i Have go a free 1 year subscription to creative cloud as part of a canon promotion for buying a 6D, but I already subscribe to this service, can I still use it?

With Creative Cloud, file editing comes in via downloading Adobe applications with a Creative Cloud membership. While you cannot edit within Creative Cloud, you can share files with your coworkers which can then be downloaded, edited in an Adobe application, and reuploaded to the Cloud.
Be aware that although you can have two computers activated on the same Creative Cloud membership, you cannot use the same application on two computers simultaneously. A Creative Cloud membership is for one user that can be used on one or more computers.
You may want to look into the Creative Cloud Team Ready, that targets work environments like yours. You can read more about Team Ready here.

Gift cards are country specific. You cannot use them in another country.

If your iPad Mini is a cellular model, you can use Skype (and buy a block of minutes). If only wireless, you can also use Skype on a wireless connection. It saved the day when I forgot my iPhone and needed to make a call. Skype sells phone numbers, but I've never gone that route.

How to change to a yearly subscription from a 3 mo...

I have a 3 month unlimited world subscription but would like to see whether an annual unlimited world subscription works out cheaper. If it does work out cheaper, I do not see how you can upgrade from a 3 month to a yearly subscription. Would I have to cancel and then re-subscribe?
Can anyone help with this please?

note that, if you don't already realize this, the automatic renewals actually occur a few days in advance of the official expiry date, but subscription period is otherwise not affected

You want system, data, backup etc. Make good use of the four internal drive bays.
You will have to use Disk Utility to ERASE or click on drive and use PARTITION to make it Mac writeable.
