a new TC on Amazon for a better price then the Apple Store Site. For larger Refurb purchases like MBPs, we choose to buy directly from Apple; but for peripherals we often buy from OWC, Amazon, and other sites. Hope this helps.

Can We Use Multiple Edgehero Classes On The Same Element?

Does anyone know if it is possible to add multiple Edgehero classes to the same element? More specifically, I would like to use RotateX and RotateY on a rectangle, but it only seems to do one or the other, adding both classes to the element doesn't make it rotate in both directions.

-Can a 2nd ATV be added to a network (for a 2nd set)?
-To sync, does it have to be the same sized HD, or can you sync them seperately?
-Can the ATV2 output simultaneously to HDMI and component outputs or does one cancel the other?

Interesting. I have my main flat screen with the Apple TV connected via component through to my Home theater system and wanted to also run it direct to the second HDMI for times when my wife does not want to go through the HT setup, etc. I had noticed a 1080i option, not 1080P. I gather 1080P will come up if I switch it to HDMI? My cable box allows simultaneous component and HDMI outputs. I didn't realize that 1080P is not available on the component spigots.

I was looking into purchasing 2 apple tvs and was wondering if they can be setup with different apple ids. I need to have mine setup with my id and be able to hook my devices to it , but have the one in a bedroom hooked to a different apple id and have my friend's devices stream to that one and not mine. In order that your Apple TV only streamed from your iTunes Library and your friends to your friends, you would both have to have different homesharing ID's.
So far as devices go, any device on a network can stream over AirPlay to an Apple TV, to ensure each of you couldn't stream to the others device you can enable a password via the Apple TV which would then need entering when you used a device for AirPlay.
Shouldn't be a problem to do what you want to do.

You can do it but there is a delay from the bluetooth speaker. You'll need an iphone or ipad using the Apple app "Control", airplay setup, bluetooth speaker, and an Apple laptop or desktop.
I used my laptop to connect to my bluetooth speaker so that sound streams to my bluetooth device. Then, on my iphone I opened Control and connect the music to my airplay and my laptop at the same time. The music goes to your airplay speaker, and then to my laptop which then blue tooths it to my speaker. But, as I said the bluetooth takes an extra step to stream it and so the music is not in sync. Its like a second and a half delay....

I am going to use disk utility to create a copy of my current OSX 10.5 system on a new external drive before upgrading to Snow Leopard. Then I want to create a bootable copy of Snow Leopard. Can I create one partion large enoough to hold both images or will I need to create a separate partition for each. I have done booting off of an external hard drive and it works well. I do not know how the system sees this and thus if I store both images on the same partition, will it give me both as a boot option at startup or will it see only one?

Our experience is a little different, we have different iTunes accounts for different family members, each family member has their own iTunes library on their own mac, each mac uses my Apple ID for homesharing and we are able to play purchased content from each library on the Apple TV.

Winston, what sort of set up do you have for 10 apple tvs? - I currently have 2 and cannot stream different movies successfully at the same time to both of them from a single macbook pro. There is no such functionality build into the framework. The offline data base is only for designing the db, not to have a backup db.
If you can't connect to the db the application will not work.

Only the carrier an iPhone was sold as carrier locked with can officially unlock the iPhone. It is my understanding that Softbank in Japan does not unlock iPhones.
