Can I use my BB Z10 in India???

Hi,
I have bought BB Z10 in Nigeria & using there. Now I am in India and change my SIM but Phone is not detecting my new SIM. Why??? what is the solution ???

Two things I can think of...
1) Your specific Z10 model (there are 4) must be capable of working with the radio frequencies of your carrier network...refer:

2) Your BB must be carrier unlocked...check here:
Homescreen > Swipe Down From Top > Select Settings > Security and Privacy > SIM Card
In the bottom section ("Phone Network Lock"), if any items do not say "Unlocked", then your BB remains locked to it's original carrier, and must be unlocked before use on any other carrier.

You need to talk to your available carriers to determine if their network is compatible with the specific model of BB that you have.

If the phone was unlocked by AT&T AND has never been jailbroken it will work in India.

I've got an old 8GB 2G iphone (the first model) bought in the UK. Roaming's turned on, and I'm currently using it as a phone in India with a UK number.
However, now I've got an Indian simcard (Airtel) and I want to use it with my iphone. Will this work? And, as the phone doesn't have a UK sim in (I accessed the number online somehow, as per the instructions at the time), will I be able to get all my texts etc back when I want to switch back to the UK number?

I live in USA and I am planning to purchase Palm Centro unlocked GSM to take it to India. Wanted to check if this phone works in India. Any immediate reply on this is highly appreciated. I guess you must be aware that India networks would operates on 850/900/1900 bands.

i have a iphone 4 brought from us to india. As i know my iphone has been useless for about 6 months now i just want to use my iphone in india. as i have already paid all the iphone value. Why am i not able to get it unlocked.

Because the iPhone is sold in the U.S. as carrier locked with AT&T only. There is no law in the U.S. that requires AT&T or any carrier to unlock a carrier locked phone. AT&T does not unlock the iPhone for any reason or under any circumstances. There are a number of countries out of 90 or so total where the iPhone is sold as officially unlocked. The U.S. is not one of them.

Can't use Blend with Z10

Tried opening Blackberry Blend with my Z10 connected to the computer - it tells me I need version 10.3 of the BB OS, but when I try to update the phone OS it tells me my current version (10.2.1.3062) is the latest version.

I installed OS 10.3.1.1949 yesterday and Blend works like a charm.

Most of the phone providers in UK offer microsim for iphone4 but in India iphone 4 hasn't launched yet so if i buy an iphone4 from apple store in UK without sim, how can i use my iphone 4 in India?

There are many posts about cutting down normal sim cards to the microsim profile which should work so long as you use one for a provider who supports the iPhone 3G/3GS. Their systems may detect that you're phone isn't supported and cut you off thought but the only way to tell is to try as it will depend on the provider.
