Can i use my  iphone of at&t which is bought from usa in india?

can i use my  iphone of at&t which is bought from usa in india?

Nope. All AT&T iPhones are locked to AT&T & there is no way to get them officially unlocked, as AT&T will not unlock an iPhone for anyone for any reason. You could only use it in India while roaming with AT&T-cost a small fortune.

  • I CANT USE MY İPHONE 5S İN TURKEY WHICH I BOUGHT FROM USA

i bought 5s from USA. I am livng in turkey. can i get services apple store of Turkey about apple malfunction?
one hour in day my phone is not find service. it is searching?
    could you help me ?
i tried many things. reseted my phone
i turned it to  factory settings  but it did not work.....
I want to receive service in Turkey.  My phone apple and there are two apple store in Turkey. But i cant use my phone. this is unreasonable.
there are any one answer my problem.

Your device has a warranty & service coverage in the United States, not in Turkey.  An iPhone sold in the U.S. is intended for use in the U.S., not in Turkey.  You should have purchased an iPhone in Turkey for use in Turkey.
Only if you are going to be temporarily traveling should you be in a country with an iPhone meant for use in another country.
Is your home country the U.S. or Turkey?

Can i use my iPhone 4 in Canada? I bought it in Germany .

If officially unlocked, yes. You can use any GSM sim you want. If not officially unlocked, you'll have to get an International plan from your carrier...very expensive.

  • My phone's earphone doesn't work which was bought from USA last month, the china apple store didn't accept the free repaired,so what can i do now?

my new iphone5s's earphone doesn't work which was bought from USA last month, probably it was cause by falling down on floor insidentally one day before I came back china , the problem is ,the china apple store didn't accept the free repaire even the phone was bought only one month age, I was so disappointed and realized the iphone 5s is so  fragile, although I previous iphone4 which was also bought from USA 4 years age, it also fell down many times, it still works well now.  what can i do now? send it back to USA for repairing? if like that,it will take almost two month to finish the all processes, that not only waste the time spent on the way, also waste expense on the expense, the important prlblem is,  I can't use the phone during the repairing~ please give me a solution as soon as you can ,thank you very much!

You can send it to someone you know in the US to have them take it in for service or you can get on a plane and take it there yourself. You can not ship it to Apple in the US for service.

  • Can I use my iPhone to remotley remove my Apple ID from an iPad?

I Need to remove my applied from an iPad that is no longer in my possession. Can I do this from my iPhone?

    Hello Noclueuk,
Based on your post I understand you would like to remove personal information from a lost iPad. The only way to do this is by using iCloud security features which allow you to remotely erase a device. Do you have an iCloud account you used on the iPad? This article provides more information:
    iCloud: Erase your device
If your iOS device or Mac is lost or stolen, you can erase it if you set up Find My iPhone on the device before it was lost.
If you erase your iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Plus and you have credit and debit cards in Passbook for Apple Pay, Find My iPhone attempts to remove your cards immediately, even if your iPhone is offline. For more information, see the Apple Support article Using Passbook.
Important: Before you erase your device, try to locate it or play a sound on it. After you erase it, you can’t use Find My iPhone to do either. You may still be able to locate your Mac if it’s near a previously used Wi-Fi network.
Sign in to icloud.com/#find with your Apple ID (the one you use with iCloud), then click Find My iPhone.
If you’re using another iCloud app, click the app’s name at the top of the iCloud.com window, then click Find My iPhone.
If you don’t see Find My iPhone on iCloud.com, your account just has access to iCloud web-only features. To gain access to other iCloud features, set up iCloud on your iOS device or Mac.
Click All Devices, then select the device you want to erase.
If you have Family Sharing set up, your family members’ devices appear below their names.
In the device’s Info window, click Erase [device].
    To erase:
An iOS device: Enter your Apple ID password. If the device you’re erasing has iOS 7 or later, enter a phone number and message. The number and message will be displayed on the screen after the device is erased.
A Mac: Enter your Apple ID password, enter a passcode to lock the Mac (you’ll need to use the passcode to unlock it), then enter a message. The message will be displayed on the screen after the Mac is erased.
Note: If you’re trying to erase a family member’s device, that person’s Apple ID password must be entered on this computer.
If your device is online, the remote erase begins. A confirmation email is sent to your Apple ID email address.
If your device is offline, the remote erase begins the next time it’s online.
If you erase then find your iOS device, you can restore the information on the device using iCloud Backup (if backup was turned on before you erased it) or iTunes. For more information, see iCloud storage and backup overview, or the Safety, Handling & Support section of the iOS 8 user guide for your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch. If your device has iOS 7 or earlier, get the user guide from the Apple Support website.
If you erase then find your Mac, you can restore the information on the Mac using a Time Machine backup. For more information, see the Apple Support article Recover your entire system. If you set an EFI firmware password on your Mac before it was lost, then erase it and later find it, you may need to take your Mac to an authorized repair center to unlock it before you can use it again.
Note: If you don’t expect to find your iPhone or iPad (Wi-Fi + cellular models), you should contact your wireless service provider to suspend service so you aren’t responsible for phone calls or other charges.
Thank you for contributing to Apple Support Communities.
    Cheers,
    Bobby_D

  • Can I change my iphone 6 plus'screen, which was bought in Japan, in China mainland?

    Good Day
My iphone6 plus (64G) was bought in Japan from the official website, my kid broke the screen accidentally.
Can I get it repaired in China Mainland, how much is the cost?
    Your assistance is highly appreciated.

Warranty is valid only in country of original purchase. You have to return
the iPhone personally or send it to a friend/relative/co-worker in Japan for them
to take into Apple Japan. Be advised if the iPhone was hacked or otherwise
modified to unlock from the Japanese wireless provider, Apple will not have
anything to do with the iPhone - including paid for repairs.

  • HT1386 I can't use my iphone after upgrading to IOS5

Can someone help?  I can't use my iphone 3gs after upgrading to ios5.

I have iphone 3 GS.  I upgraded the software to ios 5 and the phone is now can't be accessed.  All I can see is the Gray screen says Iphone.  It ask me to set it up, choose your country, wifi, etc.  when I did that, it always stop at the page where it says "Apple activation server is down, please try it again".  Tried so many times but the same messages kept showing up.  Connect it to Itunes, itunes said there is no sim card installed.  I went to AT&T to get the new simcard and it still saying the same thing.  don't know what's wrong with it.

  • Can I use multiple iPhones on the same iTunes account? e.g. my wife and I each have iPhones

Yes, you can have as many devices - iPhones, iPods, iPads - as you like using the same iTunes account.

  • How can I use 2 iPhone 4's on same iTunes account, but NOT sync same contacts?

How can I use 2 iPhone 4's on same iTunes account, but NOT sync same contacts?

They need to be registered under different Apple ID's.  The initial Apple ID is set when you first start the phone up.  If you've already registered the phone to the iTunes account, back it up to your computer, and then have iTunes do a factory reset.  Go to www.icloud.com, log in with your current Apple ID, select "Find My iPhone," choose the iPhone you want to dissociate from your primary Apple ID from the upper left, and then click the little circled X ("remove").
When you start the phone, it will have you go through the setup process again, at which time you need to create a unique Apple ID for the device.  You can then restore it from your iTunes backup to get back your apps and other settings.
Whenever you use the iTunes store, use the login information (Apple ID and password) that you were using before.  Basically, the second Apple ID that you created is purely used for accessing iCloud services, which includes synchronization of contacts, iCal events, and other such things.

  • Hi, we have two iphones with two accounts.  The apple tv automatically syncs with one account to play music from the iphone to apple tv.  How can I use my iphone to do the same?

Hi, we have two iphones with two accounts.  The apple tv automatically syncs with one account to play music from the iphone to apple tv.  How can I use my iphone to do the same?

Our experience is a little different, we have different iTunes accounts for different family members, each family member has their own iTunes library on their own mac, each mac uses my Apple ID for homesharing and we are able to play purchased content from each library on the Apple TV.

  • Can i use my iphone without a sim card as a ipod

can i use my iphone without a sim card as a ipod?

The SIM card is not required to use an iPhone as an iPod or to be used for anything else besides cell phone related services.
For a no longer activated iPhone, the no longer activated SIM card that was used with the iPhone when it was activated must be inserted in the iPhone in order to install an iOS update and for no other reason.
